Just accept your bad luck?

Levitt wasn't going to accept his bad luck; in a sense, he was now "in control" of that damned thief, so there was no need to rush things.

Right now, Levitt has more important things to deal with.

He left the street where the serpent weapon shop was located, first delivering the Blue Moon Grass to collect his reward, then spending a little more money to buy four healing potions from the druid, before finally returning to the tavern where he lived.

"Rye bread and mushroom stew, please just throw the bread into the pot and cook it for a while." Sitting at the bar, Levi ordered his food, paid, and then turned his attention to the pub on the first floor.

He glanced around but couldn't find the person he wanted to see. Instead, he saw three pairs of eyes staring intently from the corner.

The hooded man, and his two companions, one fat and one thin.

They didn't dare to cause any trouble in the tavern, but Levitt was very curious about them. He took the stew that the waiter brought, stirred it and stuffed it into his mouth while waving over there.

He wanted to have a calm conversation with the hooded men if he could, but unfortunately, all three of them gave him the middle finger. Someone passed by, blocking his view, and then they all disappeared.

They will reappear.

Levitt was certain.

Ten minutes later, Levitt leisurely finished his stew and was rinsing his mouth with water when the tavern door was pushed open, and the four members of the Big Bear Adventure Team arrived.

As a renowned adventure group, they seemed to have rented a house to live in and only came to the tavern for a meal.

After all, adventurers inevitably have to cook for themselves in the wild, and it would be too pitiful if they had to fend for themselves when they returned to town.

The tavern was quite crowded, but Bearskin and his group didn't see Levitt at the bar. They called over a waiter to order, only to be told that the food had already been ordered.

"Levitt?" Bearskin muttered, and sure enough, he saw Levitt smiling as he squeezed in.

"The little goblin really knows how to create value; he can even order a whole table of food for us."

"How was your first adventure?"

The other members of the adventure team greeted Levitt.

"You don't need to come this time, you're too kind." Bearskin shook his head at Levitt, his face showing concern.

While it's nice to have someone treat them, they don't lack the money for one or two meals.

They rescued Levitt, and he got along quite well with them. Logically and emotionally, they didn't need to help him anymore, but they hoped that Levitt would live well.

"We'll pay you for the meal later."

"If you don't have money to buy the medicine, don't blame us."

The others were joking.

"Uh, this isn't a thank you message." Levitt asked a waiter for a chair, pulled it over to sit next to Bearskin, and said, "Could you take me on your next mission?"

Bearskin and his teammates exchanged glances. Out of politeness, he didn't immediately refuse, but instead asked curiously, "What happened? Did your first adventure not go well?"

"Thanks to you all, things went relatively smoothly." Li Wei nodded, then changed the subject: "However, while collecting Blue Moon Grass, I discovered something strange that I have to tell you about tonight."

Bearskin crossed his arms as the waiter began serving them. Once the dishes were served, he poured wine while gesturing for Levitt to continue.

"It seems I've run into that special group of goblins you were hunting."

Levitt's words prompted all four of them to ask in unison, "Where?"

"Here, roughly around here." Levitt asked them to take out a map, then roughly circled a location with his hand. "This is where I saw them; there were a lot of them."

Unsurprisingly, the Big Bear Adventurers were skeptical of Levitt's words and the lies that followed.

As expected, Levitt was politely declined, but he did not accept payment for dinner.

This was all part of Levitt's plan. He wasn't prepared to have these people trust him unconditionally; this was just a preliminary encounter.

He has his own confidence.

After leaving the first floor, Levitt went to the washroom to wash up quickly and then returned to his room to lie down.

He opened his wallet and found he only had a little over 9 gold coins left.

He and Rotten Knife agreed that they could go to the Monster Forest tomorrow to find the location of the Blood Burning Cave.

To convince the Big Bear Adventurers of his story, he would wear the helmet with the rotten knife to prove that a battle had indeed taken place there, thus forcing Bearskin to believe him.

Join the Great Bear Adventure Team to wipe out the Blood Burning Clan, help the Rotten Blade Clan solve their problems and bring them blessings. While you broaden your horizons, you'll also get a share of the bear skins.

Furthermore, Levitt will witness the strength of the adventurers in the Big Bear Adventure Team, and then he will be able to choose from all the good traits and skills.

Thinking of this, Levitt couldn't help but laugh while he was in bed.

I slept soundly through the night.

......

The next day, Levitt ate breakfast, rinsed his mouth with the treatment solution, and then swallowed it.

He first went to the Adventurers' Guild, found the receptionist, and told her he wanted to post a quest. After paying the processing fee under the receptionist's strange gaze, his first quest appeared on the bulletin board in the square.

Lost and found (Uncle)

Location: Bed in Room 302, 2nd Floor, Big Bird Bar, Zenda Town.

Content: A certain half-human schoolgirl was really careless. After a passionate night, she hurriedly left with the money her uncle gave her, forgetting that she had left her student ID behind.

Remember to come back when you have time; your uncle is waiting for you in bed.

Reward: Uncle's Love

Note: Please be sure to wear your school uniform.

When the staff refused to help, Levitt could only sigh and post the request himself.

As he walked toward the crowd, a chorus of boos erupted.

This kind of commission isn't illegal, but it's not very ethical.

After posting the notice, Levitt took down a simple commission, looked around, left the square, and went to the Sea Serpent Weapon Shop.

Levitt left two more gold coins, then carried the bag of goblin weapons and left the town of Zendar.

Just as agreed beforehand, Rotten Knife was waiting for him at the agreed location.

Levitt gave him a bag of weapons and healing potions, and the rotten knife gave him a bone helmet and spear. Of course, the most important thing was the exact location of the Bloodstained Cave.

By the time he finished the simple commission and returned to the town of Chanda, it was already late. After handing over the materials and deducting taxes, he earned enough for his lodging that night, but he would have to pay for his own food.

The more this happened, the stronger Levitt's desire to broaden his horizons and become stronger became.

Knowledge Level: 2 (29/400)

Knowledge Points: 111

Levitt stood in the Adventurers' Guild, watching as adventurers passed by and sub-menus appeared above their heads, displaying traits or skills that could be unlocked, but Levitt wasn't particularly interested in them.

Insight points are valuable, so don't waste them on these weak trait skills.

Everyone needs to have dreams.

He glanced unintentionally toward the door and suddenly saw a familiar figure.

"Grey Mouse!" Levitt shouted.
