I'm the King of Curry at Hogwarts

Chapter 148 It's White Album Season Again

Chapter 148 It's White Album Season Again

The match, of course, ended with Luis losing.

There was a little incident: Tifa had been hungry the whole time, and when the score was 2-0, she went back to her office and ordered a braised beef with rice. She was enjoying her meal when several of her close upperclassmen knocked on the door.

"Who is it? Come in." Tifa didn't put down her bowl; she was starving.

"Assistant Tifa, something terrible has happened..." the girl named Jody Milson said anxiously, "We lost... Professor Lockhart lost, Mountbatten turned the tide, the score is now three to two..."

Tifa was shocked to hear this. In her shock, she subconsciously made a nasal sound and slammed the bowl upside down on the table. She stood up abruptly, pointing at Jody with trembling hands, unable to speak for a long time.

Then, as if remembering something, she burst out laughing, waving her hands hysterically: "Impossible, absolutely impossible... They're only second-year students! Second-year students! How could they possibly beat them..."

At this point, she realized what she should and shouldn't say. The fewer people who knew about the compound decoction pretending to be a fifth-grade student, the better—especially since they had to call for backup to beat up a group of second-grade students. No matter how you look at it, it was unacceptable, and they were the ones who would lose face.

She quickly grabbed her coat and put it on, not even bothering to eat, and hurried outside to find out what was going on.

After all, seeing is believing, and hearing is deceiving.

The result was news that Lockhart had lost, but fortunately, Louis was also a lazy guy and only took the Defense Against the Dark Arts class for the first and fourth years.

Harry also encountered his own troubles.

Even though he won by making a last-minute appearance, the means by which he won certainly raise questions.

After all, what legitimate wizard speaks Parsleyan?

From the moment he stepped off the dueling platform, he felt that everyone around him was staring at him and whispering—no wonder he was so sensitive, those people talking in hushed tones were all staring straight at him while whispering to each other.

Every now and then, Harry would hear things like "Slytherins also speak Parsley," "The mark of a dark wizard," and "This is so weird," which left him completely bewildered.

After Louise was announced as the winner, Harry left the Great Hall early because Louise needed to stay and talk to the professors.

There was no other reason than that the atmosphere in the Great Hall was just too eerie, and Harry felt a little uneasy being stared at.

He and Ron walked out of the Great Hall, with Hermione hurrying behind them. As they left, the older students stepped aside, as if afraid of getting their hands on something unclean.

Harry had no idea what had happened; it was as if he had instantly gone from a revered savior to a pariah. Ron and Hermione offered no explanation, simply dragging him along, preparing to wait for him in Lewis's office.

Since Catherine returned to her office first, they didn't need to wait; they could simply go in and sit down.

Ron shoved Harry into a single sofa, his tone laced with accusation: "You're a Parseltongue? Why didn't you tell us?"

"I am... what am I?" Harry clearly didn't understand what Parsley was. He pointed at himself blankly, like a silly goose.

"Parasyte! You can talk to snakes!" Ron growled in a low voice, clearly not in a good mood.

It's not surprising; anyone who discovers their friend can talk to snakes would probably find it hard to accept for a while.

Aside from Ron and Hermione, probably no one else could be so tolerant of him, since they are the trio from Gryffindor.

As is well known, the structure of a triangle is the most robust.

"I understand." Harry was still carefree. "It's not a big deal, is it? It's not the first time I've done this—before I enrolled, I accidentally released a python at the zoo and it almost bit my cousin Dudley. It's a long story. The python told me that it wasn't from Brazil as the zoo's sign said; in fact, it had never been to Brazil."

"Of course... uh, I didn't do it on purpose. You know, I didn't even know what a wizard was back then."

"A giant python, telling you it's never been to Brazil?" Ron asked in a weak voice.

"What's wrong?" Harry asked nonchalantly. "It's nothing serious. I bet many of the people in there could do that..."

"Oh my god, we can't do that..." Ron clutched his head, looking utterly helpless. "This is no ordinary ability, Harry, this is terrible..."

Harry was a little annoyed. He said, slightly angrily, "What's wrong with you all? If I hadn't made that snake turn around and attack that person, I would have been the one who got hurt!"

Ron had just opened his mouth when Catherine interrupted him.

"Alright, Parsley isn't something only dark wizards can do. My mom and I both do it, so it's nothing special." Catherine was holding two cups of hot cocoa, followed by Christa, who was also holding two cups.

Catherine walked over and handed Hermione a cup of hot cocoa. Ron and Harry also received two cups from Christa. For a moment, the heat from the cups dispelled some of the gloom in Harry's heart.

"Have some hot cocoa, it'll cheer you up," Catherine said with a gentle smile to Harry. "Fourth—Potter, you should know this isn't anything to be sad about; it's just a misunderstanding caused by everyone not understanding."

You mean four-eyed, right?

Harry hesitated for a moment before saying, "But, everyone's attitude today..."

"Dumbledore is a Parseltongue too," Catherine said, dispelling Harry's doubts with a single sentence.

Harry's expression changed almost instantly from annoyed to his usual carefree, silly grin.

"Thank you, Miss Worley," Harry said with a silly grin.

"You should be thanking them," Catherine said bluntly. "Look at your two little friends, Red—Mr. Weasley, and Sea—Miss Granger…tsk, I don't even know how to describe them."

She forcefully suppressed the urge to call her "Red Squirrel" and "Miss Beaver".

She kept reminding herself that her status was different now, and a professor's wife couldn't be too casual...

Hearing Catherine's words, Hermione and Ron looked embarrassed. In the end, Hermione spoke first, "I'm sorry, Harry, we didn't mean it that way..."

