I'm the King of Curry at Hogwarts
Chapter 136 You're surrounded!
Chapter 136 You're surrounded!
That said, Louis had played a bit of the game in his past life, and he had even fought against the Tree Guardian. But he felt that this guy was different from the ones he had fought before.
Something was wrong, very wrong. He couldn't quite put his finger on it, but a sense of unease lingered in his heart.
After darting back and forth across the tree guard for nearly a dozen lightning strikes, a sudden sense of crisis arose. Louis, as if struck by a flash of inspiration, quickly controlled Torret to accelerate forward.
A wave of heat almost grazed past him and Torret, and out of the corner of his eye, Louis saw that the damned tree guard's warhorse could breathe fire.
Ma Geisha, I've never heard of the Tree Guardian using this move before.
Louis even had the mind to amuse himself, thinking to himself, "I really am a master of unexpected tricks. I was able to kill the dancer at the high wall and then encounter this strange tree guard at the border."
My luck is just amazing!
Despite his thoughts, he couldn't stop working. He and Torret were running, with the tree guards in pursuit. They weren't completely trapped yet, but they were close.
He considered taking out Remonia, but then changed his mind. After all, while his riding skills were indeed quite good, he had never practiced riding and fighting...
When he turned back to unleash the lightning, he discovered that crimson lightning was gradually creeping up the axe guarded by the tree.
Louis dared not be careless. He casually threw a lightning bolt and then quickly spurred Torret to run at full speed.
Just as he expected, the instant he accelerated, a thick, scarlet teardrop struck the spot where he had just been standing.
The lightning struck the ground with a deafening roar, shaking the very earth.
Louis almost fell off his horse because he lost his balance.
Looking at the mess behind him, Louis couldn't help but feel a sense of lingering fear.
If that guy gets hit by the lightning, Catherine won't even be able to collect his corpse...
The Tree Guardian pressed his advantage, leaping forward on horseback, fireballs still spitting from its mouth as it raced through the air, relentlessly pursuing Louis. Louis, caught in the crossfire, didn't even have a chance to retaliate.
Torret truly lived up to its name as a spirited horse, showing no signs of fatigue whatsoever. If this were a real-world horse, no matter what kind, it would probably be exhausted and foaming at the mouth long ago.
Not necessarily. Who knows, maybe they'll wet themselves in fright when the tree guardian strikes down with lightning.
Ultimately, heavy armor couldn't catch up with light armor, and they soon created distance between them. This gave Louis an opportunity to attack. Taking advantage of the distance, he transformed into Professor Yang and continuously electrocuted the internet-addicted Tree Guardian.
Even the bravest BOSS couldn't withstand Louis's kiting tactics. After about half an hour of attrition, the tree guardian finally collapsed.
Torett was actually not in much of a state, but Louis was already panting heavily. He lay on Torett for a while to catch his breath, then dismounted and lay on the ground, continuing to pant.

Soul acquired: Soul of the Dragon-Armored Tree Guardian.
At this moment, Louis finally remembered Remonia.
He released Remonia and placed the soul of the dragon-clad tree guardian next to her.
"Hmm... a very fresh soul, and it seems to have a flavor similar to Ardenweald..." After Remonia finished speaking, without her making any move, the soul was completely absorbed as if it had been in contact with water.
"And this too." Louis pulled out Bordeaux's soul as well. Neither the Ice Dog Hammer nor the Pope's right eye were what he wanted; he'd rather use them to nourish Remonia's body.
Having absorbed the soul, Remonia let out an inelegant burp, then smiled seductively, transforming into a succubus to Louis's astonishment.
Is this the legendary "Quickly transform"?
Hmm... she's not exactly a succubus, more like a female vampire.
Louis's first reaction was "huge".
"How about that? You got a fright, little brother?" Remonia's expression was as sinister as could be, with the air of a man-eating older sister, as she immediately straddled Louis.
"...You can leave now," Louis said somewhat awkwardly.
