The mysterious alien did not move; it simply stood there, seemingly defenseless.

Just as Loken's bomb was about to hit its target, a powerful dark green psionic shield suddenly erupted around the mysterious alien.

The high-speed bomb crashed into the energy shield, creating violent ripples, but eventually ran out of propulsion fuel and failed to penetrate it.

"etc!"

The alien spoke, but its voice didn't come from its throat; it appeared directly in the surrounding air. It used its psionic energy to vibrate the air around it, thus producing the sound.

But all that responded to him was Astartes' charge. Seeing that his opponent had a psionic shield, Loken immediately abandoned his bomb gun, drew his combat broadsword from his waist, and charged directly at the alien.

In a small room, a broadsword is much more convenient than a bomb gun or a chainsaw.

In an instant, Loken appeared in front of the alien, his broadsword slashing down towards its head. The alien narrowed its eyes, the green light in them brightening, and with a sidestep, it dodged Loken's attack.

Seeing that his opponent had dodged the attack, Loken immediately changed the angle of his broadsword and slashed horizontally. The Xenomorph was equally experienced in combat; just as Loken's broadsword was about to strike him, it leaped up, spun around, and jumped to Loken's left.

"I mean no harm, you're a stranger in a foreign land!"

As soon as the alien landed, it spoke again, this time increasing its psionic output, making the surrounding noise even louder.

No sooner had he finished speaking than a whooshing sound came as a giant sword slashed down at him again. This time, the alien had no time to dodge and activated its psionic shield to try and block the attack.

The giant sword, imbued with immense force, ignored the existence of the psionic shield and slashed directly at the alien.

The moment the giant sword touched the alien's skin, the alien instantly turned into a cloud of black smoke and vanished. Then, the giant sword slammed heavily onto the deck with a dull thud.

The next instant, the alien appeared on the ceiling, accompanied by swirling black smoke.

He raised his right hand, closed his five fingers, and channeled spiritual energy into the gauntlet on his hand. Then, a dark green beam of light emerged from the front of the gauntlet, transforming into a battle blade.

"I'm sorry."

The mysterious alien hovered upside down from the conference room ceiling, the psionic blades extending from his gauntlets humming, their green light tracing dangerous arcs in the dim light. Then, he swooped down towards the black-armored warrior.

The blade and the broadsword clashed, sparking a few flecks. Through the power transmitted from the sword, Loken sensed that the alien's strength was slightly inferior to his own.

At the same time, he also sensed that the alien in front of him was not using its full power and was still hiding its strength.

In a one-on-one situation, Loken wasn't entirely confident he could capture the alien, but at this moment, he had a soulless being beside him who could counter the alien's psychic power.

Then Ada, Loken, and the alien engaged in a fierce battle. Loken's attacks were agile and swift, his swordsmanship superb, as he fought the alien in close combat. Ada's attacks were more expansive and wide-ranging, sealing off the alien's escape routes and suppressing its psychic power.

That alien swordsmanship had also reached the level of a master; with agile movements, he was able to fight two opponents at once.

But gradually, the alien's movements began to stagnate. Each attack from the golden-armored woman was like a cold black hole, mercilessly devouring his psionic energy.

The alien's right-hand blade began to dim, and his mind was inexplicably disturbed.

At this moment, the alien regretted his overconfidence; even if he wanted to escape, it would be incredibly difficult. Moreover, someone hadn't made a move yet. He glanced at the golden-armored warrior who had been silently watching.

"Stop." Elpis's voice rang out, carrying an unquestionable authority.

Upon hearing the order, Loken and Ada immediately stopped attacking, took up their weapons and assumed a defensive stance, and slowly surrounded the alien.

The mysterious alien raised its psionic blade in a defensive stance. It glanced around at the three people surrounding it, and finally fixed its gaze on the unmoving golden figure.

"It's a misunderstanding, I meant no harm," the alien said again, vibrating space with its psychic energy. "I came here to bring peace."

"What brings you to my territory?" Elpis paused briefly, then emphasized, "Nairazim?"

The Nerazim, a branch of the Protoss race, was instantly recognizable to Elpis, who was familiar with the StarCraft lore.

But he did not stop the conflict from breaking out. On the one hand, he wanted to see just how powerful the Protoss were in StarCraft, and on the other hand, he wanted to teach this Xenomorph who had trespassed on his territory a lesson.

According to Elpis, the Protoss are a powerful psionic race created by the Xel'Naga, somewhat similar to the Eldar in the Warhammer universe. They both possess extremely strong psionic talents and a very high level of technology.

"Strong one from another land," the alien sheathed its psionic blade, its tone carrying a hint of understanding, "you do indeed know many secrets."

Elpis didn't speak, but simply waved his hand, signaling him to continue.

"I am Zeratul, the Dark High Priest." He nodded slightly. "I bring the echoes of the future."

"Really?" Elpis said. "Tell me about it."

"Prophecy is not a description of a fixed future, but a revelation of the many possibilities of destiny." Zeratul took a step forward.

"In the fragments I foresaw, I saw pieces related to you. Extremely rare and blurry, your destiny is intertwined with many threads of this universe. You are a powerful variable."

“However,” Zeratul’s eyes blazed with a deep green light, revealing profound worry, “this is also the problem. Because of your appearance, the darkness in the future I foresee is growing ever deeper. It twists the bodies of all things and corrupts the souls of all things.”

"So?" Elpis's tone betrayed a hint of impatience; he least wanted to hear these mystical prophecies. "What do you intend to do?"

"We can join hands," Zeratul said, his gaze fixed on Elpis's eyes, "to fight against the darkness of the future."

Immediately afterwards, Zeratul flipped his hand, and a crystal that was crystal clear and shimmering with a deep green light appeared out of thin air.

Elpis instantly felt a strong attraction emanating from the crystal, or more precisely, from its resonance with the power of the moon goddess within him.

"The Argos Crystal," Zeratul's voice was unusually solemn, "is a sacred relic of our Nerazim, the source of our power. This is our sincerity."

The power of the moon goddess flowed silently within Elpis's body, and a voice from the depths of the universe clearly told him: he must obtain this Agos Crystal.

"Prophecy is a lighthouse in the fog, only able to show ships the possible dangers ahead." Elpis paused for a moment, his voice calm but with an unwavering determination, "But destiny itself can only be sculpted by the hand that wields the sword."

"Let's fight the darkness together," Elpis added. "We can agree on that."
