Ground football: Ronaldo thought I was going to assist him

Jiang Yunzhu: "Congratulations, Zidane, you have become the FIFA World Player of the Year."

Zidane smiled broadly: "Thank you. I thought you were going to start the interview with a scathing critique. After all, I know you and Deng Kai are good friends."

Jiang Yunzhu blushed: "Of course not, you're very popular in China. Judging by the FIFA World Player of the Year award system, you definitely deserve to be chosen."

"And what about yourself? How do you view this award?"

Zidane said, "Actually, how I see it isn't important; how everyone else sees it is more important. Right now, everyone thinks Kai is the best footballer on Earth."

Jiang Yunzhu: "So, in your opinion, who is the strongest? At this stage?"

Zidane didn't hesitate: "Kay!"

Jiang Yunzhu was surprised: "I thought you would talk about yourself or your club teammate Ronaldo."

Zidane: "Of course, we've all done that at some point. But realistically, putting aside all distractions, I think Deng Kai is the best player in football right now."

Jiang Yunzhu: "So, what do you think about the upcoming Golden Globe Awards...?"

Zidane: "That's a matter for the judges, but I believe Kai will achieve something!"

Jiang Yunzhu: "Real Madrid and Sporting Lisbon were drawn into the same group this year. What are your thoughts on this team? We all know they beat you in the Champions League final two years ago!"

Zidane: "Sporting Lisbon is a good team, but they are absolutely no threat to Real Madrid."

"They were elevated to a level that was not their own by players like Duncan, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Kaka, Drogba, and Yinbu."

Jiang Yunzhu: "So, what's your assessment of Manchester City?"

Zidane: "Many people overlook Manchester City's strength, but I'm watching them. Manchester City is very likely to be one of the strongest teams in Europe this year."

"Because they haven't lost a single game so far. That's terrifying."

"And their offense is too flashy."

"Their defense was also better than people expected."

"But if I had to give them an assessment, I would say that Duncan has taken this team to a level that is beyond his reach. He has clearly done more at Manchester City than he did at Sporting Lisbon."

"If Manchester City's players can't keep up with the team's pace, they are very likely to disappoint the fans in the remainder of this season, and in next year and the year after."

"Because Manchester City will face increasingly stronger teams, and Duncan, who has become the world's number one player, will be noticed and limited by more opponents."

Jiang Yunzhu: "So, in your opinion, who in Manchester City has the potential to become Deng Kai's best helper when Manchester City faces truly strong opponents?"

Zidane shook his head: "It doesn't matter. As long as Deng Kai is there, it doesn't matter who's by his side."

"Deng Kai's attacking players are no longer Ronaldo, but look at Adriano's stats, are they worse than Ronaldo's? This is Deng Kai, this is the strength of the world's best player."

"As long as Deng Kai is on the court, we have to prioritize dealing with him! But that's difficult!"

"Just as no one can completely stop me and Ronaldo, no one will be able to completely stop Deng Kai for some time to come."

"If such a player exists, he would undoubtedly become the world's strongest defensive player at present. Real Madrid would be willing to spend over 50 million to buy such a player, even if all he can do is defend!"

This interview is very valuable.

But the most significant piece of information is that the "World Player of the Year" has acknowledged that Deng Kai is currently the world's number one ranked player!

That's enough!

The hurricane...it's really coming!

The winds of change swept through Manchester, across Europe, and then across the globe!

This kind of pace, this kind of spectacle... even people who never watch football can predict what will happen from the overwhelming media coverage.

Something big has definitely happened in the world of football.

Whether it's a TV series or a history book, whenever a true dragon is born, a king returns, or an emperor is crowned, the world is always thrown into turmoil!

……

December 23rd.

France, Paris, Théâtre du Châtelet.

The European Golden Globe Awards ceremony has begun!

On the red carpet, Kaka flashed a sunny smile and walked to the sign-in wall amidst a flurry of flashing lights.

Yes.

Kaka!

"If you know about Sporting Lisbon's miracle, you'll definitely recognize this handsome young man, Kaká!" The host was introducing Kaká to a global audience. "He spent two great years in the Portuguese league alongside players like Duncan, Cristiano Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Drogba, and others."

"After joining AC Milan, although he was a substitute player, Kaká made a name for himself in the Champions League semi-finals and finals last season, helping the Rossoneri lift the Champions League trophy."

"He is also the first player in Champions League history to win back-to-back titles!"

"In the summer, Kaká also won the Copa America with the Brazilian national team. This season, Kaká has become an absolute key player for AC Milan and has performed exceptionally well."

"These achievements also earned him a place on the Ballon d'Or shortlist of 30 for the first time!"

Kaka, ranked 30th in the Ballon d'Or.

From the perspective of honor, it's unfair to him.

From a competitive standpoint, Kaká's ranking is quite impressive considering he only played for half a year.

After all, he was a substitute for the Brazilian national team last year and didn't get many opportunities to play.

However, if Kaka achieves any further success after this, he could easily break into the top twenty.

After Kaká, Bergkamp, the "Ice Prince," walked the red carpet.

He is ranked 29th this year.

Given his age, it's unlikely he'll ever achieve such a high ranking again.

But... judging from Arsenal's unbeaten run of 17 Premier League matches this year, Bergkamp's ranking might continue to rise in the next few years, and he could return to his peak.

The 28th place is Inter Milan goalkeeper Francisco Toldo!

"Oh! Another member of the Sporting Lisbon miracle! Now approaching us is Ronaldinho, who finished 27th in the Ballon d'Or!"

"After a season of ups and downs, Ronaldinho may not have won a championship with Barcelona, but he has won over Barcelona fans with his incredible ability."

"He is now the undisputed core of the Barcelona team!"

The 26th place is Chelsea player Mutu, who just played against Manchester City.

The 25th place goes to Jan Koller, a giant from the Czech Republic who stands at 2.02 meters tall and currently plays for Borussia Dortmund.

The 24th is Filippo Inzaghi, the AC Milan superstar and "Fox in the Penalty Area" who played in the same team as Kaká.

"Haha, I knew it, this kind of thing would keep happening! Sporting Lisbon and Arsenal fans will definitely remember this player."

"He's the only player who, at 1.95 meters tall, can still embroider with his feet! Zlatan Imbrahimovic!"

I like playing football on the ground: Ronaldo thought I was going to assist him.
