I'm the King of Curry at Hogwarts
Chapter 74 Harry's Little Trouble
Chapter 74 Harry's Little Trouble
"Louis, Louis—" a sweet, gentle voice sounded from outside the door, "Get up quickly, or I'll come in."
Louis opened his sleepy eyes and glanced sideways. Morning light streamed through the gap in the curtains, casting shadows on the floor. Judging by the angle, it was probably around seven or eight o'clock. Muttering that it was still early, he turned over, ready to continue his game of chess with the Duke of Zhou in his dreams, when suddenly the door opened, and he felt a chill on his body.
Turning around, he saw the uninvited guest who had snatched his blanket looking at him leisurely.
"Ah... Sister Diana, please let me rest a little longer. Young children are growing, and lack of sleep can affect their development."
Diana remained unmoved, placed the blanket aside, lifted Louis from the bed, and gently urged, "Get up quickly, don't be lazy like your grandfather at such a young age..."
"What's for breakfast?" Louis asked, hugging his pillow with an adorable expression.
"Sausage, toast, baked beans in tomato sauce, roasted tomatoes, and scrambled eggs." As Diana spoke, she quickly made up Louis's bed, clearly urging him to get out of bed.
"Sausage? Salami (Italian sausage) or Bratwurst (German sausage)?" Louis pressed on, unwilling to give up.
"British sausage."
"Oh, no..." Louis felt waves of nausea rising from his stomach to his throat. He buried his head in the pillow and groaned weakly, "I don't want... I don't want to eat the emulsified high-fat mixed vegetables..."
"Being a picky eater isn't a good habit, my dear," Diana said, then turned and called, "Come in."
As soon as he finished speaking, a row of maids filed in and escorted Louis to wash up. Then, as usual, they helped him change his clothes. After this complicated process, Louis was utterly exhausted.
Looking exhausted, Louis sat at the table, facing a traditional English breakfast, finding it rather difficult to eat.
Actually, the breakfast wasn't bad. The problem was the emulsified high-fat offal tube. Louis had the chance to try it once, and even the most authentic Cumberland sausage couldn't pique his interest.
English cuisine, those who know, know.
As for the other fried and stir-fried dishes, they were quite appetizing, but the Mountbatten family's tradition of not wasting food forced him to finish the sausage with a do-or-die attitude.
"Why are my eyes always filled with tears? Because I love emulsified high-fat mixed sausages so deeply," Louis murmured bitterly. The maid serving him immediately sliced the sausage and placed it in front of him. He closed his eyes, forked a slice of sausage, and stuffed it into his mouth.
To be honest, it's a bit of a scandal.
Cleanliness and hygiene are all that's needed.
Years of exposure to such culture would leave even a stone with a certain air, and the quick-witted Louis naturally mastered those aristocratic manners perfectly. Even when forced to eat food he didn't like, he could do so with impeccable elegance and grace.
In addition, his handsome and refined appearance made him even more elegant.
"Fluttering, fluttering..."
Something seemed to be flapping its wings. Louis looked in the direction of the sound and saw an owl struggling to hit its window.
That round-faced, chubby Scottish chicken doesn't seem very bright.
"How come there's an owl? Oh... Susan, go get some food and go feed this poor little guy. It looks lost." Diana put down her newspaper and looked at the owl with pity.
Louise's previous letters were all received and sent by the family servants, so Diana was unaware that owls had the ability to deliver mail.
Louis called out to Susan, "Ms. Susan, please stop for a moment. Don't go yet. Oh, Mr. Bill, could you please open the window? I think this little guy is looking for me."
Diana furrowed her delicate brows, but did not object to her brother's actions.
She also really wanted to get close to the little thing.
The manservant, Bill, bowed slightly to acknowledge the order, then stepped onto a stool and opened the window above.
An owl swooped in, landed on the table, and casually tossed a letter in front of Louis.
Instead of opening the envelope, he picked up a fork and pushed the chopped emulsified high-fat offal container in front of the owl. The owl, not being picky, clucked a few times to express its gratitude and began to enjoy the rare treat.
Duo Sun Na.
Diana put down her newspaper, watched the little creature devour its food, got up, walked over, and reached out to stroke its feathers. Looking at the letters on the table, she said with interest, "This little guy isn't afraid of people... Hmm, is it here to deliver mail?"
Louis nodded and opened the letter.
It says:
Dear Louise:
I've heard that Harry's been having a little trouble at his uncle's house lately, and I'm sure you, as his good friend, wouldn't stand idly by. Also, please give my regards to old Louis.
You are loyal
Albus Dumbledore
He put down the letter, and Diana asked with concern, "What happened, Louis?"
"It's my principal, it's not a big deal." Louis handed the letter to Bill and told him to keep it safe. "The letter says that one of my classmates is having a little trouble and needs my help to resolve it."
"But..." Louis hesitated for a moment, "He didn't seem to have told me where my classmate lived."
As if by telepathy, another owl landed outside the window.
Susan went over to retrieve the letter and fed it some beef jerky. The owl hooted happily twice, then flapped its wings and flew away.
Dear Louise:
Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you Harry's address. I hope you won't mind an old man's forgetfulness.
4 Privet Road, Little Huigkin District, Surrey.
Your faithful
Albus Dumbledore
Louis mentally went through several periods.
"Alright, I need to go to Surrey in a bit... Mr. Bill, please tell Mr. Askin to prepare a car for me." Louis handed the letter to Bill and gave the instructions.
"I'll go with you, Louis." Diana's brow furrowed with worry. "It's too dangerous for you to go alone."
"It's alright, Duher (Diana's nickname)," Louis said with a smile. "My classmate's family situation is rather complicated. His parents died when he was very young, and he now lives with his aunt and uncle... Oh, his aunt and uncle are Muggles... just ordinary people who can't use magic, and they treat him quite badly."
"Oh, how pitiful!" Diana was immediately filled with pity for the poor little boy she had never met before. "Then I must go with you and bring him home. Alas... poor child..."
As she said this, she covered her chest with both hands, her large eyes filled with sympathy and sorrow.
"Okay, if you don't mind the hassle." Louis shrugged; he didn't seem to care.
As for Harry's uncle... he has his own ways of dealing with Vernon Louis.
