After Wayne began the battle.

Sanders has been carried to a safe place.

The man who carried him was Schiller, the burly gatekeeper.

At this moment, half of Sanders' body was covered in blood, bone spurs were still stuck under his ribs, and his breathing was shallow and rapid.

Schiller looked at Wayne, who was fighting not far away.

Should we go and help him?

The old man squatted down beside him and shook his head.

"No need. We wouldn't be of much help even if we went up there, so let's save our energy."

Schiller glanced at Sanders, who lay unconscious on the ground.

"What should we do with this guy?"

The old man tapped the sole of his shoe with his pipe.

"I've sealed his bleeding points. However, his internal organs are too badly damaged, and he won't live much longer. Let his teammates come and see him; that way, he can die without regrets."

Schiller did not speak again.

On the other side, on the battlefield in East Alley.

Zorro then formed a hand seal.

"Demon Bone!"

A bone spur quickly grew out of Wayne's original wound.

"Boy, you've fallen for my Demonic Bone Curse. Prepare to be pierced through by thousands of bones and die!"

Without wasting words, Wayne placed his left hand on his right shoulder, and a holy light purification spell lit up on his right shoulder.

The newly grown bone spur broke off very quickly.

Wayne shook his hand.

"That's it? What other skills do you have? Show us everything!"

Zorro's smile froze on his face.

The incision he deliberately made was to plant demonic bones within Wayne's body. When millions of bones grow from within him, Wayne's death will be imminent.

He hadn't expected that the young man before him would know the Holy Light Purification Magic of the Vatican.

Zorro was furious.

He swung his arms, and the ground around him bulged violently, with more than a dozen bone spikes bursting out of the ground and stabbing towards Wayne from all directions.

Wayne dodged to the side, the bone spurs grazing his clothes and piercing the ground.

As soon as he landed, the ground beneath his feet began to bulge again, and more than a dozen bone spikes emerged from his footing, forcing him to retreat repeatedly.

However, Wayne did not intend to continue this stalemate.

He raised his left palm to his chest, and a burst of light erupted, with more than a dozen small shields spreading outwards from him. The bone spikes that lunged at him collided with the light shields, as if embedded in cotton wool, their force completely neutralized.

Zorro's pupils contracted slightly.

This kid's magic seems to come out one after another, like he can't run out of it.

He was about to back away when Wayne had already moved.

The water on the ground was whipped into three long whips by water magic, lashing out at Zorro's lower body from three directions simultaneously. Zorro leaped into the air, the whips missing their mark and shattering the stone slabs on the ground.

While he was still in mid-air, Wayne had already caught up with him.

It's not magic.

It's a fist.

Zorro could see clearly that the kid who had been forced to retreat by him just moments before now dared to jump to the same height as him, facing his two-meter-tall body.

Wayne's right fist, enveloped in a pale golden gust of wind, struck Zorro in the face.

Zorro crossed his arms to block.

Zorro's fist slammed into the bone armor with a muffled boom. He felt as if he had been hit by a battering ram, and was sent flying through the air.

After crashing through two walls, Zorro landed in a pile of rubble. He crawled out of the ruins, a spiderweb-like network of cracks appearing on his bone-armored arm.

Damn it.

He spat out the blood from his mouth, his eyes flashing with even more ferocity.

The ground shook.

Centered on Zorro, countless bone spikes burst forth from the ground, one after another, bone pillars tens of meters high growing wildly like bamboo shoots, turning the entire alleyway into a forest of bone spikes.

The people and the demons around them quickly hid.

Wayne ran through the jungle of shattered bones, bone spikes crashing down on his head, each step sending up shards of rock. He didn't dodge, but instead smashed the bone pillars that came straight at him with his fists.

Bones flew everywhere, and he quickly cleared a space.

Zorro had landed on top of another bone pillar.

He glanced at his arm, then at Wayne approaching, and for the first time, a look of caution appeared in his eyes.

The more they fought, the more energetic the person in front of them became.

We can't keep bothering her.

"Demon Bone - Piercing Heart".

Zorro slammed his palms onto the bone pillar, unleashing a torrent of magic. The bone spikes standing on the ground exploded simultaneously, countless fragments coalescing into a giant bone spear over ten meters in diameter, hovering above Wayne's head, its tip pointing directly at his skull.

This attack is unavoidable; the area affected is too large.

Wayne looked up, and holy light condensed into a straight line in his palm.

The white light struck the bone spear, momentarily halting its descent, but it did not shatter.

Just then, Wayne activated his water magic with all his might, enveloping himself in a water sphere.

The bone spear fell, piercing the road surface of the alley.

The entire underground level shook, billowing smoke and dust, and sending debris flying into the sky.

Zorro stood atop the collapsed bone pillar, staring at the deep crater below. When the dust settled, there was nothing at the bottom of the crater, only scattered bones and rising steam.

What about people?

He suddenly looked around.

He then felt a chill on the back of his neck.

A staff was pressed against his back.

Zorro tried to turn around, but it was too late.

Wayne gripped his staff tightly, water element flowing at its tip, and azure water chains wrapped around Zorro's entire body, immobilizing him.

"Water dragon."

A terrifying high-pressure water jet poured out, slamming Zorro, along with his bone armor, towards the ground.

In that instant, Zorro's entire body was covered in bone armor, attempting to protect himself. However, the bone armor was immediately severed by the new flow of water as soon as it solidified.

His strong muscles deformed under the water pressure, and the layers of bone on his back shattered, making a dense, cracking sound.

"Bang!"

The water dragon carried Zorro as he crashed into the ground.

A crater five or six meters in diameter was smashed into the alleyway floor, causing water to flow back. Below, Zorro was buried at the bottom of the crater, his body covered in scattered bone spikes.

At the bottom of the pit, Zorro grinned.

I have no regrets about losing to you.

However, he paused.

But... let's die together...

As he spoke, Zorro slowly raised his arm, and a bone spike shot towards his heart.

After the bone spike pierced Zorro's chest, the surrounding broken bones rose up as if they had come to life, all converging towards Zorro.

His bones rapidly remodeled, and Zorro's body swelled to five meters tall. The broken bone spurs grew back, and a bone surface covered his face, leaving only one blood-red eye exposed.

This is a life-sacrificing technique of the Bone Spike Demon Clan, where they feed their own flesh and blood to the demon bones, gaining power far exceeding their peak strength in a short period of time.

Wayne's heart sank.

I didn't expect this guy to have such a trump card up his sleeve.

Zorro, having completed his transformation, said nothing. He pushed off the ground with his hind legs, propelling his massive body toward Wayne. The cobblestone path was shattered in his wake.

This speed is at least twice as fast as before.

Wayne dodged to the side, but his left arm was still grazed by the bone blade, leaving a gash that ran from his wrist to his forearm, from which blood gushed out.

Zorro let out a sinister laugh and slashed down with his bone blade once more.

Because the two were too close, Wayne had no chance to dodge, and he withstood the attack with water magic. After the blow, blood still welled up in his throat.

After finding an opportunity.

Wayne quickly increased the distance between himself and Zorro.
