The primordial era began with the Upper Cave Man.

Chapter 901 Primordial Spirit Great Luo: No Cause, No Effect

I could also be one of the Three Sovereigns; this is a consensus among many great gods.

If Fuxi designated the Heavenly Emperor, then what about the Earthly Emperor and the Human Emperor? Since someone has to take the position anyway, they can also join the human race and become the creators and perpetuators of human civilization.

If the Three Sovereigns must be called Shennong and Xuanyuan, then they can simply change their names. It's just a name, isn't it? What's wrong with changing them to Shennong or Xuanyuan?

Just be yourself, why get caught up in the details?

The most important thing is to attain the state of Hunyuan. If one can reach such a state and be comparable to a saint, then what harm is there in achieving sainthood through merit?

Therefore, the flexibility and limits of these experts far exceed our expectations.

Who knows, one day Luo Zu might recall a voice in his heart: "Fellow Daoist, does the Earth Emperor need any more people? Do I look like the Earth Emperor?"

Then it will look like a weasel begging for a title. Although the prestige will drop drastically, the dough itself will be worthless.

After all, some Great Luo Wuji are actually a combination of contradictions, and their own spirituality may not be able to overcome the nature of the Great Dao.

This is also a deficiency in their cultivation, but they accept it willingly, without rebellion, and obey it. They are not as good as some innate spiritual treasures, who always want to break free from the constraints of the spiritual treasure body and must reincarnate into the world to obtain a body that can be cultivated and is not restricted by the laws.

Luo Zu was too lazy to care about these things anymore; he was focused on his cultivation.

Now, we have witnessed many intangible and formless meanings, especially in this mysterious universe. In fact, those ancient times were all shapeless. This is also Donghuang Taiyi's explanation of such concepts, which is also of some benefit to Luo Zu in the Yuan Shen Daluo realm.

This is pushing his cultivation to new heights, bringing him ever closer to the formless and shapeless first realm of the Great Luo Primordial Spirit.

Now, he is cultivating the realm of no cause and no effect. Cultivating in this realm does not have many restrictions. It is not that you must continue to cultivate from the first realm to the second realm. You can also cultivate another realm in advance, or multiple realms at the same time, or even cultivate the later realms first. This is the unrestrained and transcendent state of the Great Luo realm. Even the realm cannot restrict one's thoughts and will.

"Without cause and effect, cause and effect have no inherent path. They do not exist innately but are born after birth. However, in the beginning of the universe, this path did not exist. Later, when the innate beings in the world met each other, they formed connections, and even hated, competed, and loved each other. In this way, this great path came into being, but it was only secretly created and could not be manifested."

Once the Great Dao of Cause and Effect is established, it becomes like a dense net, drawing all living beings and things in the world into it. Even saints are entangled in cause and effect. Fortunately, saints can easily break free from these causes and effects. Even the Great Luo Wuji has such means, not bound by cause and effect.

However, cause and effect are like a net. Even if you do not get caught in it, you will inevitably be involved in it while living in the world. Only by using great wisdom and perseverance can you avoid being involved.

How many people in the world possess such great wisdom?

Or one can plunge headlong into the boundless chaos, no longer subject to the thoughts of all things and sentient beings, not even to verbal or mental chanting, thus avoiding the entanglement of cause and effect.

Luo Zu thought of this and naturally had a plan in mind, but how difficult it was.

The human race is a huge mess, and now there's a whole bunch of Great Luo Immortals watching him and thinking about him, especially the Lich and Demon races, who have never stopped thinking about him.

If one cannot sever such thoughts, one will not be able to escape the web of cause and effect.

Therefore, Luo Zu fell into a self-proving trap. If he wanted to extricate himself from cause and effect, he would have to sever all ties with all things in the world. But this was impossible. Wouldn't this prove that all the Great Luo Wuji and all the saints were also within cause and effect and had not yet reached the state of no cause and no effect?

To go a step further, there was a mistake in the realm he opened up, and he needed to open a new realm.

This would lead to a state of self-doubt, making it difficult to advance further in the Great Luo realm of the Primordial Spirit, which would also affect the growth of one's cultivation in the Great Luo Heavenly Palace.

Fortunately, once you reach the Great Luo realm, you are permanently certified. In a literal sense, there is no risk of falling back to the Great Luo realm unless you perish and start over.

Alternatively, one could ask a great immortal who cultivates the Dao of Nirvana and Limitlessness to completely destroy one's cultivation, and then send one's true spirit into reincarnation to cultivate anew.

Fortunately, Luo Zu had long ago established the state of no cause and no effect, so that worldly causes and effects did not affect him, and he was not subject to worldly schemes. Even if Da Luo and Da Luo Wuji tried to scheme against him, they could not get him involved.

Only in this way can one be called a good Great Luo, a true Great Luo. But in this way, one must be constantly vigilant and maintain this state of being, otherwise, if one encounters a disaster, this state of being will fall.

"To handle affairs with tact and self-satisfaction, so that no worldly calculations or predictions can confine me, is to be without cause and effect." (End of Chapter)
