I'm the King of Curry at Hogwarts

Chapter 152 Replenishing Magic Power

Chapter 152 Replenishing Magic (literal meaning)

Louis was at a loss for words regarding Solanlian's carelessness.

Soon Catherine came out and called him to take a shower. When he came out, the dining table was already full of a sumptuous Christmas dinner.

While Solanian wasn't looking, Louis silently mouthed the famous "grouse" to Catherine.

Then I got stepped on.

For families like the Worleys, Christmas is just a formality; you can't expect wizards to believe in God—hundreds of years ago, wizards and the church were sworn enemies.

So there's nothing worth praying for before meals.

The same was true of the Louis family; from Louis the Elder to Diana, no one truly believed in God.

The letter is only meant for ordinary people.

Louis had heard his grandfather complain more than once at Christmas that Christmas could be renamed the British New Year, or even Seres Niu Ye if that didn't work, but each time Louis would disapprove of his grandfather's idea with a displeased look.

Actually, I don't object to calling him Louis the Englishman, I just disagree with calling him Seres the Niu Ye.

The reason... was that he felt it was a bit of a mismatch.

Of course, the old man was just grumbling when he was bored; he didn't really want to give Christmas a new name in England.

It was just a family gathering for a meal, so there wasn't much to say; we just got to eat.

Louis finally understood Ron's joy. With a roasted tomato skewered on a fork in his left hand and a large chicken leg on a knife in his other hand, he sat arrogantly in his chair, leaving Solanlian and Catherine stunned.

"Why are you looking at me?" Louis asked, his words muffled.

The two of them didn't speak, but continued to stare at him intently until he felt so uncomfortable that he put down the food in his hands.

"Okay, last time I went to the Weasleys' house, didn't you say I was too reserved at your house...?" Louis wiped his mouth, seamlessly switching to a refined and elegant demeanor.

"I love you no matter what." Catherine kindly reached out and peeled the tomato skin off Louis's mouth. "Eat slowly, no one will take it from you at home."

Louis said nothing, but pointed to the other side.

Solanlian and Catherine turned their heads and happened to see Christa stuff a whole roasted lamb leg into her mouth—no one knew how she did it, but it just went in. When she took it out, the meat was gone, leaving only two dry lamb bones.

Seeing that all three of their eyes were focused on her, Christa, whose mouth was puffed out like a hamster's, gave an embarrassed look and began to chew with a rustling sound.

Not only Christa, but also Jerry beside her. The good-for-nothing picked up an orange and somehow stuffed it into his mouth, causing the mouse to swell up into the shape of an orange. Tom, with his paw in his mouth, looked terrified.

He grabbed Jerry's tail and shook it, but he still couldn't shake the orange out. Finally, Christa couldn't stand it anymore, so she flicked her finger, and the orange flew out like a cannonball, shattering the glass and continuing its momentum into the sky, eventually turning into a bright starlight and disappearing without a trace.

"Okay, whatever." Louis shrugged, reminded Christa to take it easy before continuing his battle.

If Christa were allowed to eat as much as she wanted, it would take all the house-elves at Hogwarts to satisfy her.

As for why Louis knew so accurately... it's because once Christa slept for half a month, and when she woke up it wasn't mealtime, so Louis took her to the kitchen to check. As a result, Aslo was exhausted before Christa could even eat about 80% full.

From then on, Christa became a legendary figure in Hogwarts kitchens.

Solanlian stood up, went into the kitchen, and came out a moment later with a plate of pastries: "Would you like some dessert? A soufflé is just right."

"No, we should only eat until we're 80% full." Louise finally resisted the temptation of the food, while Tom and Jerry slumped to the side, their faces showing no desire to eat.

They ate way too much.

But Christa was very accommodating; she devoured the rest of the food, leaving not even a crumb of bread. Solanlian watched with a satisfied smile, nodding repeatedly.

This human-shaped food waste disposal machine is absolutely amazing.

"Let's go sing Christmas carols," Catherine suggested, giving Louis, who was still lost in thought, a gentle nudge.

Louis shook his head: "I don't want to go right now, I'm a bit too full."

Tom and Jerry nodded in agreement with his gesture.

"Come on, what kind of holiday is it if we don't sing Christmas carols?"

