Chapter 88 Solo's Idol
Chapter 88 Solo's Idol
Planet Arantis.
Under the purple sky, five fireballs streaked across the heavens, leaving long trails like five burning meteors.
"Whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh!"
Five spherical spaceships descended from the sky, their tails spewing out scorching air currents that tore through the atmosphere with a sharp, piercing sound.
They crashed heavily onto the planet Arantis, causing the ground to tremble violently and soil to fly in all directions.
"Boom!"
With a series of earth-shattering roars, five large impact craters instantly appeared on the surface of the planet Arantis.
The pit walls were charred black, wisps of smoke rose from them, and rubble was scattered around.
Fortunately, the spaceship landed in an uninhabited plain, surrounded only by barren grasslands and scattered shrubs, so no innocent people were harmed.
However, even if they land in the city, the depth of the underground where the safe house is located will not cause them any harm.
"Crunch!"
The spaceship's hatch opened, and white mist billowed out from the gaps.
The five members of the Ginyu Force emerged one by one from the five spherical spaceships and hovered at low altitude.
Gis pressed the button on the detector and glanced at the screen.
"Captain, Lord Frieza wants us to go to Namek immediately." Geese tilted his head, looking up from the screen at Ginyu. "What are we doing on Planet Arlandis?"
"I've heard the wines on this planet are quite unique," Ginyu said with a slight smile, arms crossed. "I plan to bring some back for Lord Frieza to taste."
"I see." Bate nodded, a smile spreading across his face.
"Lord Frieza will surely praise us greatly!" Recoome grinned, hands on his hips.
"Yes, yes," Guldo echoed, nodding his head like a chicken pecking at rice.
Gis pressed the detector on his glasses, and a red beam shot out from the lenses, scanning the surroundings.
His eyes darted across the screen, searching for any signs of life on the planet.
After this search, Giss couldn't help but be slightly taken aback.
"Strange!" Geese muttered, tapping his finger twice on the probe. "Why isn't there a single human reacting on this planet? It seems like there are only some small animals."
"That can't be right," Bart shook his head. "Didn't we sense human combat power values during the previous probe? I remember the highest combat power on this planet was around 100."
"They probably knew we were coming and hid beforehand." Ginyu smiled contemptuously, his lips curving slightly downward. "Find a way to locate them."
"Yes, Captain!" Geese and the others replied in unison, straightening their backs.
Several people floated into the sky and once again used probes to search the entire planet.
The detector's screen flickered and flickered, and the numbers jumped around.
After searching for a while, we still found nothing.
The screen was completely clean, showing no signs of human energy.
"They're hiding really well," Geese frowned, asking curiously, "Where could they be hiding?"
"They might have a device specifically designed to block the detectors," Ginyu guessed, rubbing his chin twice. "They're quite wary!"
"Let's search with our eyes first," Recoum suggested, placing his hand on his forehead and peering into the distance like through a telescope. "Let's see if there are any large cities."
"Let's go." Ginyu nodded in agreement.
Several people were flying through the air at high speed, their bodies gliding across the purple sky, while their eyes scanned the earth below.
"The gravity on this planet is so weak!" Bart chuckled, his body twirling lightly in the air. "I feel like my speed has increased again, under this gravity!"
"Indeed." Ginyu nodded, arms crossed. "The gravity on this planet is half that of a normal planet."
"No wonder the combat capabilities of the humans on this planet are so weak." Recoome chuckled and stretched.
About half an hour later.
The five Ginyu friends finally found a city that was not too big.
This is Solo, a city on the planet Arantis.
The city is built on the mountainside, with white buildings layered upon each other, stretching from the foot of the mountain all the way to the mountainside.
The streets are wide and clean, with purple flowers and plants planted on both sides.
At this moment, the entire city is deserted, with only the wind blowing through the empty streets, swirling up a few fallen leaves.
A huge statue of a god stands in the center of the city.
The statues are sculpted to lifelike detail, with every strand of hair and every fold of clothing meticulously crafted.
His facial features were well-defined, and the corners of his mouth were slightly upturned, carrying a gentle smile.
Almost exactly like Solo.
The statue is at least twenty meters tall, made entirely of metal, and painted white, gleaming brilliantly in the sunlight.
The base is engraved with two lines of large characters, which are the ancient script of the planet Atlantis.
"Captain, there's a statue over there!" Geese pointed to the statue below and said with a smile.
"It looks a bit like a god from a planet." Ginyu smiled, his gaze lingering on the statue for a second.
