The Bizarre Adventure of the Warhammer Guard
Chapter 94 The outcome is decided.
Vulcan's weapon had been separated from him and lay silently on the ground.
The beast glanced at the Primarch's weapon lying on the ground, then roughly tore off the power claw with its two broken claws. Its eyes were fixed on the Primarch in front of it, and it assumed a charging stance.
"You have never been a real threat," the Primarch roared, standing up abruptly. "You only distract us, allowing the real enemy to regroup and return."
As soon as he finished speaking, the two sides charged at each other, closing the distance between them. Suddenly, Vulcan reached out a hand to Doomsday Tremor and activated the miniature teleportation device he had installed on his warhammer.
The next moment, the warhammer appeared in the Primarch's hand. He raised the warhammer high and swung it down with a devastating blow to the side of the beast's head.
The blow struck the beast directly in the head. The divine power of the Doomsday Tremor tore through the beast's skin and muscles, leaving a huge wound on its head that exposed the skull inside.
"You're right, the Emperor's offspring." The beast took a few steps back and spoke in fluent Imperial High Gothic.
"Your empire has collapsed, and we are its end." The beast straightened up, blood gushing down his face, revealing a crack in his skull.
The beast lowered its head, and with a roar, a surge of green energy covered the wound, which healed completely in the blink of an eye.
"Are you tired, son of the Emperor?" the beast asked, a shockwave from its body erupting with an energy pulse. "Is this your strongest attack?"
"Then you should try this!" Vulcan roared in response.
With a roar from both sides, the two charged again. Vulcan hurled his warhammer at the beast, but it was blocked by the beast's arm.
The two then clashed, with Vulcan locking the beast's waist with both hands, while the beast locked itself off from above, and they engaged in a struggle.
Vulcan's feet sank deep into the temple floor, cracks spreading like a spiderweb beneath his feet. A grin spread across the beast's face; he was thoroughly enjoying the moment.
The Primarch fought back desperately, but his sheer strength was no match for that of the beast. He was pushed backward, leaving two broken tracks on the ground.
At this moment, they were getting closer and closer to the edge of the pit. Elpis saw the Primarch's gaze directed at him, and he knew that the time had come to eliminate the beast.
Elpis gripped the Spear of the Moon tightly with both hands, aimed it at the beast on his back, and as the energy was fully charged, the intricate patterns on the spear lit up one by one.
Then the energy annihilation cannon fired, and a ball of silvery-white energy, carrying destructive power, slammed straight into the back of the beast, which was completely focused on the struggle.
The beast suddenly sensed a deadly threat behind it, but it had no time to dodge. It could only raise the Waaagh force field shield on its back and let the energy pour onto its body.
The silvery-white ball of light slammed into the green force field shield on the beast's back. In an instant, the green shield was melted away, and the light slammed solidly into the beast's unarmored back.
The blood and flesh on the beast's back were obliterated, but the vertebrae and white ribs on its back, as well as the writhing internal organs in its chest cavity, could be clearly seen.
For the first time, the beast's massive body shook violently, letting out a howl that was a mixture of excruciating pain and rage, and the power gathered in its body faltered.
It was this fleeting vulnerability.
"For the Emperor!" With the pressure suddenly relieved, Vulcan's eyes flashed with a sharp light. He used all his strength to pull himself to the side, using his own weight to fall into the deep pit with the beast.
The unbalanced beast was pulled tumbling down by the Primarch's selfless yank. The beast tried to break free as it fell, but Vulcan's arms held it firmly in place.
They continued their descent, getting closer and closer to the energy core. The Primarch stretched out his right hand, and the Doomsday Tremor reappeared in his grasp.
Vulcan knew that the energy emanating from the core alone would not be enough to kill the beast. So, at the last moment before reaching the core, he turned around and unleashed his final blow on the strange beast-like creature.
The attacked energy core shattered, and the immense power it contained exploded, instantly engulfing the Primal and the Beast.
The terrifying energy radiation instantly scorched everything on their bodies. The dragon scales turned red and melted rapidly in the energy torrent, followed by the flesh and bones of the dragon lord.
At the moment Vulcan was consumed by Waaagh energy, he felt the power of Ulano itself surging wildly into his body.
He witnessed the beast tide of Ulanor and was there in person. He felt as if he were trapped in the vast network of Waaagh Fields that spanned countless galaxies, with countless pieces of information flooding towards him.
This force even reverberates through the river of time; its birth surpassed the great rebellion of Horus, the establishment of the human empire, and went directly back to the origins of the orcs.
Vulcan felt himself becoming one with the nature of the green-skinned orcs. He saw two enormous green-skinned creatures wrestling and beating each other bare-handed in space long before the birth of humankind.
Vulcan saw the truth: the appearance of the beasts, seemingly accidental, was in fact inevitable. These beastmen were constantly destroyed and reborn; they underwent continuous trials and refinements, ultimately evolving.
Their evolution gave rise to beasts, which in turn accelerated the evolution of the entire orc race.
From cold weapons to firearms, from gunpowder weapons to energy weapons, from space wrecks to the battle moon, and even Ulano itself.
Battle Moons are not combat platforms, or rather, they are more than just combat platforms. In the orc engineers' design, they were a giant teleportation beacon, and the one on Terra was their prototype.
The Beast was not premature as Vulcan claimed; he had already planned everything. He would avenge the slaughtered orcs and destroy the emperor who had brought shame upon them.
In this madness that sweeps across the entire galaxy, his power will be terrifyingly amplified, and he will become the ruler of the galaxy.
And now, in that fleeting moment of rage, Vulcan realized that they had found Terra. They had found the Throne World, and humanity had proven itself powerless to retaliate.
Once this technology is perfected and proven to be feasible, will they transform the entire Ulanoro into a Battle Moon-like model, directly moving the entire world above Terra?
The Primarch dared not think too much. His deeply buried memories were awakened, and he glimpsed some of the contents. He knew what he should do at this moment.
He stopped resisting, opened his mind, and allowed his Primitive nature to merge with the orc's savage essence.
Vulcan frantically absorbed the orcs' primal power. He sensed that the beast had not died immediately, and that it was preparing to reclaim the orc primal power he had plundered.
But it was too late. The Lord of Fire Dragons had already grasped the truth, and the beasts were no match for him.
In the strange space where energy was generated, the Primarch and the Beast transformed into humanoid figures of equal height, engaging in a final struggle.
They are infinitely large, and at the same time infinitely small.
The next moment, the "beast" crashed to the ground.
The outcome is decided.