Catherine's voice was cloying, but Louis remained unmoved.

"British New Year?" he asked, mimicking his grandfather's tone, only to receive a light slap on his leg from Solanlian.

"Get up!" Solanlian pulled him up. "Holidays are for celebrating, no slacking off!"

They also gave everyone a Christmas hat, including Tom and Jerry. The hats were very fitting, showing that Sollian had put a lot of thought into it.

The family enjoyed themselves until late at night before finally parting ways and returning to their rooms to rest.

This time, Solanlian didn't tease the two children, so Louis slept soundly.

When he woke up the next morning, he was still a little unaccustomed to the sense of calm that nothing had happened.

This is so unlike Solanlian's style.

Since his grandfather had gone abroad for another trip, Louis didn't plan to go home for the holidays. Getting back to school to deal with the basilisk was the priority.

Catherine woke up early and left a message for him from Solanlian saying that she had already brought Christa and the other two back to school, and told him to come back as soon as he got up.

"Have breakfast before you go." Solanlian was wearing a loose white shirt, her hair casually tied up, looking like she was at home.

"Okay, what's for breakfast?" Louis asked expectantly, as he was indeed a bit hungry after sleeping all night.

"Toast, eggs, and bacon," Solanlian said, bringing him a simple but homely breakfast.

We recently got a new TV at home. According to Solarian, it's good to have more entertainment programs. It's much better than staying at home all day studying magic, and it also lets you learn about the Muggle world.

While Louis was eating, she sat on the sofa with her legs casually crossed, her slippers dangling from her toes.

Louis caught a glimpse of Solanlian's movements out of the corner of his eye, and he instinctively looked over, his eyes glued to her.

Two pink legs crossed, the rounded, delicate thighs and straight, slender calves creating a striking sight. Louis noticed that Solanlian seemed to be wearing flesh-colored stockings, which appeared to have a slightly divine sheen.

Solanlian noticed the boy's gaze. She wasn't angry or shy. Instead, she smiled and leaned closer to him, assuming a position that made it easier for him to get a full view.

Louis quickly averted his gaze, thinking, "Oh dear, I can't look anymore..."

If we keep looking, it'll be too rough.

"Why aren't you watching anymore?" Solanlian's sweet voice rang in his ear. He didn't know when, but she had already stood up and come to Louis's side.

"What?" Louis was about to play dumb.

"Weren't you watching so intently just now? Why are you acting like a little darling now?" Solanlian pulled over a chair and sat down next to Louis.

Louis froze, unsure if Solanlian was going to punish him. He stopped eating, staring awkwardly at his hands on the table. The room was silent. Solanlian's two legs, encased in flesh-colored stockings, rubbed together softly, making a rustling sound.

But it's not quite the same; in short, the voice sounds very delicate and smooth.

"You're being a little dishonest, little deer." Sollian breathed softly, took Louis's hand from the table, and placed it on her thigh.

Louis paused for a moment, then withdrew his hand as if he had been electrocuted.

No, this is my dearest sister Lian...

"Ahem..." Louis quickly stood up, then bowed sharply under Solanlian's teasing gaze. "Um, Sister Lianlian, I think I have to go..."

"What's the rush?" Solanlian said meaningfully, "I'm not a poisonous snake, I won't eat you."

Louis thought to himself, "But I'm from Slytherin! I'm a snake! Aren't you Hufflepuff badgers supposed to eat snakes?"

Of course, he couldn't say it like that, so he could only laugh awkwardly and prepare to run away.

Unexpectedly, Solanlian tugged at him, causing him to lose his balance and fall backward into her arms.

"What...what are you going to do..." Louis was so shocked that his voice trembled.

Solanlian lifted him up by his armpits and whispered in his ear, "It's nothing, just checking your reaction."

As he spoke, Louis, seemingly relieved or regretful, pushed him back into his seat.

Louise is a little numb. What exactly do you want to do, sis?

"There's something I wanted to tell you," Solanlian chuckled, seeing him looking like a clueless goose. "Your aunt is in England and wants to see you properly..."

"Oh, my aunt? I thought something serious had happened." Louis breathed a sigh of relief, then his voice rose eight octaves: "Aunt? My aunt??? When did I suddenly have an aunt?"

