Ground football: Ronaldo thought I was going to assist him

Cristiano Ronaldo immediately lunged at Hierro.

However, Hierro was positioned further back, observing his teammates' runs before unleashing a powerful kick.

boom!

Hierro completed the long pass before Ronaldo arrived.

The football flew to the right.

Toure's forward run created space for Ribery.

Ribery successfully controlled the ball.

Phil didn't try to take the bait from Ribery; he opted for a conservative approach.

Ribery may not be able to control the ball perfectly.

After stopping the ball, Phil briefly blocked it, and Giggs then tracked back to defend.

boom!

A cow's tail passes by.

Ribery nutmegged Phil.

Dribble down to the byline.

In the middle, Adriano and Toure, who had adjusted their positions, both broke into the penalty area.

Baggio will be here soon too.

Deng Kai is also not far from the top of the arc.

boom!

Ribery makes a cross pass.

Adriano positioned himself inside the penalty area and had a fierce collision with Ferdinand.

This season, with the arrival of Ferdinand, Manchester United's defense has improved significantly.

People are saying that both Cristiano Ronaldo and Ferdinand were very successful deals.

Besides his superior defensive awareness compared to ordinary English center-backs, Ferdinand also possesses extremely explosive physical attributes.

But this time, Adriano actually withstood Ferdinand's charge.

boom!

Adriano dribbled past Ferdinand with a back turn.

But Ferdinand, as this summer's most expensive transfer, is by no means undeserving of his reputation. His physical confrontations are not entirely ineffective; Adriano stumbled after spiking the ball due to the impact of his collision.

Given that Adriano's model is already quite large, he was temporarily unable to keep up with the ball.

O'Shea rushed over and, falling to the ground, delivered a flying tackle in an attempt to clear the way.

but……

boom!

A figure forcefully cut between Adriano and O'Shea, unleashing a powerful kick before being tackled down by O'Shea.

The soccer ball went straight into the net.

The figure rolled onto O'Shea, but immediately flipped over and got up.

"Goal! Kick-off smash!"

"Manchester City have scored a stunning early goal! Duncan helps his team score an incredible goal!"

"Adriano delivered a beautiful assist. Although his intention may not have been to assist, it is quite an achievement to do so while being marked by the most expensive center-back in the Premier League."

"Deng Kai's forward run was very timely! O'Shea's cover was a little too slow... O'Shea received a yellow card! The referee clearly considered his sliding tackle a dangerous move."

"Manchester City take the lead! Manchester City lead Manchester United 1-0!"

"This is Manchester City! Before the match, everyone said there was only one Manchester, but now it seems that Duncan is more of a man!"

"The King of Manchester never occupies a lake! Is Duncan really going to be crowned king today?"

The camera focused on Deng Kai.

Manchester City players are gathered together celebrating.

The camera then focused on Cristiano Ronaldo.

Cristiano Ronaldo looked speechless. This was clearly a defensive blunder, why are you filming me? You idiot!

The visual language in this shot is very rich.

With this goal, Duncan once again caught up with Henry, tying him for the top spot in the Premier League scoring charts.

Manchester United's two star strikers, Cristiano Ronaldo and Ruud van Nistelrooy, can only be ranked behind them.

Manchester City fans sang and danced in the stands at Main Road Stadium.

Manchester United fans could only shrug.

The fifth minute.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Paul Scholes, and David Beckham suddenly pressed forward, the three of them joining forces to besiege Manchester City's defense.

Van Nistelrooy blocked Chiellini's pass back to the goalkeeper.

Leman moved to the right side of the penalty area to receive the pass.

However, Chiellini was not as composed as he appeared. In his panic, he made a mistake in his return pass, and the pass lacked power.

Cristiano Ronaldo immediately rushed towards the ball.

Lehman's run wasn't decisive enough; he didn't continue running towards the ball and match Ronaldo's speed.

Instead, they slowed down to prepare for a save.

On the sidelines, Guardiola shook his head.

According to Deng Kai's tactical requirements, Lehman must fight to the bitter end.

Even if they ultimately lost to Ronaldo's speed, they shouldn't give up halfway.

Cech is doing this very well so far.

Of course, that's why Cech got completely destroyed.

As for Manchester, Deng Kai had no expectations of him; you can't expect a 33-year-old veteran to change his playing habits.

This is not realistic.

boom!

Ronaldo, having caught up with the ball, didn't hesitate at all and immediately chipped it over the goalkeeper with a first-time shot.

The ball flew over Manchester City and into their goal with ease.

This is Cristiano Ronaldo's confidence in his shooting skills.

Near the penalty spot, Van Nistelrooy, who was holding out his arms for the ball, looked a little speechless, but he quickly adjusted his mindset and celebrated the goal with Ronaldo.

Van Nistelrooy was clearly in a better position.

If Ronaldo makes a cross, Van Nistelrooy will have an open goal.

Of course, from Ronaldo's perspective... Holy crap, one defender and a huge open space! He's definitely going to shoot, why even pass?

Van Nistelrooy: Yeah, yeah, yeah, just asking how many people are guarding you and you're not wide open?

"One to one! Manchester United truly lives up to their reputation as Manchester United! This is the strength of the Premier League leaders."

"Less than five minutes after conceding the goal, Ronaldo's lobbed shot helped the team equalize the score."

"Both of the former Sporting Lisbon stars scored. It's truly remarkable how they were a blazing fire when they were together, and a sky full of stars when they were apart."

"It's not just Duncan and Ronaldo; Ronaldinho and Quaresma from Barcelona, Viana from Inter Milan, Drogba from Marseille, and Yin Bu from Ajax have all had outstanding seasons."

"Except for Kaká of AC Milan, who has to sit on the bench and wait for his chance because there are too many superstars in the same position, the young players of Lisbon are doing quite well."

"Of course, Fonte is no different from when he was in Lisbon. He still sits on the bench for a long time and is almost covered in dust."

Fonte: ? ? ?

Fonte: Nonsense, I'm already the king of the bench, that's the limit, bro... You can't possibly compete with Kai for the throne, can you?

Sixteenth minute.

Deng Kai chipped a pass to Adriano, who had moved out of the penalty area.

Ferdinand's defensive instincts were very sharp; he followed Adriano out and put pressure on him.

Adriano's back-to-goal passing was affected, resulting in poor passes.

This resulted in the ball not falling into Ribery's expected range when he caught up.

Ribery's one-touch shot was programmed perfectly, so naturally it couldn't be higher.

His shot was weak and feeble, easily caught by Barthez.

Manchester United fans booed and mocked Ribery's shot.

Twenty-seventh minute.

Beckham made a quick pass, moving the ball from the right wing to the left.

Giggs has the ball on the wing.

Cristiano Ronaldo actively moved to the wing to receive the ball.

After Giggs passed the ball to Ronaldo, he moved laterally and came to the flank.

This created a lot of difficulties for Essien's defense.

boom!

Cristiano Ronaldo dribbled the ball and executed a series of stepovers, going one-on-one with Maicon.

Two seconds later, Ronaldo suddenly dribbled the ball inside and outmaneuvered Maicon.

Maicon chased after Ronaldo, looking utterly speechless.

As a former teammate, he certainly knew that Ronaldo was going to cut inside.

But it was too fast.

I like playing football on the ground: Ronaldo thought I was going to assist him.
