But upon closer reflection, Song Guangliang realized that he hadn't actually seen Hou Cuicui go to his house; he had only heard about it secondhand.

Just as Chunsheng was wondering what was going on, Hongqin arrived.

She first cautiously observed her surroundings, and after making sure no one was paying attention, she looked at Chunsheng with a mischievous grin and asked in a low voice, "Is it true?"

Chunsheng frowned, feigning ignorance, and asked, "What's true or false?"

Hongqin smiled and said, "What else could it be? Of course, it's about that bourgeois young lady visiting your house. Is it true?"

Chunsheng looked at Hongqin, his expression suddenly changing. He smiled wryly and said, "Look at my expression, does it seem real?"

Hongqin shivered. "Oh my! It's so similar!"

Chunsheng immediately looked away and explained to Hongqin, "This is the machine operation manual from my brother-in-law's workplace. I'm translating it for him!"

Hongqin exclaimed in surprise, "What is this? The machine's operation manual? Let me take a closer look."

As Hongqin spoke, she picked up the "Machinery and Equipment Operation Manual" and began to read it.

After flipping through a few pages, she exclaimed in surprise, "There are so many words in here that I don't recognize! And the sentences are all so long, some of them are just a single sentence!"

Chunsheng smiled and quickly comforted him, "I didn't understand it at first either. I looked up the unfamiliar words in the dictionary and then I understood everything."

"So, you're the same; as long as you have an English dictionary, you'll be able to understand it right away."

Chunsheng knew Hongqin too well. She was always competitive and would be upset for days if she felt inferior to others.

However, Hongqin's competitive spirit has always been positive; she will quickly identify the gap between herself and others and then do everything she can to catch up.

Just like last time at Chunsheng's house, after witnessing Chunsheng and Li Yufeng communicating fluently in English, she went home and began to practice her spoken English diligently.

Although the effect was minimal, she did not give up. Sometimes, on the way to and from school, she would force Chunsheng to communicate with her in English from time to time!
