Chapter 55 Christmas (Part 1) - Seeking Investment and Further Reading

George and Fred ended up with bruises and black eyes, and had to stop at the medical wing to see Mrs. Pomfrey for treatment. β–²Search on πΊπ‘œπ‘œπ‘”π‘™π‘’ for π‘ π‘‘π‘œ520.π‘π‘œπ‘šβ–²

Uppercut, run! You're going to destroy the world!

****, that's terrifying.

Louise swallowed hard. Truly, she was a woman of the Pewter family. Her aunt Molly had torn apart the madwoman, and Hestia had punched the red-haired monster. That Doomsday Fist alone could probably subdue a troll.

Hestia gave Louis a deep look, but because they weren't from the same academy and he was too young, she didn't harm him.

The main reason is that Louise is just too adorable, and Hestia, the shrew, is too embarrassed to harass this delicate flower.

"Poor twins..." Louis silently mourned for the red-haired brothers.

"He's a good kid, don't let those redheads corrupt him."

Hestia left with a single sentence, turned and walked away gracefully, without taking a single cloud with her.

It seems that Gryffindor girls really do hit hard, and Hermione is quite good at silencing Malfoy with a straight punch.

Angelina, who seems to be good at playing ball, is no pushover either.

On the other hand, Hestia is actually a beautiful and gentle older sister, provided that she doesn't hit people.

Busy days passed by one by one, and soon it was time for the white album season.

Unfortunately, Grandpa sent Emerald with a message saying that he should spend Christmas at school.

The old man has gone on vacation again. This time, it seems he's going to visit a country famous for cigars and rum and take a break while he's there.

Diana was also not there. According to her letter, she seemed to have gone to Africa to do some kind of charity work, including hiking through minefields to carry out anti-landmine activities.

They're pretty bold.

Louis wrote a long letter with great concern and asked Emerys to send it back immediately.

When Emerys returned, she brought back a letter from her aunt and uncle, which said that the daffodils in their hometown were in bloom and that her aunt and uncle missed her very much, and that she should come back to the palace to visit them.

But the Hogwarts train had already departed, and Louis could only regretfully say that he would have to wait until summer vacation to visit.

In the days leading up to Christmas, the entire school was filled with a festive atmosphere. After all, more than half of the students were still there instead of going home, and Dumbledore placed great importance on their mental well-being.

Louis sat at the table, nibbling on gingerbread, his mind a jumble of thoughts, preoccupied with worry about Diana.

This is such a worry! At thirty years old, why is he wandering around in minefields for no reason...?

"Louis! Louis!" Ron's voice came from behind him.

Looking back, there were Harry and Ron, those two big fools. One was wearing a blue sweater with an "H" on it, and the other was wearing a dark red sweater with an "R" on it.

"Didn't you go home?" Louis asked Ron.

"The plans changed. Mom and Dad have to go to Romania to visit Charlie." Ron shrugged and plopped down next to Louis. "My brother Charlie is raising dragons in Romania. He's pretty handsome, isn't he?"

"That's pretty cool," Louis nodded.

"Oh, right, Mom told me to give this to you," Ron said somewhat shyly, pulling out a package.

Louis took it and quickly unwrapped it; it was a navy blue sweater.

This is a difference between Chinese and foreign cultures. In China, it is considered very impolite to open a gift in front of the giver; however, in the UK, opening a gift in front of the giver is undoubtedly the happiest thing for the giver.

When in Rome, do as the Romans do, Louis thought to himself.

He unfolded the sweater and saw the letter "L" on the front.

"Thank you, thank you Aunt Molly, I love it." Louise really liked the sweater; she had envied Harry when she saw him receive it in the movie in her past life.

"Excuse me for a moment." Louis left the auditorium amidst the two men's puzzled gazes, but quickly returned, still wearing the sweater.

"Louis..." Ron's eyes welled up with tears.

He really didn't expect that someone from a wealthy family like Louis would not look down on his mother's gift, and would even wear it immediately with joy.

"It's so warm, haha, am I handsome?" Louis spun around.

"Like a complete idiot." His senior's voice came from behind him at just the right moment.

Today, the senior student was wearing a heavy robe with a standard Slytherin grey and green scarf around her neck. Tall and graceful, she stood there, her face not showing her usual coldness, but rather like a friendly older sister next door.

Of course, this is Lewis's perspective. From Harry and Ron's point of view, Catherine's smile is like the most terrifying fallen angel in hell, sending chills down one's spine.

"Cassie?" Louis asked, puzzled. "You didn't go home?"

"I'll stay with you." Under Harry Ron's horrified gaze, Catherine smiled and patted Louis's head. "How could I bear to let my adorable little brother spend Christmas here alone?"

Louis was immediately on the defensive.

Harry and Ron were filled with awe, leaning back slightly as if to look at Louise with the eyes of a god.

Enraged, Louis lunged at Catherine, wrapping his arms tightly around her slender waist: "Sister..."

His voice was filled with admiration and emotion.

That's a really convincing act...

Diana: So love will disappear, right?

She really didn't understand why Louis, who was always such a gentleman, was always so roguish in front of her.

If this continues, the newly established "older sister" persona will be in trouble.

Louis is in a similar predicament; he's now in a bit of a bind.

At the crucial moment, Ron saved him.

"By the way, Louis, Harry said he saw a strange mirror."

"But I always feel there's something wrong with that mirror, but Harry is so obsessed with it. Could you come with me to take a look and try to talk him out of it?"

Ron's face was full of worry; he was really afraid that his good brother would become obsessed with that monster mirror and never recover.

"Huh? Oh." Louis pulled his head out of his senior's soft bosom, belatedly asking, "What mirror?"

He didn't hear what it said at all, he just heard the word "mirror".

"Exactly, Harry came across a mirror in the hallway. He could see his parents, but I saw myself as the student council president and Quidditch champion..."

"This is ridiculous, isn't it?" Ron clicked his tongue. "I think that magic mirror must be an illusion. We can't let Harry get caught up in it..."

Louis understood; Ron was probably referring to the Mirror of Erised, the one Dumbledore used to test Harry in the original story.

Do you think Dumbledore is just bored and has been eating too much sugar?

At least that's what Louis thinks.

He said to Ron and a reluctant Harry, "Let's go, let's go take a look."
