I'm the King of Curry at Hogwarts
Chapter 310, Project 3
Spring turned to summer, and the days flew by. After numerous visits and discussions from the magical communities of various countries, Old Europe had been integrated by Louis.
At least in terms of interests, everyone still shares common goals.
It's not that no one from the magical world of the US came, but Louis said he was glad they could come, but he didn't like their attitude.
That arrogant attitude, ingrained to the core, is truly...
It truly is a country without history; the lack of cultural depth is ingrained in its very bones.
What kind of environment shapes what kind of people? Things raised in places of exile... well, let's not talk about it.
Louis has already begun to meticulously plan how to dismantle the US military, perhaps starting with their magical world.
The final exams proceeded as scheduled, but Catherine, Harry, and Cedric, being participants in the competition, were exempt from taking them. Louis, of course, was also exempt, having received special permission from Professor Dumbledore.
Harry has recently run into trouble as the scar on his forehead is getting more and more painful. He originally thought that learning how to perform a brain block surgery would alleviate the pain, but it only provided relief for about half a year.
"I think it's possible that Voldemort's power has become stronger," Louis said to Catherine privately. He was also concerned about Harry, but didn't know how to help him.
A senior expert at St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Injuries said that Potter's brain may have been affected by the magic of the Mystic, and his insistence that the scar is still painful undoubtedly indicates that his mind is quite confused.
"He might be faking it," a magic injury expert from the US said mercilessly. "This child, who has received so much attention since childhood, might be pretending to be in great pain to get even more attention..."
But the Daily Prophet doesn't see it that way. They criticized the expert's shameless behavior and, intentionally or unintentionally, extended it to the entire American magical community.
In truth, this is no longer a personal grudge; Louis also intends to use this opportunity to launch an attack on the American magical community.
In addition, he began ordering the vampire clans to march into America to hunt down wizards, specifically targeting members of the Magical Congress.
Then, news spread from who-knows-where that Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore had been carefully covering up some disturbing things about Harry, such as Potter being a Parseltongue.
"Two years ago, many students were attacked, and most people believed Potter was behind it all because they witnessed him angrily releasing a snake to bite a boy in the dueling club," an unnamed person told a reporter from the New York Elf newspaper. "But all of this was covered up by Headmaster Albus Dumbledore and his loyal henchman Louis Mountbatten. Besides, Potter befriended werewolves and giants, and we think he believed that power would make him do anything..."
The way he's saying this is practically making him the next Voldemort's successor.
Parsley has always been considered dark magic. In fact, the most famous Parsley speaker of our time was Voldemort himself. An unnamed member of the Defense Against the Dark Arts said that he believes any wizard who speaks Parsley "should be investigated." He is personally very suspicious of people who can talk to snakes because he believes that snakes often appear in the most malevolent dark magic and have historically been associated with bad people. Similarly, people who associate with evil creatures such as werewolves and giants must be violent.
Albus Dumbledore should consider whether it is appropriate to allow such a boy to participate in the Triwizard Tournament. Some worry that Potter might use dark magic out of eagerness to win, and others are watching closely to see if Albus Dumbledore has the idea of turning the entire wizarding world into his own personal domain. Perhaps bringing Potter to the forefront is just the beginning of his testing the waters.
In addition, the newspaper also mentioned that the third competition event will be held tonight.
"Nonsense! Isn't this utter nonsense?" Professor McGonagall was furious as she looked at the absurd report in the New York Elf Newspaper. The newspaper was not only slandering Dumbledore, but also throwing dirty water on the innocent child Harry.
Judging from the current situation, they intend to use the criticism of Harry to extend the criticism to Dumbledore.
"This is a very clear signal; they are putting pressure on us, and this is one way they are doing it." Louis wasn't under much pressure; after all, it was just a matter of being called "Dumbledore's loyal lackey," and it wasn't like he was going to lose anything.
This method is so familiar, it's obvious we were taught by the same master.
