While Jiang Xun was still dreaming, the driver called.

"Xiao Jiang, I'm waiting downstairs. You and the girl get ready, let's leave early."

This clearly shows that Mr. Zhang doesn't trust Jiang Xun and had given instructions to the driver beforehand.

Jiang Xun responded, hung up the phone, and glanced out the window.

The sky was overcast, as if it were about to rain.

He stared blankly at the ceiling for two minutes, then jumped up and quickly dressed and washed up.

Then he went to knock on Tian Xiwei's door.

The door opened as soon as I knocked.

Tian Xiwei was already dressed and her hair was loose, apparently because she hadn't tied it up for convenience.

Good morning, Jiang Xun.

"Good morning, Xiaotian." Jiang Xun only belatedly realized that the two of them were addressing each other differently.

He called her Xiaotian, and she called him younger brother; neither of them changed how they addressed each other.

"Are you all packed? Let's go then."

"GO!" Tian Xiwei made a gesture full of energy, showing no sign of being grumpy when she first woke up.

The two carried their things downstairs. Jiang Xun didn't rush to get into the car. He first turned into a breakfast shop on the side of the road, bought a few steamed buns and two cups of porridge, and then got into the car.

He and Tian Xiwei sat in the back row.

"Uncle Wu, have you eaten?" Jiang Xun handed him a steamed bun.

"I've already eaten, you two can eat." The driver started the car and headed towards the highway exit.

Jiang Xun yawned, divided the buns among himself, and began to eat.

After finishing his meal, he slumped in his chair, staring blankly out the window.

The trees along the roadside receded frame by frame, my eyes were vacant, and my soul seemed to leave my body.

Tian Xiwei sat beside her, smiling, looking incredibly energetic.

Jiang Xun glanced at her sideways, not understanding why she wasn't sleepy at all.

It's only a little past five o'clock.

"Jiang Xun, my younger brother."

"Um."

"Do you know exactly what we're going to film?" Tian Xiwei asked.

Before Jiang Xun could speak, the driver in front chuckled and said, "Of course I know. I heard from people at the company that Jiang Xun wrote the script himself. Jiang Xun is quite capable."

There was a hint of pride in his tone, as if he were praising his own child.

Tian Xiwei turned her head, her eyes filled with curiosity again: "You can write notebooks?"

"Yes, I know a lot." Jiang Xun nodded very seriously.

"What else can you do?"

Jiang Xun rubbed his chin and raised an eyebrow in a pretentious manner: "I also have a special skill: I can understand what animals are saying."

Tian Xiwei's eyes lit up immediately.

She was already impressed by Jiang Xun's previous performance. Such a magical skill, it sounded like something to amuse a child, but she believed it without even thinking about it.

"Wow! When I was little, I always fantasized about understanding animals!" She leaned closer, her eyes shining. "You're amazing! Can you understand all kinds of animals?"

Jiang Xun modestly shook his head: "I can only understand wild ones. Like snow leopards."

"That's still amazing!" Tian Xiwei nodded seriously, her tone devoid of any doubt.

The driver in the front seat couldn't help but smile and shake his head, then stopped talking and focused on driving.

As the car entered the highway, the sky outside the window remained overcast, and the sun refused to show its face.

The road to Xinlong was long, and time seemed to pass slowly.

As they chatted, the topic turned to the short film again.

Jiang Xun took out his phone and showed her the story outline he had written earlier.

Tian Xiwei took it and carefully flipped through it, only to find that there was basically no plot, just long passages of scene descriptions, like a shooting list.

"Free rein?" She looked up.

Jiang Xun rubbed his forehead: "The story isn't fully developed yet. In short, there are two perspectives: one is the story of me and Xinlong, and the other is the story of you and Xinlong."

He paused, looking at her: "What is your purpose in coming to Xinlong? Is it just for tourism, or to relax? What are your thoughts?"

"Can my words be counted?" Tian Xiwei turned to stare at him.

She leaned in quite close, and Jiang Xun could smell her faint fragrance.

"If you can convince me, of course I can," Jiang Xun said truthfully.

He can definitely do that. And if Oda can persuade him, he can persuade the tourism investment group.

After receiving those words, Tian Xiwei returned the phone to him and turned to look out the window.

She had no expression, remained quiet, and seemed lost in thought.

From the side, that face is round and chubby, and it's kind of cute for some reason.

After a while, she turned back, her face serious.

"Could it be set up so that I come to Xinlong to clear my head because I'm heartbroken?"

Jiang Xun thought about it for a moment and felt that this setting was pretty good.

Why is it set up this way?

Tian Xiwei blinked, a slight smile playing on her lips, as if she were quite pleased with her idea.

"Don't you think that makes the story more compelling? A girl who's just broken up with her boyfriend travels alone to an unfamiliar snowy region, and the things she sees and hears along the way heal her. It elevates the whole story!"

Jiang Xun nodded.

Having received affirmation, Tian Xiwei continued enthusiastically: "And then add a melancholic narration, and the feeling is absolutely amazing!" Her eyes lit up, eager to start filming right now. "Right?"

"This is simply..." Jiang Xun carefully considered his words, then exaggeratedly slapped his thigh, "A genius idea!"

Tian Xiwei let out a string of silvery laughter, and the atmosphere inside the car became cheerful.

The car sped along the highway, and several hours later, it finally arrived in Xinlong County.

Upon entering the county town, Tian Xiwei became excited again.

"Wow! Look over there!" she exclaimed, pointing to a tall building in the distance. "You're amazing!"

Jiang Xun followed her gaze.

There stood a brand-new GG sign with his photo on it and the words "Welcome to Jiang Xun's hometown, Xinlong" written below.

He was a little embarrassed, something he hadn't done in a long time.

That's so presumptuous of me.

But that's quite efficient; there was nothing there before he left.

The car continued driving forward, and occasionally his photo could be seen on a building that passed by.

Tian Xiwei calmed down and stopped being so excited.

Her face was also somewhat pale.

"Are you alright?" Jiang Xun asked.

Tian Xiwei placed her hand on her face, her voice weak and feeble: "I feel a little dizzy... a little unwell."

It seems there is still altitude sickness.

Jiang Xun immediately took out a bottle of oxygen from the bag next to his seat, opened it and handed it over: "Breathe some oxygen, it will make you feel better."

Tian Xiwei took it limply, took a few breaths, and slumped into her seat.

After a while, the car arrived at Xinlong Tourism Investment.

Outside the gate, almost all the staff of the travel investment company were there, standing in two rows.

Tian Xiwei also saw the scene outside and suddenly felt a little nervous.

"Are you okay? If not, let's go to the hotel and rest first," Jiang Xun said. "The altitude here isn't the highest compared to other counties, so you should feel better after resting for a while."

"I can do it!" Tian Xiwei took a deep breath, sat up straight, and a bright smile returned to her face.

The car stopped, she put down the oxygen, opened the car door and got out.

Jiang Xun followed behind her, casually taking the oxygen with him.

As soon as we got off the bus, the people from the travel investment company greeted us with smiles.

Mr. Zhang, who was at the front, glanced at Tian Xiwei without making a sound, and in his heart gave Jiang Xun a thumbs up.

She looks even better in person than in photos.

"Miss Tian Xiwei, welcome to Xinlong." He said, gesturing behind him, and a white hada (ceremonial scarf) was handed to him.

Tian Xiwei blushed and turned to look at Jiang Xun.

See? I told you my imagination was spot on. She finally got what she was looking for.

She bent down and let Mr. Zhang hang the hada around her neck.
