Ground football: Ronaldo thought I was going to assist him

If Inter Milan can win the UEFA Cup this year, Viana's international reputation will receive a huge boost.

Behind Viana, the team's four midfielders are Kily Gonzalez, "Tank" Stankovic, Farinos, and Zanetti.

Zanetti's position was moved forward.

This season, the head coach has repeatedly tried him in the winger position, hoping to fully unleash his dominance on both ends of the pitch.

He's starting to play more and more like a midfielder.

On the Inter Milan side, Kily González and Deng Kai have actually been friends for a long time.

The two hadn't encountered each other directly before.

But when Deng Kai played for Sporting Lisbon against Lazio, he almost faced Kily.

At that time, Lazio's striker was Salas, who was known as the Chilean duo, alongside Zamorano.

When this guy said he wanted to transfer, Lazio wanted Kily even though they were not with Mendieta.

With the addition of Lopez last year, they are trying to give Mendieta the best environment to perform.

As a result, Salas changed his mind at the last minute and refused to leave again.

Kily never made it to Lazio.

If he had gone there back then, Mendieta might have been able to make a name for himself at Lazio with the help of his old teammate.

Kily later came to Inter Milan by chance, but he was not given important roles, and his career gradually declined.

This time, he only appeared in the starting lineup because a key player was injured.

At the start of the match, both sides launched aggressive attacks against each other.

This was a tentative exchange.

The first five minutes and the last ten minutes of the game are the periods when goals are most frequently scored.

Third minute.

Viana switched the ball in the middle, looking for Zanetti on the right wing.

Zanetti received the ball and immediately dribbled it to challenge the young Manchester City left-wing defender... Ashley Young!

Zanetti is not as fast as Ashley Young, but he is much more experienced.

First, he made a feint, then he flicked the ball and changed direction to gain position.

He then blocked Ashley Young and used the force of pushing Young to deliver a cross.

Inside the Manchester City penalty area.

The 1.9-meter-tall Cruise leaped high into the air.

Neither Chiellini nor Thiago Silva were as tall as Cruz, and after Cruz jumped first, they were helpless.

boom!

Cruz unleashed a powerful header, slamming it into the Manchester City goal.

Cech's instinctive save was futile.

"Goal! Too fast!"

"Inter Milan scored a lightning-fast goal just three minutes into the game!"

"The aggregate score is now 2-2! Inter Milan has taken the lead with an away goal!"

"Cruz is truly a phenomenal player! His goal-scoring efficiency has always been very high."

"Inter Milan should really consider making him their starting striker. At least I don't think he's that much worse than Ibrahimovic!"

The San Siro stadium echoed with the cheers of Inter Milan fans.

They sang and danced, full of confidence in the competition.

The camera focused on Inter Milan president Moratti, who was smiling very kindly.

This is the Inter Milan he built with huge investments, a world-class football powerhouse!

Eighth minute.

After receiving the ball in the middle, Deng Kai dribbled past the onrushing Farinos with a frizzy dribble.

Inter Milan played with confidence and even tried to make a run in midfield.

Not only did I fail to snag a spot this time, but the door was wide open!

If the defensive midfielder is beaten, it means that Deng Kai has a clear path ahead and can pass the ball to any position.

boom!

Deng Kai made a through pass to the front of the left flank.

Today's starting striker, Torres, cut inside without the ball.

Zanetti was positioned too far forward and failed to catch Torres initially, and subsequently had no chance to catch him at all.

The difference between Torres and Villa is that... Torres is incredibly fast!

It wasn't just Zanetti.

Inter Milan's right center-back Materazzi also failed to keep up with Torres.

Torres, who started later, was half a body length ahead of them.

Of course, Materazzi blocked Torres's path into the penalty area.

Because Torres is on the outside, he has to run a few more steps to cut inside.

boom!

Torres crossed the penalty area but didn't go in; instead, he dribbled the ball vertically to the left side of the penalty area.

Then he swept a cross into the penalty area.

The camera then shifts to the restricted area.

A shocking scene unfolded.

A white figure dashed into Inter Milan's penalty area.

Inter Milan's home kit is blue and black.

Manchester City's home kit is light blue, and their away kit is black, both of which clash somewhat with Inter Milan's colors.

According to regulations, they wore almost pure white third jerseys for this match.

The burly man in white was shoving Cannavaro behind him and crowding Cordoba in front of him.

It turned into a sandwich cookie.

However, this sandwich cookie stubbornly stretched out its big black leg, touched the football first, and completed the shot.

Even two of Serie A's top defenders couldn't stop this player from scoring.

He is... Manchester City's top striker this season, one of Inter Milan's former star players, and the next Ronaldo—Adriano!

"Goal!"

"Adriano!"

"That's insane!"

"Neither Cordoba nor Cannavaro could stop Adriano!"

"He advanced into the penalty area like a tank!"

"At this moment, I feel like Vieri and Ronaldo have possessed me! Adriano isn't fighting alone!"

Huang Jianxiang was excited.

Similarly, Adriano was also excited.

This goal has a special meaning for him.

After all, he's a player who came from Inter Milan.

He was once highly regarded by the people here.

But after going to Manchester City, he was eventually traded to Manchester City for good.

On the one hand, this proves that Manchester City has high hopes for him.

However, this also indicates that he failed to meet Inter Milan's expectations last season.

He disappointed the people here.

And now...

Adriano looked around. Would these fans... still think he wasn't strong enough this time?

"Oh!" Deng Kai signaled to his teammates not to approach Adriano.

"Inter Milan is Adriano's former club, and he didn't celebrate this goal; he still cherishes old friendships."

"Inter Milan fans did not boo."

"Although they are behind now, Ad was once the crown prince here."

"This is a touching story."

"With Adriano's outstanding performance this season, many Inter Milan fans have suggested that the team buy him back."

"Ad's performance will only solidify their buying intentions."

"But I wonder if Adriano will have any reservations? After all... it would be a little strange if he eliminated his own team for next season."

"Of course, that's just a joke. Manchester City has no reason to let go of a striker as outstanding, as rare, and as once-in-a-decade as Adriano."