Louis wasn't worried about how much of an impact this pressure would have; after all, he wouldn't be the one in pain in a couple of days.
Everyone says cats have nine lives, but I wonder how many lives these rotten apples in the American Magic Congress have.
"Then what should we do?" Professor McGonagall looked at Professor Dumbledore, wanting him to come up with a concrete plan to deal with the situation.
Dumbledore shrugged and winked playfully. "I don't really care. I'm getting old, and my skin has gotten thicker. Let them say a few words, it won't hurt me."
"The truth will out, and the lie will become the truth." Louis said with a smile, "Anyway, Harry doesn't know any dark magic. As far as I know, that kid is a natural master of disarming charms. I have no doubt that his disarming charm is as powerful as shattering to pieces—or even Avada Kedavra."
He's right, after all, he's the man who can use Exorcism weapons to clash with Avada Kedavra.
"Minerva, perhaps what you should be most concerned about right now is Harry's mental state," Dumbledore said with a smile. "I suggest you inform him that today is the day of the third project, and he shouldn't forget the important things because of some trivial matter in the newspapers."
"You two... sigh..." Professor McGonagall sighed, indicating that she had nothing to say to these two shameless foxes, one big and one small. She glared at Louis and turned to leave the principal's office.
After Professor McGonagall left, Dumbledore looked up at Lewis and said solemnly, "I know it's annoying to hear the flies buzzing around, but you also need to be careful with your methods."
"They've come to bully us right on our doorstep, how am I supposed to be careful?" Louis chuckled. "Am I supposed to kneel down and beg for their forgiveness, my dear professor?"
"Oh, you've misunderstood me." Dumbledore smiled as he poured Louis a glass of lemonade. "I just wanted to suggest that you don't let the fire spread to Europe."
"Look at what you're saying, I'm not Voldemort who can't distinguish friend from foe." Louis gave Dumbledore a resentful look, thinking to himself, "What do you think I am, old man..."
He never cultivated good deeds in his life, only loved killing and arson?
That's not something I, Louis, would do!
Alas, the tide is rising on the Thames, and only today do I realize who I truly am!
……
As a champion in the Triwizard Tournament, Harry was exempt from final exams. He would sit at the back of the classroom during each exam, flipping through books to learn new spells and cramming on spell knowledge—how to deal with various spells.
He is currently sitting in the auditorium having a meal.
"The History of Magic exam starts in ten minutes, Harry," Ron whispered. "You're a champion, you don't need to take the exam, but I'm doomed..."
Hermione glanced at him and snorted, "Hmph, if you could just study a little harder... But history of magic isn't a very important subject, so it doesn't really matter what score you get."
Harry looked up, about to say something, when he saw Professor McGonagall walking towards them along the Gryffindor table.
"Potter, warriors, gather in the meeting room next to the Great Hall after breakfast," Professor McGonagall said.
"But the match doesn't start until tonight!" Harry was a little nervous, and in his haste, he spilled scrambled eggs on himself. He thought he had misremembered the time.
"I know, Potter," Professor McGonagall said gently. "The warriors' families have been invited to watch the final match; you can meet them."
After saying that, Professor McGonagall walked away, and Harry stared blankly at her retreating figure.
"Uh, she doesn't think the Dursleys will come, does she?" he asked Ron blankly.
"To be honest, I don't know," Ron said honestly. "Harry, I have to hurry, I'll be late for the exam... See you later!"
After Ron finished speaking, he grabbed a pen and paper and rushed out of the auditorium.
Harry finished breakfast in the increasingly quiet Great Hall. He saw Fleur Delacour rise from her Ravenclaw table and walk into the meeting room with Cedric. A little while later, Krum also lazily went in.
Harry remained seated; he really didn't want to go. He had no relatives—no relatives willing to risk their lives for him. But just as he stood up, intending to go to the library to study some spells anyway, the meeting room door opened, and Cedric poked his head out. "Harry, come on, they're waiting for you!"
