Witch Training Manual: My Water Magic Is Wrong

Chapter 162 Hena's Chance Encounter

The women left quickly after receiving the potion.

The front hall was empty; nothing was left on the benches, and the floor was spotless, with hardly any shoe prints.

Jenny also returned to the backyard.

In just ten minutes.

The panel appeared in front of Wayne.

[Jenny's Feedback After Showing Off]

After finishing his volunteer work, Jenny returned to the backyard storage room and described the evening's spectacle to Babacar in detail. This included, but was not limited to, the number of women, their appearances, their figures, and the "highly sought-after" treatment he received in the front hall. He embellished about 70% of the story. Babacar's expression shifted from "uninterested" to "thoughtful," then to "restless," and finally to "Is it too late for me to go over there?"—but it was too late; everyone was gone.

[Babakka - Current Status]

[Status: Regretful, extremely regretful. He's now consumed by only one thought: Why did I put on airs? Why did I act like someone important? Why couldn't I be shameless like Jenny?]

[Inner monologue: Babaka, you've changed. Why won't you lower your proud head? Back when you were a gigolo, dancing in front of those old women, you were so adaptable. You could undress faster than anyone, your smile was brighter than anyone else's, and you had those ladies wrapped around your little finger, gold coins raining down into your pockets. How come you changed after breaking through to the fourth level? Why did you start caring about your image? Why did you start thinking you "aren't that kind of person"? You're not that kind of person, what kind of person are you? You are that kind of person!]

Wayne turned his gaze away from the panel.

His lips twitched slightly.

It's unexpected that Babacar, despite his tall and imposing stature, had such an experience. However, considering his peculiar hidden ailment, everything seems to make sense. Indeed, there is no effect without a cause in this world.

Wayne shook his head.

It's already like that, why think about those other things?

What's this called?

Is it called "physically disabled but determined"?

the other side.

Fifty miles northeast of Frost Town.

It was evening.

The light in the forest changed from golden to dark red.

Andrei's entourage moved slowly along the official road.

Six horses, three carriages, and eleven people. In the front row were three fourth-rank battle priests of St. Hilde, clad in light armor and longswords at their waists, their eyes scanning the dense forest on either side of the road. In the back row were the accompanying clerks and servants, huddled in the carriages, occasionally lifting the curtain to peek out before quickly lowering it again.

Andrei rode at the very front.

He wasn't riding fast, but his posture was very graceful.

Meanwhile, on the official road.

Andrei suddenly reined in his horse.

Several tree branches lay across the road ahead, not like they had fallen naturally; the clean breaks indicated they had been deliberately broken and placed there. The dense woods on both sides of the road were eerily quiet. There were no birdsong, no insect chirps, not even the sound of the wind rustling through the leaves.

Andrei raised his right hand.

The procession stopped.

"alert."

The three combat priests dismounted, their hands on their sword hilts, and spread out in a fan shape. The coachman tightened the reins, and the horses snorted restlessly.

Andrei did not dismount. His gaze swept across the dense forest on both sides, and he suddenly spoke.

"Come out."

The dense forest fell silent for a moment.

Then came a soft laugh.

The laughter wasn't loud, but it was clear, like someone breathing into your ear. The accompanying civilian staff trembled and huddled in the carriage, too afraid to move. The three combat priests drew their longswords, the blades gleaming coldly in the setting sun.

Hena emerged from the dense forest.

She wore a long, deep purple dress, the hem trailing on the ground, stained with a few fallen leaves and grass seeds. Three braids hung down her back, and she cradled a black cat in her arms. The cat's green eyes narrowed into slits in the setting sun as it lazily yawned.

She stood in the middle of the road, blocking the way.

The space is somewhat distorted.

"Oh." Hena's gaze swept over Andrei's face, a slight smirk playing on her lips. "I was wondering why I could smell that stench from so far away. Turns out it's the church's lackeys."

Andrei looked at Hena with an unfriendly expression.

"demon?"

He wasn't asking a question, he was stating a fact. He showed no surprise, no fear, not even a hint of wariness.

Hena raised an eyebrow.

"You're quite calm."

"May the goddess protect you."

Hena took a step forward.

"Goddess's protection? Besides those few phrases, what else can you members of St. Hilde's Church shout?"

Lilith's voice came from Hena's arms.

"Fourth-tier Holy Light Messengers, a few third-tier ones, the rest are useless. Hena, if you want to play, hurry up and don't waste time. We still need to find your materials."

Hena touched Lilith.

"No rush."

Lilith's voice came from Hena's arms, not loud, but everyone could hear it, and there was a hint of impatience in her voice.

"You're not in a hurry, but I am. This person's holy light isn't strong, but it still makes you feel uncomfortable. Hurry up and finish packing, then leave. It's awful."

Andrei's pupils contracted slightly.

He heard a cat talking.

Moreover, the cat complained that his holy light was too weak.

"Two demons?"

"No, that's not right." Hena held up one finger and shook it. "One and a half. Lilith is still sealed, so that counts as half. I am one. One and a half in total."

Andrei did not respond.

His hand grasped the holy emblem at his waist.

Hena watched his movements.

"You want an exorcism?"

Andrei did not answer.

If you don't see eye to eye, even half a sentence is too much.

A battle between the two sides is imminent.

The three combat priests moved.

The three attacked simultaneously from three directions, their longswords wreathed in holy light as they slashed at Hena. Their perfect coordination, the tricky angles, and the complete blockade of all escape routes made it the standard three-person attack formation of the Saint Hilde battle priests, a formation they had practiced thousands of times.

Hena did not dodge.

The holy light struck her as if it were striking thin air; the longsword passed right through her body without touching anything.

The pupils of the three combat priests dilated simultaneously.

"Phantom...Phantom?"

Hena's laughter rang out.

"No! It's a dream."

Everyone instantly tensed up.

Dream, dream state?

When did they get infected?

They were completely unaware of this.

Hena glanced at everyone.

"Would you be interested in a group wet dream?"

As she spoke, pink mist welled up from her fingertips, spreading across the ground like a living thing, covering everyone.

Andrei's body twitched slightly in the mist, and the expression on his face changed from calm to confusion, from confusion to fear, and from fear to something indescribable.

In a collective dream.

He didn't know why he had turned into a woman, why he was wearing such daring clothes, or why there were seven or eight burly orcs standing in front of him.

What terrified Andrei was

His legs felt like they were filled with lead.

My body felt like it was frozen in place by something.

The beastmen swarmed around.

His smile was kind and honest, but he harbored ill intentions.

Andrei wanted to shout "Goddess, protect me!"

But what came out was "No".

The orcs' smiles became even more endearing...
