Ground football: Ronaldo thought I was going to assist him

At this stage, Sporting Lisbon and Porto are not far apart in points, and the remaining opponents in the cup competition are not weak either. If they are not well prepared, they may really suffer a double upset.

This is exactly what the fans least want to see.

However, there is some good news: the pressure on Porto is also very high.

They are currently fighting on three fronts almost simultaneously.

They successfully advanced through the UEFA Cup play-offs to the knockout stage.

March 10th, the 26th round of the Portuguese Primeira Liga.

Sporting Lisbon defeated Santa Clara 3-0.

Reina made several brilliant saves in this match, which served as a counterpoint to Arsenal's poor performance.

He was subjected to a wave of online harassment from Barcelona at that time, and he almost broke down.

It was Deng Kai who approached Reina and told him that even if Schmeichel recovered from his injury, Sporting Lisbon would still start Reina in their final group stage match against Barcelona.

Encouraged, Reina regained his confidence and quickly adapted to the team's game.

On March 11, a plane full of "black and white" flew to Lisbon.

The east wind blows, the war drums beat, Juventus fears no one!

The former Serie A champions, now second in the league, have arrived in Lisbon to take all three points at the Alvalade Stadium.

Currently, they, like Sporting Lisbon, only have four points, trailing Barcelona and Arsenal with seven points each.

The team that's currently ahead of Juventus in the Serie A standings is none other than Inter Milan, who had a very poor season last year.

The acquisition of Viana and the disposal of players like the underperforming Pirlo have made Inter Milan's squad structure relatively healthy.

Pirlo: ? ? ?

The reason I say "relatively" is because they have too many strikers, but very few of them are truly effective.

However, Inter Milan fans still feel unsatisfied with last season.

The main reason is Lippi.

This mole acted like he didn't understand tactics when he was coaching Inter Milan last season.

As a result, he suddenly became a tactical mastermind again this season while leading Juventus.

By moving Nedved from midfield to attacking midfield, Juventus transformed their parallel midfield into a diamond midfield, employing a variety of tactics with considerable success.

It's really... If it weren't for Hector Cooper's arrival, international fans would almost think that all their players were flops.

When Cooper arrived, everyone realized that Inter Milan's players were actually quite capable.

So where do you think the problem lies?

Lippi's professionalism and character have therefore been questioned to some extent.

Of course, some people say that Inter Milan really couldn't carry the team that year.

Both sides announced their starting lineups before the match.

Juventus remains the same as always:

Del Piero, Trezeguet

Davis, Nedved, Conte, Zambrotta

Pessotto, Ferrara, Montero, Thuram

Buffon.

Among them, the original key defensive midfielder Tacchinardi was unwell, and veteran Conte took the starting position.

That's right, it's the future legendary coach Conte.

In actual games, Davis will play a slightly deeper position, also serving a defensive role.

Nedved's position was further forward, playing as an attacking midfielder, completely replacing Zidane's role at Juventus.

Sporting Lisbon has seen significant changes:

Cristiano Ronaldo, Didier Drogba, Yobu

Deng Kai, Xiao Luo

Guardiola, Pepe

Barzagli, Vidic, Maicon

Reina.

In the attacking third, due to Kaká's injury, Sporting Lisbon simply moved Yin Bu up the pitch.

This arrangement is intentional.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, Yin Bu will become a key pivot for Sporting Lisbon in the attacking third.

Because Pessotto, who was matched up against Yin Bu, was only 1.73 meters tall.

The adorable height difference of over 20 centimeters is Sporting Lisbon's open strategy.

Moreover, Yin Bu has good footwork skills, and if he gets the ball, it's almost impossible for Pessotto to take it away from him.

This will inevitably draw out Juventus' left center-back, Ferrara.

In the defensive midfield position, with Matthäus sidelined due to injury, Toure's performance in the starting lineup has been mediocre.

The selection of Pepe, a versatile player in the backfield, reflects Sporting Lisbon's cautious approach, highlighting his defensive capabilities.

After all, they suffered a 4-0 defeat against Juventus last time.

The inclusion of Maicon in the three-defender formation reflects Sporting Lisbon's tactical consistency.

With Yin Bu becoming a stable ball-handler on the right wing, various tactics will inevitably be developed around him.

The fitting of the vent is therefore particularly important.

This is why Guardiola, who usually plays in the right defensive midfield position, moved to the left today.

Pepe can fill the defensive gaps left by Maicon when he goes up on the right flank.

Anyone with tactical knowledge can basically guess Sporting Lisbon's playing style just by looking at this formation.

There are no secrets to tactics.

Even the most secretive tactics will be quickly discovered by the enemy once they are used.

Juventus made corresponding tactical changes to their defense in response to Sporting Lisbon's lineup.

Davies was completely reassigned from left winger to left defensive midfielder, with the main task of double-teaming Yin Bu and also limiting Ronaldinho.

……

The match between the two sides kicked off quickly.

Sure enough, in the ninth minute, Sporting Lisbon used Imbula as a pivot to pass the ball to Ronaldinho, thus creating a free kick in the attacking third.

Unfortunately, Deng Kai's foot hadn't even warmed up before his free kick went wide of the goal.

In the 18th minute, Yin Bu received the ball again.

He shoved Pessotto aside, then turned and feinted before devouring Pessotto whole, then pinned both Pessotto and Davis behind him.

Ferrara burst out of the penalty area and charged toward Yinbu.

Ronaldinho made a forward run into the middle, drawing Montero's attention.

Drogba, positioned between the two center-backs, launched an attack, heading straight for the penalty area.

boom!

Yin Bu delivered a through ball.

Because of Davis's attack from behind, this through ball was of poor quality.

However, the advantage lay in the fact that the opponent's defense had been completely torn apart, leaving ample room for passing, so it was still a good pass.

Buffon strikes!

Drogba received the ball but didn't have time to adjust, and Buffon seized the perfect opportunity to come out.

Facing the onrushing Buffon, Drogba could only attempt a single shot.

But there's not enough leg position to go around completely.

The ball eventually hit Buffon and was cleared by Montero who was chasing back.

Despite failing to score, Sporting Lisbon dominated the game against Juventus.

Juventus have indeed figured out Sporting Lisbon's tactical patterns, but the most important thing in defense is to limit the performance of the opposing players.

And Yin Bu... this player left a deep impression on Juventus.

That's incredible!

They're practically omnipotent!

In response, Deng Kai could only say that you still don't understand my Great Fengxian enough.

Whether our Great Fengxian is weak when facing strong opponents is debatable, but it is certain that it is strong when facing weak opponents.

Once you make him feel like "the opponent is nothing special," then you really don't have much of a chance.

Some people say this type of player is bad?

Please, snowballing is a skill too.

I like playing football on the ground: Ronaldo thought I was going to assist him.
