I'm the King of Curry at Hogwarts

Chapter 320 Conversation in the Principal's Office

Chapter 320 Conversation in the Principal's Office

Catherine meant that evil deeds last a thousand years, so she wasn't worried about the safety of that little rascal Louis at all.

Of course, that was just what she said. Just now, when she saw Harry and the others come back, Catherine was almost on her broomstick to go look for them.

Louis patted Catherine on the side and asked, "How long have they been gone?"

"Look at their backs," Catherine said, pointing to the backs of Dumbledore and his companions in the distance.

Louis nodded, then raised his hand to wave to the cheering crowd around him, and said in a low voice, "Come with me to the principal's office first...it's something serious."

"Is it about Voldemort's resurrection?" Catherine asked疑惑地.

"Of course... How did you know?" Louis asked in surprise.

"How could I not know?" Catherine rolled her eyes at him and replied in a low voice, "When Harry came back, he was shouting that Voldemort was back, Voldemort was back. I saw that Fudge looked very bad. He had already left the arena... Professor Dumbledore wanted to know what had happened to Harry, so he took him back to the Headmaster's office first. As for the Triwizard Tournament champion..."

At this point, Catherine's nonchalant expression surprised Louis: "The Gryffindors took it, and look how happy they are, humph..."

Despite her words, Catherine did not show any displeasure.

"You've grown up, baby." Louis smiled and kissed her on the cheek.

As a result, he received a kick from Catherine.

"I was going to try to comfort you, but since you're so easygoing, never mind." Louis shrugged nonchalantly, meeting Catherine's cold gaze with a quick and decisive change of heart: "But since I'm your man, let's go on vacation this summer."

Catherine's gaze shifted from the depths of winter to the height of summer in an instant.

The arrogant creature snorted, indicating its satisfaction.

Just then, the two third wheels ran over, Ron shouting, "Louis, Louis!"

He ran over here, breathless, followed by Hermione... oh, and Draco.

"Is Voldemort really back, Louise?" Hermione asked worriedly. "Harry doesn't seem to be in good spirits. Voldemort must have been tormenting him. Good heavens... he's still so young..."

"He's back, but it's nothing serious. I have something to discuss with Professor Dumbledore." Louis then looked at Draco. "Draco, use an owl to send a message to Uncle Lucius. Tell him to bring Aunt Narcissa to Hogwarts to find me as soon as possible! Be quick!"

"Understood!" Draco replied seriously, then turned and ran off in a flash.

Louis then looked at Ron and Hermione: "I won't go into the details, you'll have to hear it again later anyway. Let's go... let's go to the headmaster's office and hear what Harry has to say."

"Um."

……

Louis pushed open the door to the headmaster's office. Inside were only Dumbledore, the four heads of the household, Sirius Black, and Emma. Louis's lips twitched. It seemed his mother truly had confidence in him, not even wanting to wait—definitely his mother.

Dumbledore sat behind his desk, watching Harry. Harry's gaze darted away, and Louis knew that Dumbledore was about to begin questioning Harry, demanding that he tell everything that had happened that day.

"I want to know, Harry, what happened after you touched the Portkey in the maze?" Dumbledore's intense gaze, hidden behind his half-moon spectacles, put considerable pressure on Harry. Harry was actually quite tired and wanted to go back to sleep, so he was reluctant to answer Dumbledore's question.

"We can talk again tomorrow morning, okay, Dumbledore?" Sirius said in a hoarse voice. He placed a hand on Harry's shoulder. "Let him sleep. Let him get some rest; the boy is very tired..."

Harry felt a surge of gratitude towards Sirius, but Dumbledore seemed not to hear him. He leaned towards Harry, who reluctantly looked up and gazed into those blue eyes.

“If I thought,” Dumbledore said gently, “that it would be good for you to fall asleep through hypnosis, allowing you to temporarily forget everything that happened tonight, I would do so… But I know better than you that temporarily numbing the pain will only make it hurt more when you finally feel it. The courage and fearlessness you have shown far exceeded my expectations of you.”

"I demand that you show your courage once again, and I demand that you tell us everything that has happened." Dumbledore's voice was gentle, yet firm and authoritative.

Louis understood what he meant; it was simply that a short, sharp pain is worse than a long, drawn-out one.

The phoenix let out a soft, trembling cry, and it trembled slightly in the air. Harry felt as if a drop of hot liquid slid down his throat and into his stomach, making him feel warm and giving him strength and courage.

Then, the phoenix fluttered down to Harry's lap, radiating light and warmth, dispelling the gloom in Harry's heart.

Harry took a deep breath, touched the phoenix on his knee with one hand, and began to recount his experience. As he spoke, everything that had happened that night flashed before his eyes like a movie; he saw the potion that had brought Voldemort back to life, its surface sparkling; he saw the Death Eaters Apparate, suddenly appearing among the graves around them; he saw Voldemort's wand glowing emerald green, forcing him into a duel like a cat playing with a mouse.

A couple of times, Sirius made a sound, as if trying to say something, his hand still tightly gripping Harry's shoulder, but Dumbledore raised a hand to stop him. Lewis also went over and removed Sirius's hand from Harry's shoulder, and Ron and Hermione joined in, standing on either side of Harry. This made Harry feel genuinely warm and very fortunate, because everything is difficult at the beginning, and now that they had started talking, it would be much easier to continue.

He even felt a sense of relief, as if something harmful was being slowly drawn away from him. He mustered all his willpower to continue speaking, but he felt that once he finished, he would feel much more at ease.

Sirius let out an excited shout when Harry recounted how Wormtail stabbed his arm with a dagger.

"What are you barking like a dog?" Snape glanced coldly at Sirius, annoyed by his overreaction.