Harry stood up, his face full of confusion. Something was wrong. How could this be? Impossible, absolutely impossible! The Dursleys couldn't possibly be here.
He walked through the hall, pushed open the door to the conference room, where Cedric and his parents stood by the door. Viktor Krum was in a corner of the room speaking rapidly in Bulgarian with his dark-haired parents; he definitely looked like his father, given their identical hooked noses.
Meanwhile, Fleur was chattering away in French with her mother, while her little sister Gabrielle held her mother's hand. She waved to Harry, who waved back and grinned.
Vasily was speaking rapidly in Russian with his Russian father, and Marilyn Chabanor was chatting happily with her parents.
Then he saw Aunt Molly and Bill standing in front of the fireplace, smiling at him.
"You didn't expect that, did you!" Aunt Molly exclaimed enthusiastically. "We wanted to come watch your match, Harry!"
Harry greeted her with a beaming smile, and Aunt Molly bent down and kissed his cheek.
"Hey, how are you?" Bill smiled and shook hands with Harry. "Charlie wanted to come too, but he couldn't get away. He said your fight with the Norwegian Spinosaurus was amazing, absolutely incredible. He'll definitely have a good chat with you when he comes home for summer vacation. He's the biggest Quidditch fan."
Harry noticed Fleur Delacour looking at Bill with interest over his mother's shoulder, and it was clear that she didn't dislike the long hair and the fanged earrings at all.
"You're so kind," Harry said softly to Mrs. Weasley. "I was thinking the same thing, Dursley..."
"Hmm." Mrs. Weasley pouted. She always avoided criticizing the Dursleys in front of Harry, but her eyes would blaze whenever she heard their names.
"It's good to be back," Bill said, looking around the conference room. "I haven't seen this place in five years. Is the portrait of that Mad Knight still there, Sir Cadogan?"
"Oh, he's still here," Harry said. "I ran into Sir Cadogan last year."
"Where is the fat lady?" Bill asked.
"I don't know," Harry replied, somewhat bewildered.
Just then, Louis came in. He peeked around and, not finding Catherine or Solarian, walked over to Harry, scratching his head as he greeted them, "Hello, Aunt Molly, and Bill."
"Oh, Louis." Aunt Molly hugged Louis happily, then pinched his cheek after letting go. "Long time no see, you seem to have grown taller again."
"They've been getting a lot of nutrition lately, so they're growing fast..." Louis scratched his head and chuckled. "Where are Catherine and Solanlian? I can't find them."
Aunt Molly pointed to the small house over there and said, "Solanlian is inside. Catherine hasn't arrived yet. Would you like to go check on her?"
"Huh? Where's Catherine?" Louis asked, puzzled. He thought back carefully and realized that Catherine hadn't gotten up when he woke up that morning.
As he spoke, he walked towards the small house over there.
Pushing open the door, I found Solanlian sitting inside, lost in thought.
"Liane," Louis greeted her, "Why are you here so early? What's Catherine up to?"
"I have no idea where that heartless daughter went." Solanian sighed heavily, beckoning Louis over.
Louis walked over and sat down beside her, naturally putting his arm around her shoulder, and reassured her, "Don't worry, Lian, Catherine must have been held up by something. Shall we go find her now?"
"No need, just wait here for a while." Solanlian tilted her head, looked at Louis, and reached out to flick his Adam's apple. "But you little rascal, you've been causing quite a stir lately."
"Hey, I'm doing this for the sake of the wizarding world," Louis said with a smile. "Serving the people has always been my principle."
Solanlian snorted, raised her eyebrows slightly, rested her head on her arm, looked Louis up and down, and poked him with her small hand: "You're just full of bragging. Don't make Emma and me worry about you every day."
"Okay, Sister Lian." Louise smiled mischievously, stood up, and gave Solan Lian a military salute.
Solanlian covered her mouth and chuckled. Just as she was about to say something more, the door opened and Catherine walked in.
