Witch Training Manual: My Water Magic Is Wrong

Chapter 261 Wilford is in trouble again.

Wayne was just about to stand up and get a drink of water.

There was another knock on the door.

Knock knock knock.

Wayne sat up straight again.

"Please come in."

The door opened, and Andy entered. He was carrying a tray with a pot of hot tea and a small saucer containing a piece of honey cake that looked very soft.

"Sir, I saw that you've been busy all morning, and I thought you probably haven't had lunch yet, so I brought you something to tide you over."

Andy placed the tray on the low table next to Wayne with swift movements. After putting it down, he didn't rush to leave but stood aside, as if he still had something to say.

Wayne picked up his teacup and took a sip.

"Is there anything else?"

Andy nodded: "My lord, Bishop Charman asked me to tell you that he has made arrangements for the caravan that will depart tomorrow. Three additional carriages have been added, specifically to carry the supplies and donations you have collected during this time. As for security, he has assigned ten church guards to accompany you all the way to the border of Bellino."

After listening, Wayne put down his teacup.

"Please thank Bishop Charman for me."

Andy smiled.

"Bishop Charman said that you don't need to be polite with him. You saved his life. He would be willing to give you the entire Audrien Cathedral, let alone a few carriages."

Wayne didn't respond to that question, but simply nodded.

Seeing that he was no longer speaking, Andy tactfully bowed and left the confessional, closing the door behind him.

The confessional room fell silent again.

Wayne leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes for a moment. The control panel popped up at that moment, as if it had been timed for him to look at it.

[Andy's Current Status]

[Status: Just now, when Isabella left, he secretly glanced at her at the end of the corridor. Although he couldn't see her face clearly, he was certain she was a woman of extremely high status. He was currently considering whether to report this to Elena.]

[Note: He has been completely brainwashed by Elena. The poor boy believes he is saving an oppressed woman, but in reality, he is just one of Elena's tools for revenge.]

[Note 2: Elena is waiting for the right opportunity. She's heard that you're only staying for three days and leaving tomorrow. She's considering how to approach you without arousing Charman's suspicion.]

[P.S.: She doesn't know that you already knew everything about her.]

Wayne's gaze lingered on the panel for a moment.

Elena.

Of course he remembered that name.

Charman's wife.

The noblewoman was only lusting after his face and his water magic.

Elena wanted to possess him.

Back when he was in Audrey, she had hinted at it many times, both openly and subtly. He never took the bait, not because he didn't understand, but because he looked down on her.

But he's leaving tomorrow.

No matter how much she thinks about it, it's useless if he doesn't take the initiative to see her. The distance between Audrian and Bellino is enough for most obsessions to dissipate along the way.

Just then, another panel popped up.

[Far-off News Flash]

[Latest update on Ace: He finally caught up with Lena. Along the way, he used money to pave his way, causing quite a bit of trouble. But in the process, Ace also experienced personal growth.]

[Note: Leon has now completely become Lena. Both her identity and physical characteristics have fully transformed her into a woman. She was moved by Ace's persistence, and the two officially became a couple.]

[Note 2: Lena killed the nameless swordsman who betrayed her and plotted against her. However, due to clues left by the swordsman before his death, the two were hunted down by the Ymisera Church. In the nick of time, the Arrogant Demon intervened, annihilating all the pursuers.]

[Note 2: The two decide to live incognito in a remote town. Ace uses his remaining gold coins to buy a house with a yard. Lena is already showing, and the two await the arrival of their child.]

[P.S.: Arrogance was a little angry when she learned that you killed her follower. However, because you lent Ace 30 gold coins, she decided to let go of her resentment.]

Before Wayne could even close the panel after looking at it, Thomason's panting voice boomed from the corridor outside.

"Lord Wayne! Lord Wayne! Something terrible has happened!"

Wayne stood up and walked out of the confessional.

Thomason's face was flushed, his forehead was covered in sweat, one hand on his knee and the other pointing in the opposite direction of the church door. He could barely speak: "Sir... Mayor Wilford... he's in trouble!"

"What happened? Tell me slowly."

Thomason took a few deep breaths and finally managed to get his story straight: "The mayor... he passed out in the brothel!"

Wayne raised an eyebrow slightly.

"What happened?" he asked. "I remember him saying yesterday that he was going to organize everyone to pack their bags one last time at the camp. How did he end up at a brothel?"

Thomason gave a wry smile and quickly explained the whole story. It turned out that the women of Frostwind Town's Emerald Street had decided to stay in Aldrian and continue working for the great goddess of prostitutes—Shura.

To thank Wilford for his role in bringing them together, Audrien's largest brothel hosted a farewell banquet for him.

Just last night, Wilford probably felt that he was leaving tomorrow and probably wouldn't have many more opportunities, so he was full of heroic spirit and ordered ten girls to say a final goodbye.

This morning, when the brothel worker went in to deliver hot water, he found Wilford lying stiffly on the bed, unable to be woken up no matter how he called him.

The brothel owner was terrified and called a doctor from the city. The doctor tried everything, from pinching Wilford's philtrum to administering medicine, but Wilford remained unresponsive, like a lump of mud.

After listening, Wayne remained silent for two seconds.

"Let's go take a look."

Without asking any further questions, he strode towards the church entrance. Thomason quickly followed, wiping his sweat as he went.

Wayne hadn't even reached the brothel entrance yet.

A woman wearing a low-cut red dress saw him walking towards her from a second-floor window.

Upon seeing this, she immediately shouted loudly inside.

"Sisters! Father Wayne is here!"

Less than half a minute later, a flurry of footsteps echoed through the brothel, followed by a group of girls pouring out of the door, their dresses fluttering and their fragrance filling the air.

A rich, perfumed scent wafted towards me.

They blocked Wayne at the door.

"My lord! You've finally arrived!"

"Long time no see, you still look so beautiful..."

"I heard you're leaving, and I didn't sleep well all night..."

"Father, you must save Mr. Wilford! He's a good man!"

"Yes, yes, with you here, there's definitely no problem!"

The girls chattered away, one after another, giving Wayne no chance to speak.