"No." Remonia leaned down and pressed her face against Louis's, taking a deep breath and saying with ecstasy, "Mmm, I'm not full yet, so... little brother, would you be so kind as to give your sister a bite?"
"Hey, don't do anything reckless..." Louis was getting a little anxious. Why were all these women lusting after his body?
Shameless! Vulgar! This has an extremely negative impact!
"Hmph." Remonia narrowed her eyes, revealing two sharp little fangs, stared at Louis for a while, and then snorted, "Forget it, this is really boring... Your two souls have truly exceeded my expectations; the powerful energy they contain has benefited me greatly..."
As he spoke, he leaned down and took a deep breath on Louis's neck, leaving a large hickey.
She got up, wiped her lips, and stared longingly at the strawberry mark still stained with saliva, before turning back into her original form with a wicked smile.
"This form can't last too long. If you want me to unlock more abilities, you'll need to work harder, little brother~" Remonia's words were persuasive, like a serpent tempting Eve to fall.
"Alright, if I have to keep you in this form, I'll lose ten years of my life," Louis said with a headache. The Slytherin common room already had enough trouble with Vitalis, who loved to cause trouble. Add Remonia on top of that, and they might just tear the entire Hogwarts Castle apart.
"Actually, you should have summoned me to fight. I could sense from this soul that this enemy is very powerful, not someone you can easily deal with at your current stage..." Remonia reminded Louis of his mistake in a sweet voice.
Louis said helplessly, "I did want to... but the situation was rather urgent, and I haven't learned how to fight in close combat on horseback, so I didn't take you out..."
Look at how this word is used, "掏" (tāo).
Someone who didn't know better would think they were about to pull something out.
"You should notice that after absorbing these two souls, I can fight freely without your help. In other words... I can assist you in battle like a normal person." Remonia paused for a moment, then continued, "However... there is a time limit, since I am still under the seal."
The system suddenly displayed a small message.
"To build mutual trust, the time for Remonia to temporarily unlock her seal will not be limited until 'Ominous Demon Malkit' is defeated."
Remonia: Current available support time: -/60 seconds.
Note: Each powerful soul can provide Remonia with a support time ranging from ten to three hundred seconds.
"I feel... full of power, my power seems to have returned." Remonia's voice rang out at the right time.
"Then what are we waiting for?" Louis exclaimed excitedly. "Let's hurry up and go! The ominous ghost is waiting for us..."
He communicated and bestowed blessings, instantly teleporting to the front of the level where he had previously encountered Melina, and summoned Torret to gallop wildly on horseback.
The road was clean and there was nothing there. Louis was wondering where all the enemies had gone. Could they have all gone to hide with the ominous demons?
In front of the castle, there was a small house. As Louis rode his horse, he vaguely saw a figure inside the house.
He rolled up his sleeves, dismounted, and the evil sword hung halfway behind him, looking incredibly eerie.
We haven't encountered any blind fools along the way, but we finally saw a monster on this windswept hillside. We had to have a good meal.
But the reality was different from what he had imagined.
Sitting inside the room was a young girl wearing a red headscarf.
The girl looked pretty and normal, the only abnormal thing was that she sat there looking dejected and very sad.
"Who are you?" Louis asked warily.
"Me?" The girl looked up, saw Louis, and forced a smile. "I'm Rodrika..."
Then, she stared blankly at Louis, a neurotic expression on her face, muttering to herself like a broken record: "Everyone's had their limbs reattached, and they came to the border with me. Those who fought for me... heh, their heads, hands, and feet were all cut off and turned into part of a human spider... You know, after being attached to a spider, a person looks a lot like a pupa, isn't that amazing...?"
"Are you moving forward alone? Are you heading towards Stoneville City? Is it because you listened to the sweet words of that gentleman in the white mask, or do you want to become part of the spider? If so, then you're just like me... I really want to be with everyone, but I don't have the courage. Being decapitated and having my limbs cut off is too terrifying. I'm so afraid of pain... I'm such a coward..."
Louis frowned and asked, "What exactly happened... tell me in detail?"
