Chapter 64 Crazy Thursday (Seeking monthly votes and continued reading for investment purposes)

Jerry secretly parted Tom's fingers with his hand, his little eyes fixed intently on the man and woman. [For error-free chapter reading, search on Google.]

Tom and Jerry, who were just watching the show, were pitiful as they were thrown out one after another by the senior student using a magic spell.

When Tom was thrown out, he landed on Jerry with a thud. Tom quickly got up to check and found that Jerry had been crushed into a pulp.

He grabbed Jerry's tail and shook it, restoring him to his original state.

Two little heads peeked through the crack in the door to see what was going to happen inside.

Professor McGonagall caught them both again.

"Professor Quirrell colluded with the mysterious man and trespassed into forbidden territory. He has already been dealt with by our Savior." Snape's tone was displeased. He knew that Dumbledore would definitely give that little bastard Potter preferential treatment.

How many points should Gryffindor be deducted from the monthly exam? Snape pondered to himself, how many points should be deducted to make up for Dumbledore's favoritism?

Let's deduct everything, that's a happy decision.

"Professor McGonagall spoke about your outstanding performance in Defense Against the Dark Arts, and she thinks you could serve as a teaching assistant for Defense Against the Dark Arts class to help me with teaching that course—after all, you know, I'm also a Potions teacher and don't have much time to deal with this course."

"Yes, Professor, no problem, Professor." Louis was confident. Why even bother with setting questions? He could just switch to a practical exam!

After the two professors left, Louis opened the task.

That caught me completely off guard.

But that's fine too. He can't know about the Defense Against the Dark Arts monthly exam. I'll at least give him a good stab in the butt during the Battle of Hogwarts.

Dumbledore explained that after learning that Lily's spell still worked on Voldemort, Voldemort no longer needed to stay at Hogwarts and cause trouble for everyone.

Goodness, Louis exclaimed.

"Well then, you should be a little mindful of your presence when you're in the dormitory with Miss Voray," Dumbledore added as a final remark.

"Who said that! Catherine and I are completely innocent..." Louis immediately bristled. He calmed himself down and said in a deep voice, "Professor, you know me. If I really wanted to do something, Catherine would be pregnant by now."

"At your age, it seems..." Dumbledore said hesitantly, unsure of how to handle this prodigy, Louise.

"As long as I get the house-elf to cook a ton of delicious food, I won't have to worry about her getting too big for her stomach," Louis said confidently. "And today is Thursday, after all."

"What does this have to do with Thursday?" Dumbledore didn't understand what Louis meant.

"What I mean is, Professor, we could start a Thursday event where we provide all-you-can-eat fried chicken meals to the students every Thursday... as a reward for their hard work in their studies, and also to commemorate Potter's courage in the face of evil."

"After all, a string can't be taut forever, can it, Professor?"

"Good idea, how about... we call it Crazy Thursday?" Dumbledore said approvingly.

"Yes, Headmaster!"
