My Strange Tale Love Strategy Simulator

Chapter 15 Feathers on Arms

Floating feathers enveloped his arms, piercing his flesh one by one, until blood could no longer flow. He looked up at the sky and plunged headfirst into the lake.

Oxygen slowly escaped from his lungs, bubbles rose towards the bright sea surface, and a feeling of suffocation gradually enveloped him. Zhang Ying slowly closed his eyes.

When he opened his eyes again, he had become her, watching her life from her perspective.

This is the unique perspective of special CG, immersing you in the story from a first-person viewpoint.

-

I opened my eyes, and my world consisted of mottled walls, a cramped room, and old tables and chairs.

I crawled and rolled on the ground on all fours, getting covered in dust. My mother gently held me and put the bottle in my mouth.

Elementary school days passed slowly. I liked to sit alone in the fields after school and sing. My songs accompanied my lonely childhood and drifted into the night with the evening breeze.

My father stormed out again, walking out of the small room in his well-tailored suit. My mother and I sat around the cake with candles, singing a not-so-joyful birthday song.

We moved into a bigger house. My father's suits became more expensive, his posture straighter, my mother's smile brighter, and our life became more comfortable.

I sat by the cake as usual, singing the birthday song. My father stormed out as usual, and this time my mother followed him. I sat by the cake and blew out the candles by myself.

I moved into a high-floor apartment. My mother tied a tie for my father, whose suit was rather eye-catching. My mother smiled at my father's suit, and my father smiled at the tie on his chest. They were both laughing so happily, but looking at the dried blood in my mother's and father's eyes and the corners of their mouths, I couldn't smile at all.

The days of junior high school started to fly by. I could no longer sit in the fields and sing. My father sent me to a dance class, saying that this was my stage.

I put on my tight-fitting ballet costume and experienced for the first time my innate talent. I still wanted to sing in the fields, but I could only stand on tiptoe and spread my arms.

On my birthday again, I sat beside the cake, but no song came out. My father sat beside me, and my mother sat beside me. They lit the candles on the cake and sang cheerful songs.

One feather after another pierced my flesh.

Am I a swan? Am I the swan?

I floated on the lake, completely bewildered.

I looked up at the sky and dreamed of being a bird, but my arms, covered in feathers, couldn't carry my heavy body to fly. I could only preen my feathers and float alone on the lake.

High school days passed quickly. My family still lived on a high floor, my father's suit was still as shiny as ever, and my mother still skillfully tied her tie. My mother wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth and carefully combed the feathers on my arm.

she says:

"You must use these feathers to fly, to the mountains, to the sea, to take me far away, far away from this home..."

But Mother, I can't even lift these feathers myself!

My body is getting heavier and heavier, my feathers are getting lighter and lighter, every inch of my skin is filled with feathers, there is no room left!

I gradually sank into the lake. The feathers on my arms supported my upper body. I was still breathing air, and my body was completely soaked.

……

"..."

Zhang Ying stared blankly at the ceiling, having somehow exited the special CG. His eyes were vacant, his body lay flat, his jaw agape unconsciously, and a heavy pressure made it hard for him to breathe.

After catching his breath, he took a deep breath, sat up in bed, and sighed:

"Feathers are attached to wings, not arms. No matter how many feathers are on your arms, you can't fly. Besides, you're trapped in a cage, and you're just a swan to begin with."

"All a swan can do is keep itself from sinking into the lake."

Through the CG story, Zhang Ying learned a general understanding of Li Ziqing's life.

Born into a poor family, the introverted girl loved to sing in the fields. Her loving mother was by her side, while her father, dedicated to his career, wore a smart suit and worked hard in society.

Father's hard work paid off, and the family began to live a better life. Father started wearing a smart suit, and Mother gradually let go of her love for Li Ziqing, joining Father in striving for an even better life.

Life got better and better, but the father's personality became worse and worse, and he even abused the mother. The mother was willing to continue to work hard with the father.

Later, Li Ziqing was sent to a dance class by her father, and she showed her talent in dance. Her parents saw her talent and began to pay attention to her, using expectations as a cage to confine this swan.

The mother, who was subjected to domestic violence, dared not complain about the father and could only place more expectations on Li Ziqing. These expectations gradually caused Li Ziqing to sink to the bottom of the lake.

"I hope to be able to lift people up, and also kill them." Zhang Ying shook his head, moved the mouse on the panel, and clicked on special CG2.

Who floats in the lake? Who trembles in the lake? Feathers pierced into their arms bleed, staining the lake red and attracting sharks.

Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh.

One bubble after another floated onto the bright lake surface, and the feathers inserted into his arms loosened one by one, bringing out blood and leaving empty holes.

The azure lake was stained red with blood, and sharks, attracted by the smell of blood, swam down from the depths of the sea and bit Zhang Ying's arm.

He opened his eyes, and he became her.

-

How big is this lake? How deep is this lake?

I don't know, I just kept trying to float with my arms outstretched so I wouldn't sink into the lake.

My outstanding performance in the school dance team attracted attention from all walks of life. I participated in competitions of all sizes and received invitations from many prestigious schools.

But through various competitions, I have come to realize how significant the difference is between feathers attached to wings and feathers attached to arms.

I have never felt so tired when I walked out of the school dance team's classroom and arrived at the dance tutoring class.

Day after day, I wave the feathers on my arms and receive praise from those around me.

It's so quiet. I lie quietly on the lake, my cheek pressed against the water, my eyes looking at the sky.

I could feel the buoyancy of the lake trying to loosen the feathers between my arms. I tried to push the feathers deeper. Now I had nothing but feathers.

I'm so tired. Lately, I've been hearing more and more criticisms. No matter how hard I try, a feather or two always seems to slip through my fingers.

The night I left my dance class, my father, busy with social engagements, made me walk home by myself.

My mother didn't come to pick me up, so I stood alone at the intersection, waiting for the traffic lights to change along with the other pedestrians.

Red light? Green light?

The light should be green now, right?

I stepped onto the zebra crossing, and what were the pedestrians around me saying? I couldn't hear them, I couldn't hear them at all, so I took a second step, and a third step.

The blinding light shone beside me, and the loud car horn made me open my eyes wide.
