Ground football: Ronaldo thought I was going to assist him

Following the match, news that "Large numbers of England fans gathered to support Duncan's upset of Oscar" dominated the headlines of major media outlets.

So much so that Manchester United's 4-0 thrashing of Liverpool, their victory in the Merseyside derby, and their equalization of Arsenal's points in the league standings all had to be ranked second.

Even in the world of football, gossip stole the headlines at this time.

Oscar is trying to regain public trust in them through more diverse means.

It wasn't until April 12th, after the 33rd round of the Premier League, that related football industry news finally calmed down and returned to normal.

Manchester City played to a 0-0 draw at home against Middlesbrough in this round of matches.

Main Road Stadium was packed to capacity.

Meanwhile, Manchester United, led by Cristiano Ronaldo's hat-trick, thrashed Newcastle United 6-2, scoring five goals in two games and in red-hot form!

They remain level on points with Arsenal.

Arsenal are currently leading on goal difference.

But if they lose even one game, they're finished.

In the final sprint, the windbreaker always suffers a bit more.

People's attention on Manchester City has finally shifted from Deng Kai's entertainment news to the real sports category.

Because compared to Manchester City's "meaningless" Premier League matches, the next game is very important.

FA Cup semi-final!

For Manchester City, it doesn't matter which of the three teams they face – Arsenal, Blackburn Rovers, or Chelsea – because all three have recently thrashed them.

In the end, fate did not deliberately make things difficult for Manchester City.

Chelsea, neither good nor bad.

That's just fourth place in the Premier League.

Chelsea is currently embroiled in takeover rumors.

Russian oil tycoon Roman Abramovich is attempting to acquire Chelsea and move into the Premier League.

His actions have been interpreted in various ways, and his underlying commercial and political motives may be the main reasons for his choice to join the Premier League.

The situation remains unclear.

Because Manchester City has the same characteristics, only the ownership structure behind them is not as sensitive as Abramovich's, Manchester City captain Duncan was also asked by the media for his opinion on the matter.

Most people wouldn't respond to this.

But Deng Kai bluntly stated: "I think Abramovich's acquisition will be successful, and he will inject vitality into Chelsea and even the entire Premier League."

"Abramovich has a lot of money, but if he wants to enter the Premier League, there must be some hard requirements regarding investment."

"That's why I have high hopes for Chelsea's future."

"Some people say that Chelsea, which was acquired by Abramovich, might be very similar to our Manchester City, but I think that might not be the case. Chelsea might do something that will shock the whole of Europe."

Reporter: "Does that include making an offer to you?"

Deng Kai: "Personally, I don't recommend Abramovich buy me because I'm really too expensive."

Similarly, Chelsea's players have their own understanding of this topic.

Gianfranco Zola, hailed as Chelsea's greatest player in history, was not optimistic about the acquisition, believing that the Russian did not know how to run a Premier League club.

Chelsea midfield maestro Lampard also said that he "will consider his future career at Chelsea in light of the situation, and will give his all in every game until then."

Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Icelandic maestro Gudjohnsen, and Chelsea defensive cornerstone John Terry, among others, have all expressed their opinions.

Most of them don't have a high opinion of Abu, and they are more or less biased.

But Deng Kai assured that these players would soon change their minds.

With Abramovich's financial backing, he will become the most respected club president among Chelsea players.

……

April 15th, FA Cup semi-final.

Chelsea and Manchester City will meet at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.

This is Manchester City's second visit to this stadium this season; the first time was for the EFL Cup final.

Because Wembley Stadium is undergoing renovations, many matches that used to be played at Wembley will be moved to the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.

Fifty thousand fans flocked to the stadium to watch this clash between the two blue teams.

Chelsea are wearing their home blue kit.

Manchester City wore black away kits.

"Hello everyone, welcome to today's match. I'm Huang Jianxiang. Sitting next to me are Zhan Jun and He Wei. Mr. Han Qiaosheng missed his bus stop today and can't make it."

"This FA Cup semi-final is very important for both sides."

"Chelsea are no longer in contention for the title. The FA Cup is their only chance to win this season."

"Their lineup today can be described as the best of the best."

"Up front, it's Gudjohnsen, Hasselbaink, and Zola—the trio often referred to as Chelsea's Premier League attacking trident! Their firepower is formidable this season!"

"The midfield consists of Petit, Lampard, and Maurice."

"After a dark half-season at Barcelona from Arsenal, Petit decisively transferred to Chelsea, where he continues to shine."

"Lampard has become the midfield linchpin of Chelsea since joining them. He is one of the best midfielders in England right now."

"People believe Lampard and Gerrard will form England's midfield duo. Add to that Beckham, Scholes, Keane, Owen, Fowler, Heskey... and England's attacking line will be a sight to behold!"

"The match between Lampard and Duncan is also the most important part of this game."

Up to this point, everything seemed normal.

But He Wei suddenly interrupted, saying, "Chelsea had previously beaten the opponent 3-0 and 5-0, leading many Chelsea fans to argue that Lampard is actually better than Duncan."

Manchester City fans say it's because Manchester City's focus isn't on the league.

"If Manchester City loses to Chelsea in a cup competition they value, then Duncan's fans probably won't have much to say, right?"

Zhan Jun smiled and said, "You can't say that, after all, there is still a significant gap in the overall strength of the two teams."

"Chelsea, who are fourth in the Premier League, and Manchester City, who are eleventh in the Premier League, cannot be compensated for by Duncan alone."

Huang Jianxiang kept rolling his eyes.

Every time Xiao Zhan says something that seems neutral, or even biased towards Kai, a closer analysis reveals that every sentence he says is essentially saying, "Your Kai isn't that strong."

Gao Wei is just a high-ranking official.

"In defense, from left to right, are Gallas, Terry, Graeme, and Mario, with Cudicini in goal." Huang Jianxiang first focused on his own duties, adding, "The rematch between Terry and Duncan is also a major highlight."

"Terry has stated in numerous interviews that his year on loan at Sporting Lisbon was very rewarding, perhaps even his most rewarding year."

"It's not just about honors like the UEFA Cup title, but also about understanding football, tactics, the team, and the leader."

I like playing football on the ground: Ronaldo thought I was going to assist him.