"Little brother...this woman seems to have suffered a mental breakdown; she...you could say she's insane." Remonia's voice echoed in his mind.
Rodrigo didn't answer, but instead took out a handful of pink ash and handed it to Louis: "Could you please take this child with you on your trip? It's too pitiful for her to accompany someone as cowardly as me, but this soul really likes you. She's always had good taste, and I think she'll be very happy if we do this."
Louis took the handful of ashes and carefully stored them in his system space.
He knew that the girl in front of him was somewhat mentally unstable due to the shock, so he didn't say anything more.
"Well then, please take care. If you are going to Stoneville, please tell everyone who has become a pupa that I love them. Although I am still very scared, I will become like everyone else sooner or later."
Louis nodded and replied solemnly, "Yes, I will."
He sighed, deciding to first go to Stoneville City to kill the Ominous Demon, and then see if he could bring Rodrika back to the real world.
This child is so pitiful; he should be handed over to Professor McGonagall for proper care.
Surely the kind-hearted Professor Cat wouldn't refuse this... arduous task?
With that thought in mind, Louis turned and left the cabin, and could still faintly hear Rodrik's murmurs.
"I've finally... I've finally become less afraid of pain..."
What kind of stimulation could have caused her to act like this?
Louis and Remonia stared at each other, having mounted their horses.
"Don't look at me, I can't free her," Remonia said with utter disgust. "I have no interest in the souls of madmen. If you want to give her a release, don't make me do it for her."
"What are you thinking..." Louis's face darkened. "I'm not going to mess with a madman."
After passing through a dense array of barricades and arrow emplacements, Louis finally arrived at the entrance to the ominous demon.
Pushing open the small door, you'll find yourself in a spacious barbican.
No wonder there were no enemies on the road; Louis now understood everything.
The boy had become clever and gathered everyone on the road to his side. There were probably several hundred people, packed tightly together in front of him, with the tallest figure, the "Ominous Demon" Malkit, at the very front.
"Faded One... manipulated by your foolish fire of ambition, you dare to covet the Elden Ring?" Markitt's words were filled with disdain: "Then everything, including that fire, should be extinguished. You should understand that this is not something you can covet... I, 'Ominous Demon' Markitt, hereby declare your execution imminent!"
"You're pretty immature," Louis said dismissively. "I'm curious, besides resorting to sneak attacks, is all you good for is talking big?"
"You sharp-tongued, faded one, it's a pity your glib tongue won't bring you glory, but rather a gruesome death." Malkit laughed wildly, pointing to the crowd behind him: "Look at us, I'm well prepared, and you, you're all alone, faded one."
"If numbers really could defeat numbers, I think the king of mosquitoes would have already sat on the throne of King of Elden," Louis retorted sarcastically.
"Judging by your age, you're barely a teenager. Do you really think you possess the strength of a demigod?" Malkit laughed wildly. "Do you think you're Prince 'Limb-Setting' Grik? Hahahaha... Prince Grik is a king who has lived for hundreds of years, and you? Hahahaha..."
As Malkit spoke, the tallest troll behind him seemed to understand him, pounding its chest like a gorilla and roaring with laughter.
"Judging from your expression, you think you've got me figured out?" Louis asked with a light laugh.
Markitt pointed his broadsword at Louis and shouted, "Don't say we're outnumbered, Faded One, I'll give you the chance to strike first."
Louis wasn't annoyed; he simply smiled and asked, "Really?"
"Of course it's true," Markitt said confidently, looking like he had the victory in the bag.
"Alright." Louis pointed ahead and, as if instinctively possessed, loudly commanded, "Remonia—annihilate these ants!"
The arrogant and unruly tone, along with the unwarranted confidence, made Malkit suddenly regret her words.
Then, the originally bright sky was almost instantly swallowed by a blood red. In the dim blood light, streaks of crimson light formed sword marks that divided the entire barbican into countless narrow spaces.
The ominous, mocking laughter seemed to pierce Markit's eardrums, directly disrupting his thoughts.