Sirius didn't say anything, but gave Snape the middle finger. He was so concerned about Harry that he couldn't help but cry out when Harry talked about danger.

Dumbledore jumped to his feet, so quickly that it startled Harry. He walked around the table and told Harry to hold out his arm. Harry showed them his torn robes and the wound beneath.

"He said that using my blood would be more effective than using anyone else's, and would make him stronger," Harry told Dumbledore without reservation. "He said he wanted that protective power—the power my mother left in me—he wanted to have too."

"He was right. When he touched me again later, he wasn't hurt. He touched my face." Harry's expression turned somewhat downcast as he said this, as if he felt a sense of loss.

For a fleeting moment, Harry thought he saw a glimmer of joy in Dumbledore's eyes. But Harry quickly concluded that he must have been seeing things, because when Dumbledore returned to his chair behind his desk, he looked as old and tired as Harry always had.

“Very good,” he said, sitting down again. “Voldemort has overcome that extraordinary obstacle. Harry, please continue.”

Harry continued, recounting how Voldemort emerged from the cauldron and telling them what he remembered Voldemort saying to the Death Eaters. Then he described how he had exchanged insults with Voldemort, and everyone's expressions became quite interesting when Harry mentioned that he had insulted Voldemort's father as a Muggle.

"I have to say, even though I was once a Muggle myself, I still felt really good." Hermione patted Harry on the shoulder: "You did the right thing, except... hahaha... it was a bit sarcastic. I bet Voldemort's expression at the time was priceless."

"Ah, yes." Harry recalled Voldemort's expression at the time and chuckled. "You wouldn't believe it, Voldemort looked like he wanted to eat me alive... But I'm not worried. No matter what, he won't let me go. I offended him a long time ago when I was a kid, so cursing at him a couple more times isn't a big deal."

"As the saying goes, 'The more debts you have, the less you worry; the more lice you have, the less they itch,' right?" Ron chuckled.

"You've really let magic defeat magic," Louis chuckled. He knew Harry's words were always sharp, but he hadn't expected them to be this...sharp. "What should I call this? Simple foul language, ultimate enjoyment?"

"Oh my god, stop talking about it..." Harry covered his face in embarrassment. "I actually regret it a bit. What if he had really gotten angry and killed me with a spell?"

"That's unlikely, you know Harry," Hermione teased. "Well-mannered children are generally taught 'don't play with food' from a young age, but Voldemort clearly wasn't well-mannered."

"Actually, we even had a duel." Harry laughed for a moment, then continued, "His spells were very strong... I only escaped harm by hiding behind a tombstone. If Louis and the other two had arrived even a little later, I probably wouldn't be alive..."

As he spoke, Harry gave Snape a thumbs-up: "Professor, your spells are really cool."

He was referring to the Avada Kedavra curse Snape threw at Voldemort before leaving. It seems Snape has already revealed his hand; he's no longer pretending. "I'm Dumbledore's mole, I'm laying my cards on the table..."

Snape grunted and gave Harry a very aloof look.

Lewis, who knew the professor's personality well, knew that Snape was quite satisfied, but troubled by his sharp tongue and tsundere nature...

He shuddered. Speaking of sharp-tongued, arrogant types, he felt that the professor's character was similar to his wife's. He looked back at the smiling Catherine and secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

Thankfully, my wife is very beautiful, and she's no longer the sarcastic and arrogant type.

"The news of Voldemort's return will probably cause a huge uproar in the British wizarding world," Harry rubbed his forehead. "I think they're going to be in for a couple of days, and Professor Dumbledore is probably in the same boat..."

"Oh, not quite." Professor Dumbledore smiled. "Contrary to your guess, I think this matter will be suppressed."

"Why?" Harry asked, dumbfounded. "Oh, you mean Fudge? He seemed to be in a hurry and didn't believe Voldemort was back. You mean he'll censor the news reports?"

"Oh, poor Harry," Louis said with a chuckle. "First of all, Fudge doesn't disbelieve, he just won't believe it... Let's put it this way, if Voldemort were to resurrect during his term, it would be questionable whether he could continue as Minister of Magic... Secondly, news that's being censored won't happen here."

"Hmm?" Hermione asked疑惑地, "How could he possibly suppress the news of Voldemort's return if he didn't censor the newspapers?"

"You wouldn't know this, Hermione," Louise said with a light laugh. "Banning is a method used only in the Middle Ages. We usually decide not to disclose information after democratic deliberation..."

Hermione couldn't catch her breath and almost choked on it.

"Don't look at me like that. That's how it really works in the Muggle world," Louis chuckled. "Fairy tales are just stories to be heard, don't take them seriously..."

Hermione didn't want to believe what Louis said, but given Louis's status, he did know deeper secrets. For a moment, she didn't know how to refute Louis, so she could only sit there silently.

"Everyone needs to know that Voldemort has returned, right?" Ron said indignantly.

“That’s not necessary,” Dumbledore set the tone first. “Some things aren’t as simple as you think, Ron. Personally, I would like this matter to be widely publicized, but…”

"But we need to do something else first, like studying Voldemort's new ally," Louis said, turning his gaze to Dumbledore.

Dumbledore immediately sat up straight, knowing that Louis would never speak without reason.

"But before that, Harry should rest." Louis smiled and turned to Harry. "You've been through too much tonight. You should go back and get some rest, take a bath, and relieve your fatigue."

Harry suddenly realized that Fawkes had flown off his lap. The phoenix landed on the floor with a thud, pressing its beautiful head against Harry's injured leg. Large, clear tears welled up in its eyes and fell onto the scratches on his leg. The pain vanished instantly, and his skin healed in a flash, leaving his leg perfectly fine.

"I'm fine, Louise," Harry said quickly. "I'd also like to know about Voldemort."
