After seeing the royal ghost and the teleportation chest for what seemed like the umpteenth time, the atmosphere among Leah, Galadon, and Horn became somewhat heavy.

After defeating the royal ghost once again, an exhausted Lia sat down against the tomb's stone wall, not caring whether the dust mixed with ashes on the ground would stain her emerald green robes.

No matter how thoroughly they explored, even if they dug up the entire underground tomb and ransacked it, finding many useful items, they still couldn't leave this damned tomb.

"Are we under a hallucination spell?"

Leah looked at Horn, wishing it were all just an illusion, a nightmare.

Horn shook his head. He didn't sense any signs of illusion magic, but he was just a priest and might miss some details.

"If Dylan were still alive, that would be great. He's a real smart aleck, but maybe he could solve the mystery of this tomb," Leah complained.

"There are no dungeons with only dead ends," Galadon said in a deep voice. This was a truth universally acknowledged by all adventurers. "We must have missed exploring some areas, or failed to understand the dungeon's maze mechanics..."

He hadn't finished speaking.

"Gurgle..."

Liya, standing to the side, awkwardly clutched her stomach.

Prolonged and intense exploration and combat are very physically demanding and can also lead to hunger.

Unfortunately, because they had previously assumed that the Dorne Dungeon was just a level 1 dungeon and wouldn't be very big, the SilverAsh Squad hadn't brought much food.

In other words, from now on, the three of them must continue their exploration on an empty stomach.

……

"Tsk, that was a miscalculation. Letting the three of them stay here isn't a good solution."

Deep within the dungeon, watching the three adventurers who kept circling around in the tomb, Rogue felt a bit of a toothache.

For a typical adventurer party, if they can't find a way to continue after such a long time, they certainly won't waste any more time. Instead, they will use the [Return Bone Fragment] they picked up during their previous exploration to leave the dungeon.

At least that's how Roger envisioned it.

However, now that the SilverAsh Squad is carrying out a mission for the Adventurers' Guild, and their captain, Galadon, is a bit stubborn, the remaining three members are really refusing to use the Return Bone to leave.

This has resulted in a large number of adventurers queuing outside the dungeon entrance, waiting to enter and contribute their negative emotional energy to Rogue.

"Fine, I'll just give you a hint: you might as well get out of here and stop hogging the toilet without doing anything."

While muttering to himself, Rogge shook the city lord's bracelet.

Instantly, negative emotional energy gathered within him.

The Sun Knight has reappeared!

Picking up the Sun Sword, Rogue got up from the sofa and walked towards the burial area.

……

"Thump!"

Galahad, expressionless, once again smashed the Royal Ghost flat with his shield.

This was the twentieth royal ghost he had killed, which meant they had experienced twenty cycles of being trapped in a maze.

After many cycles, the three finally discovered some possible clues.

It seems that each time they are teleported by a teleportation chest, the tombs before and after them are slightly different.

Perhaps they weren't just going around in circles in one tomb, but rather traveling back and forth between two, or more, 99% similar tombs.

However, although they were getting closer to the truth, it didn't seem to help them escape the tomb.

"Perhaps we shouldn't rush headlong into things anymore."

Horn, who hadn't said much until now, suddenly spoke up, interrupting Galahad, who was about to open the teleportation chest again.

"But we have no other way to go, chew chew chew..." Lia bit hard into the hard jerky, this was the last bite of food she had.

"If you don't find the right method, no matter how hard you try, it will be in vain." Horn shook his head, found a relatively clean place to sit down, and took out a bundle of blank parchment scrolls.

The Priest's Hand

The light converged into the shape of a quill pen, which fell into Horn's hand and was under his control.

After twenty explorations, Horn was able to describe the general structure of the tomb.

"Is this the wisdom of the elderly...?" Lia muttered to herself as she leaned closer.

"This tomb is roughly inverted T-shaped, and we're currently at the very end where the teleportation chest is," Horn said while drawing the map. "We explored two other forks in the road before, but didn't find any clues. Perhaps we should teleport again and go directly to those two places."

After saying that, Horn looked at Galadon. Although he was older, the latter was the captain and had the authority to make decisions about the team's actions.

"Let's do it this way."

Galadon's voice also revealed a hint of fatigue that was barely perceptible.

"Then I'll open the teleportation chest, okay?"

As she spoke, Lia prepared to open the treasure chest.

But the next second, a sudden voice dispelled her idea.

"Three lost undead? It seems you need some help."

The voice was deep and gentle, as if it came from a clergyman.

But Leah, Horn, and Galadon all turned around instantly, raised their weapons, and aimed them at the strange knight who had appeared behind them at some unknown time.

"Please relax, I mean no harm."

Rogue, playing the role of the Sun Knight, sheathed the Sun Sword and placed it on the ground.

With his hands raised, Rogge slowly walked toward the three men.

"Stop!" Lia shouted sharply, firing an arrow that flew just past Rogge's head. If it had been slightly off, the arrow would have hit Rogge's helmet.

"Alright." Roger obediently stopped and introduced himself, though of course he couldn't reveal his true identity as the dungeon lord.

"I am the Sun Knight from Astra, you can call me Rogue."

Astra, the Sun Knight—two unfamiliar terms. In any case, this did not make the three of them lower their guard.

How could humans possibly appear in a dungeon, which is home to at least most of the strangely behaving creatures, including Garadon?

Rogge pointed to the large shield protecting the three of them. Even with the [Repair Powder], the battle-hardened shield still bore many battle marks.

"I see you've been going around in circles for a long time. Perhaps you need some help. I can take you away from this tomb and give the sleepers a peaceful rest."

Hearing this, Leah and the other two still didn't lower their weapons, but continued to ask Rogue and Galadon in a deep voice, "How are you going to get us out of here?"

"Of course, we'll leave on foot."

Roger said it casually.