"Hmm?" Bart pointed to the tail behind the statue, his brow furrowing slightly. "This thing has a tail; could it be a Saiyan?"
"I've heard that all the humans on this planet are women with cat ears, and there are no men," Recoome analyzed. "But judging from the appearance of this statue, it's clearly a man."
"So?" Ginyu smiled and glanced at Recoome. "So what does that prove?"
"So I think—" Recoome chuckled, scratching the back of his head, "could it be a man these women have imagined?"
"There are offerings over there near the statue," Ginyu said, pointing to the offerings below and tilting his chin in that direction. "See if there's any wine."
Five people descended from the sky, their bodies falling from the air and their feet landing on the stone slab in front of the statue.
The stone slabs were wiped very clean and were covered with fresh fruit, pastries, and rows of wine bottles.
Sure enough, there were quite a lot of offerings here.
The fruits are plump and vibrant, and the pastries are exquisite and delicate, including the fine wine that Ginyu is looking for.
The bottle is made of transparent glass, and the liquid inside is clear and transparent, shimmering slightly in the sunlight.
Giss stepped forward, bent down, picked up a bottle of wine, unscrewed the cap, and brought it to his nose to smell it.
An extremely rich aroma of wine wafted from the bottle, mellow and lingering, spreading through the air.
Giss's eyes lit up. He poured a little into his palm, stuck out his tongue, and licked it.
The wine is spicy with a hint of sweetness on the palate, leaving a long and lingering aftertaste.
He was overjoyed and a big smile spread across his face.
"Captain, this wine is really good!" Geese quickly rummaged through the offerings and found a clean cup, poured a glass, and handed it to Captain Ginyu with both hands.
Ginyu took the glass, held it up to his eyes to look at the color of the wine, and then took a small sip.
The liquid lingered on the tip of my tongue for a second before sliding down my throat.
He nodded in satisfaction, a slight smile playing on his lips.
Then, Gis distributed the drinks, pouring a glass for each person.
"This wine is so white." Recoum sipped his wine, his eyes narrowed into slits, and he even let out a burp. "This is the first time I've ever seen such a peculiar wine."
"It really tastes good." Geese nodded, pouring himself another glass. "Lord Frieza will definitely be very happy!"
"There are several bottles here," Bart suggested, pointing towards the offerings. "Shall we take them all to Lord Frieza?"
"I think it's fine." Guldo raised both hands in agreement, his arms high in the air.
"Then take all of these drinks with you!" Ginyu made a quick decision and waved his arm.
Several team members stepped forward and bent down to pack all thirty-odd bottles of liquor from the offerings.
They pulled out portable backpacks from their pockets and carefully stuffed the bottles inside, one by one, as if afraid of breaking them.
"Captain, do we still need to look for humans on this planet?" Geese asked, zipping up his backpack.
"There's no need." Ginyu shook his head, crossing his arms. "Now that we have the liquor, let's hurry up and get to Namek."
"What should we do with this planet?" Geese asked again, his gaze sweeping over the empty city. "Should we destroy it?"
"No need to rush to destroy this planet." Ginyu glared at Geese, a hint of displeasure in his eyes. "What if Lord Frieza really likes the wine on this planet? If the planet is destroyed, where will we find wine like that?"
"The captain is right." Recoome grinned, took the bottle, and chugged it down several times, drinking with great relish. "If Lord Frieza doesn't like these drinks, at least we can. I think they're quite delicious."
"Let's go!" Ginyu gave the order, pointing his arm towards the sky.
"Whoosh whoosh whoosh!"
The five people simultaneously flew into the sky, their bodies propelled upwards, and flew rapidly towards the spaceship.
Five figures left five streaks of light in the purple sky.
"Lord Frieza will surely give us a good reward!" Geese laughed heartily, his laughter carrying on the wind.
"Yeah!" Ginyu chimed in, a bright smile spreading across his face.
However, what Ginyu and his friends never expected was that Frieza was getting beaten up because of this.
If the Ginyu Force hadn't gone to Planet Arlandis, Frieza wouldn't have been beaten up so early.
Of course, getting beaten up is certain, but it won't be that bad.
Frieza is now completely baffled as to why the Ginyu Force provoked Solo.
I just sent them to Namek —
Even I am no match for you, so why are you afraid of the Ginyu Force?
Or did the Ginyu Force bully you in the early days?
That shouldn't be happening!
If they bullied you when you were little, you should be hoping they come to Namek as soon as possible.
Frieza lay on the ground, purple blood trickling from the corner of his mouth, his mind a complete mess.