"Well...we are, uh...I don't really know how to describe it, but I'm sorry." Ron stammered for a moment, then apologized frankly after Hermione stepped on his foot.

"It's nothing, a small matter," Harry said, seemingly unconcerned.

As they were chatting happily, the office door opened, and Louis walked in looking very pleased with himself.

Seeing that Catherine seemed to be getting along quite well with the animals, Louis wasn't surprised, having already inquired about the situation. He smiled and handed his coat to Christa, asking, "What are you talking about?"

"They were talking about Harry's Parseltongue." Catherine reached out to straighten his collar. "How did it go? What did the headmaster say?"

"What else can I say?" Louis chuckled. "Professor Dumbledore discovered that those upperclassmen were being impersonated, and used this to corner Fudge, forcing him to promise not to interfere in Hogwarts affairs anymore."

"The main problem is... he's being incredibly stupid. He actually pulled people from the Auror's strikers, as if he's afraid we won't have solid evidence, right?"

"Those classmates are all his loyal subordinates' children, so I'm not surprised at all." Louis patted Catherine's waist and asked, "By the way, you just had Christa send me a telepathic message, what happened?"

"Oh... Mom said she misses us and wants the two of us to come back for Christmas."

"Solanlian is really something, it's only been a few months..." Louis shrugged.

"However... Harry should be careful." Louis turned to Harry and said, "I overheard someone on the way here saying you're a descendant of Slytherin..."

"Huh? Me?" Harry pointed at himself, his mouth agape in disbelief.

How is that possible? How could he possibly be a descendant of Slytherin? That's not scientific.

"My last name is Potter, not Slytherin..." Harry said, sounding a little aggrieved.

"I can't possibly have the surname Slytherin, can I? My ancestors were German." Louis shrugged, speaking the obvious.

"Hmph, Germans!" Hermione wrinkled her nose cutely.

"Anyone who didn't know better would think you were from France, given your strong reaction to me." Louis was chuckling when Vitalie ducked and came out of the bedroom.

"Who's talking about the French?" Vitalie's gaze was unfriendly.

"They're saying I'm German," Louis shrugged, then kicked Vitalie's shin. "French girl, put your hands up for me?"

Vitali rolled her eyes at him and obediently raised her hands.

"Look, this is conquest," Louis chuckled, showing off to the three little ones.

The three little ones rolled their eyes in unison.

"It's getting late, so we won't stay any longer." Hermione secretly pinched Ron, who was still grinning foolishly, and pulled Harry to his feet. "Goodnight, Louise, Miss Wallace, and Miss Helix."

"What about me?" Christa asked, looking a little sad that the three of them had forgotten her.

"You too, Christa," Hermione waved, showing her large teeth. "Goodbye."

After the three little ones left the office, Christa took out the custom-made little house for Tom and Jerry from her "jumbo" pocket. It was a three-story mansion with a seamless stretching charm inside, and it was a top-notch choice both from the outside and inside.

Tom and Jerry cheered and dashed into the three-story cat villa like a whirlwind.

"It's snowing," Catherine remarked casually, watching the snowflakes fall outside the window.

"Yes, it's that time of year again for white albums..." Louis said with a hint of wistfulness.

"A white album?" Catherine asked, puzzled.

"Hmm." Louis solemnly explained to her, "It's a song released six years ago by the famous Japanese singer Yuki Morikawa... I quite like it, and I even learned the sheet music. Would you like to listen to it?"

"Okay." Catherine readily sat down at Louis's desk.

Louis straightened his clothes slightly, sat down at the piano with an air of importance, tapped twice as if testing the sound, and then, under the watchful eyes of Catherine and the other two women, smoothly finished playing the piece "White Album".

"It sounds beautiful," Vitalie exclaimed, then asked hesitantly, "But...why do I feel a little stomachache?"

Louis thought to himself, "That's why you have a stomachache..."

In the end, he never explained the story behind "White Album" to the three of them...

The main problem was that the story was long, convoluted, and stomach-churning; Louis knew he had a sensitive stomach and couldn't handle the torture.

A strong north wind blew all night, and when I woke up the next day, I looked out the window on the third floor and saw that the whole world had been transformed into a silver-clad wonderland.

Occasionally, a few owls flit about; these birds of prey are not particularly afraid of the cold. Moreover, thanks to the North Atlantic Current, the temperature in the Scottish Highlands rarely drops below minus ten degrees Celsius, even at its coldest.

Louis, lying in bed, didn't really want to get up. With such heavy snow today, the herbalism class was probably canceled. Sure enough, Draco sent a message to Christa saying that today's herbalism class was canceled.

With nothing much to do, Louis decided to stay in bed a few more minutes.

Most importantly, his senior's fragrant and soft body was the best pillow in the world, and he was reluctant to let go of her.

But eventually, they had to eat, so after resting for a while, Louis was called by his classmates to build a snowman.

It's so annoying! A bunch of single people...

But he still obediently left the office...

Simply put, Catherine's eyes were filled with longing when it came to building a snowman...

In fact, Dumbledore, who was bored out of his mind, even canceled all classes for the day, citing the heavy snowfall as the reason.

But what does this heavy snow have to do with you having class indoors, you jerk?

But none of the students objected—as long as there were no classes, the students would definitely think it was a good thing, so why would they object, unless they were the most hardworking and ambitious students.

Headmaster Dumbledore even proposed a snowman-building competition, judged that evening—and a snowball fight between the colleges the following day.

This completely ignited the students' enthusiasm, especially Catherine, who looked at Louis with eyes practically shining, her eyes clearly saying, "Let's go build a snowman too."

Of course, building a snowman requires two lively companions. Louis woke up Tom and Jerry, put Jerry on his shoulders, and led his whole family out of the castle.
