"Wait a minute, didn't Ollivander say my mother was an alchemist? How did she become a Slytherin student?" Louis, like a blind student, keenly noticed the crucial point. [Read the error-free chapter]

"Uh..." Dumbledore suddenly felt a little embarrassed. He paused for a moment before explaining to Louis, "Your mother... well, she's a bit quirky. She really likes to tell people that she's an alchemist. In her opinion, it's more high-class and sophisticated that way."

"Honestly, I still don't understand what 'high-end,' 'classy,' or 'high-class' means..."

How quirky and clever... Case solved, my mom is Huang Rong?

"Speaking of which, your mother has always been very good at judging people," Dumbledore said to Lewis after a long pause. "But there was one time that really puzzled me. She once told Lily never to trust Peter Pettigrew, but... you know, James and your mother have always been at odds, and he was very angry at the time..."

"Did you have a fight with your mom?" Louis asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Uh, no, not at all." A hint of embarrassment suddenly appeared on Dumbledore's face. "James was hung upside down by her, and then... his mouth was sealed shut with a spell."

"..." Louis was also speechless for a moment.

"But as it turned out, this was the only time your mother misjudged someone; she always believed that Sirius was the most reliable person..." Dumbledore shrugged.

"Then why didn't she stop Sirius?" Louis thought to himself, "My mother was right—it's you guys who were wrong."

"It's very unfortunate," Dumbledore sighed. "A month before the Potters' deaths, your mother passed the trial of the Hellstone, sealing the gates of Hell at the cost of her own life."

Louis suddenly felt that things were becoming surreal. What was this about hell again? Why didn't you say heaven?

"The stone tablet records three trials: killing a hellhound and bathing in its blood, saving an innocent soul from hell, and finally... purifying a demon."

"In the presence of wizards from all over the world, your mother completed the final and most difficult trial—purifying a wicked demon... The purification in this trial is not a physical purification, but rather restoring it to its humanity."

"The ultimate price of the trial is the sacrifice of the trial participants' lives. Your mother knew this heavy price all along, but she still went ahead without hesitation. It should be said that the whole world owes her a great debt."

Dumbledore spoke slowly and deliberately, his tone heavy.

"And... what about my father?" Louis asked again.

"As the final trial was underway, demons from hell launched a surprise attack on the site of the ceremony. Your father sacrificed himself in the rearguard action to protect your mother and cover the wizards' retreat."

Goodness, the Mountbatten family is full of loyal martyrs, isn't it?

Come to think of it, my grandfather was an outstanding anti-Japanese fighter when he was young. He fought the Japanese in Southeast Asia... he was a tough guy who wasn't exactly hardcore.

After all, Grandpa was in charge from the rear.

When it comes to the truly hardcore and ruthless sushi chefs, Li Mei is the one to mention, since he has many acquaintances in Tokyo.

"The demons who led the way back then are still at large, waiting for their chance to return." Dumbledore's crescent-shaped spectacles flashed. "And you, Louis, as the son of the culprit who sealed the gates of Hell, are absolutely their first target for revenge."

Louis shivered for no apparent reason.

"I don't know what that demon's real name is, but he is definitely not a simple being." Dumbledore saw that the child was a little frightened and kindly handed him a chocolate bar. "Generally speaking, low-ranking demons have pure black eyes, while slightly higher-ranking ones have blood red, dark gold, and so on. But... this is the first time I've seen a demon with such bright blue eyes."

"The first impression a demon gives is one of evil and cunning." Dumbledore took out a licorice wand, put it in his mouth and smacked it twice, and continued, "But the first impression that demon gives is... contradictory. The first impression is that of a very upright person, but upon closer inspection, problems will be found. It's like a wolf in sheep's clothing."

"So, why are you suddenly telling me all this?" Louis asked the question that had been on his mind for a long time.

"This world is vast and complex, Lewis." Dumbledore quickly destroyed the licorice wand, licking his fingers with lingering satisfaction. "Perhaps you think you can live a carefree life in this world thanks to some of your foresight, but many things don't go as you think or as you wish."

Louis's heart skipped a beat, a chill running from his toes to the top of his head. He looked at Dumbledore warily: "You have no sportsmanship, Professor. I'm still a child... You actually used Legilimency on me!"

You old rascal, you're so wicked! You wouldn't even spare my adorable child?

"Don't worry, Louis," Dumbledore said with a smile, reassuring him. "I'm not that shameless... Don't you think about how suspicious your behavior is? What freshman would head straight for the Room of Requirement on the first day of school?"

"I really like something your mother once said to James: 'If you have it too easy when you're young, you're more likely to stumble later in life...' Unfortunately, her son doesn't seem to have inherited her caution."

"What I don't understand is that you still went to learn magic from Quirrell after you knew he was possessed by Voldemort. There are some things I don't want to hide from you. Patrick was someone I brought back; I wanted to slowly use him to build your reputation in Slytherin. But I didn't expect Voldemort to control him with the Imperius Curse first. Have you ever thought about how you would resist if Voldemort used the Imperius Curse on you?"

Louis was stumped. He wanted to defend himself, but he couldn't refute what Headmaster Dumbledore had said.

He couldn't help but feel a chill of fear. If Voldemort had really used Astral Projection on him back then, he probably wouldn't have been able to resist and might have already fallen victim to it.

"Patrick is dead." Headmaster Dumbledore's bright eyes gleamed with wisdom behind his half-moon spectacles.

"Uh, Principal, this really isn't me—"

"It was Voldemort," Dumbledore said with a light laugh. "After testing you with Patrick, he confirmed your terrifying talent in dark magic and, in order to silence you, he ruthlessly killed you."

"You're just going to watch?" Louis asked rhetorically.

This sentence contains two other layers of meaning.

The first layer is, "As the principal, are you just going to stand by and do nothing?"

The second layer is that Lewis wanted to test Dumbledore's answer to see if he was really like the Dumbledore in those conspiracy theories he had read about in his previous life.

As for those who said I banned them for giving bad reviews, I hope you know what you said. I didn't delete any of the many people who said they didn't like it, so why did I delete you and permanently ban you? You're so sensitive about being banned. If I were to retaliate in kind, wouldn't you explode?