Namek.
Three suns hung in the sky, casting their light upon this scarred land.
"Goku." Zoro raised his foot and kicked Frieza to the ground again.
Frieza rolled twice on the grass, then lay there, too weak to get up.
Zoro turned around, his gaze falling on Goku, and said calmly, "I've already given him a good beating. The rest is up to you. I'm leaving Namek for a while."
"Huh?" Sun Wukong was slightly stunned, his eyes widened, and his mouth opened slightly.
"Don't worry," Solo said, then waved to Krillin, "Krillin will help you when it matters."
Klin quickly landed beside Solo, his toes barely touching the ground.
"Krillin," Zoro said solemnly, patting Krillin's shoulder twice and looking directly into his eyes, "Remember this: help Goku. I believe you can defeat Frieza even without my intervention."
"Solo, where are you going?" Klin asked hurriedly.
"I have something to attend to, I'll be leaving for a bit." Solo did not mention the name of the planet Arantis.
It's best not to mention the name of that planet in front of Frieza.
There is a high probability that Goku did not kill Frieza in this battle.
Frieza will come back again.
If that guy goes directly to the planet Arantis, that's not what Solo wants to see.
According to the normal plot development, Frieza should go directly to Earth.
Then, unsurprisingly, he was cleaved in two by Trunks, who came from the future.
However, judging from the Ginyu Force's movements, Solo has no choice but to be on guard.
In the original storyline, the Ginyu Force were supposed to be heading to Adrenaline, and they didn't actually visit any planets like Arantis along the way, right?
Or have you been there but just didn't know it?
Soroba must now return to the planet Arantis immediately.
"Vegeta." Soro glanced at Vegeta again, his gaze lingering on Vegeta's face for a second. "You'd better watch yourself."
After explaining everything, Solo took out the Capsule of Life from his pocket, pressed it with his thumb, and casually tossed it to the ground.
"Snapped!"
The capsule exploded instantly, releasing a cloud of white smoke.
After the smoke cleared, a spaceship appeared on the blue lawn.
Solo lightly touched the ground with his toes and flew directly onto the spaceship, crawling into the cabin.
He sat in front of the control panel and pressed the start button.
"call out!"
The spaceship immediately took off, its tail spewing blue flames as it instantly tore through the planet's atmosphere and plunged into the vast cosmos.
The ship grew smaller and smaller in the starry sky, farther and farther away, until it became a point of light and disappeared.
Klin looked up, staring blankly at the spaceship that had disappeared, his mouth slightly agape.
"This... it just flew away?" Krillin was still a little dazed. He looked away from the sky and then at Goku's face, and then at Vegeta's face.
After a period of confusion.
Klin slapped his forehead hard, his palm striking his bald head with a crisp sound.
"No way!" Krillin exclaimed, his voice rising, "Solo's gone! How are we getting back to Earth?"
"Perhaps—" Sun Wukong guessed, scratching his head, "Zoro will come back once he finishes what he's doing."
Vegeta hovered in the air, but his body shuddered violently.
Solo, you jerk!
Even if you want to leave, kill Frieza first.
If you leave Frieza here, who can kill him?
Vegeta's Adam's apple bobbed, and a cold sweat broke out on his back.
Frieza, also stunned, lay on the ground, looking up at the vanished spaceship.
His gaze followed the receding trail, still reeling from his daze.
What's this Saiyan named Solo up to?
Why leave Namek?
Is he planning to go find the Ginyu Force?
Where did those Ginyu Force guys go?
hateful!
Frieza gritted her teeth and pushed herself up from the ground.
This Saiyan named Solo is really ruthless. His face, body, and arms are covered in bruises and wounds, and every bone in his body is aching.
He gritted his teeth and tried to get up from the ground.
Vegeta's pupils contracted, his face changed slightly, and he hurriedly flew to Goku's side.
"Hey, Kakarot!" Vegeta shouted immediately at Goku, his voice urgent and shrill, "Frieza is still alive! Defeat him now!"
"Huh?" Sun Wukong was taken aback, his brows furrowing slightly. "Now?"
"If not now, then when?" Vegeta roared, veins bulging on his forehead. "Do you want to wait until his injuries heal before fighting him?"
"This—" Sun Wukong slowly shook his head, his voice growing increasingly low, "Besides, even if we attack him now, we might not be able to kill him. He still has a considerable amount of energy within him."
"Hey, you little bald guy!" Vegeta called out to Krillin again, pointing in his direction, "Hurry up and use your Destructo Blade."