No sooner had she finished speaking than she heard a melodious voice coming from behind her.

"You little brat, you're the one who popped up here!"

Louis turned around and saw a stunningly beautiful Eastern woman in her early twenties. Her snow-white dress could not conceal her exquisite figure, and a silver-white butterfly was tucked into her waist-length black hair. In the morning sunlight, she looked radiant and fairy-like.

"Is this our rascal nephew?" the woman said, reaching out with both hands to pinch Louis's cheeks, pulling them back and forth as if she were manipulating a lump of clay.

"Yes... Speaking of which, you've never come to England to see your nephew in all these years." Solanlian rolled her eyes helplessly.

"This is your aunt, Ziyan," Solanlian introduced to Louis, who was still in shock.

"Ziyan?" Louis didn't react for a moment, then almost burst out laughing.

According to British custom, when addressing a Seres person, the surname comes first and the given name comes last. Could it be... that this aunt's name is Swallow?

Swallow, how can I live without you...

Thinking of this famous joke, Louis couldn't help but laugh out loud.

"Is my name that funny?" Aunt's expression was clearly unfriendly. Louis, with his sharp eyes, noticed the abnormal flush on her face.

Just as he predicted, his aunt started coughing as soon as she finished speaking.

Louis quickly went over and gently patted Ziyan's back. Once she stopped coughing, he apologized, "I'm sorry, Auntie, I... Goose, I thought your name was Swallow... Haha..."

At this point, he couldn't help but burst out laughing, then quickly stopped himself, his forehead veins bulging as he tried to hold it in.

"Laugh, laugh, I knew it was because of this, you little rascal." Ziyan was quite easygoing. After Louis finally calmed down, she slowly explained to him, "Lian's Chinese is very good. She doesn't address Seres people by their surnames like ordinary British people do."

"So that means..." Louis suddenly realized.

"My surname is Ye." Ye Ziyan suddenly shattered Louis's illusion.

"So, my mom's name is Ye Ziyu?" Louis asked, drawing inferences from one instance to another.

"No, your mother's surname is Zi, and her given name is Yu." Ye Ziyan gently stroked the back of Louis's head. "The three of us are... well, sworn sisters. We are not related by blood. The eldest sister is Lian, the second sister is your mother, and the youngest sister is me."

"Oh." Louis suddenly realized, then looked at Solanlian and Ye Ziyan, and blurted out a sentence that was really asking for trouble.

"But Auntie, why do you look so much younger than Sister Lian?"

Solanlian's smile immediately turned kind, and her words, like the cold wind of a benevolent father, froze Paul... Louis's little heart.

"Oh? Really? Do you think I'm that old?" Her hand was already gripping Louis's ear; if Louis said the wrong thing, he could lose that ear.

Perfect for the two sisters to have with their drinks tonight!

"Alright, Lian, don't scare him anymore." Ye Ziyan quickly rescued Louis from Solan Lian's clutches and held him in her arms.

A faint scent of gardenias wafted from Ye Ziyan, constantly tickling Louis's nose.

Ye Ziyan was also somewhat stunned. It seemed that Louis possessed some kind of magical power that was repairing her nearly depleted spiritual energy.

"Alright, are you going to keep hugging him forever?" Solanlian teased, "You were just as clingy to Emma back then, why aren't you letting her off the hook now that it's her son? Are you trying to steal Mr. Deer from my Catherine?"

Ye Ziyan then released Louis with a slight blush on her cheeks and said softly, "Liane, he possesses a mysterious power that can repair my damaged spiritual essence..."

"Really?" Solanlian put on a serious expression. This was a big deal and could not be taken lightly.

"Hmm." Ye Ziyan said, extending her finger and pointing vaguely ahead.

A glimmer of starlight burst forth from between her slender, pale fingers, startling Solanlian.

Solanlian was first surprised, then overjoyed.

"You...you can actually cast the spell again!" she exclaimed with ecstasy.

As her voice faded, the starlight dimmed.

"I'd say, for now, it's possible." Ye Ziyan's eyes were slightly closed, her long eyelashes trembling gently. After a long while, she said with a wry smile, "It's like charging; it can only last for a very short time..."

Louis understood too. Goodness, it means I'm the power source, the kind that specifically replenishes Ye Ziyan's mana?
