Aunt Su suddenly stopped and looked at Huo Yuhao, her eyes filled with a hint of doubt: "The Huo with the 'Yu' in his name, the 'Yu' in 'misty rain,' the 'Hao' in 'catastrophe'? Or is it the same name as Lingbing Douluo?"

Huo Yuhao looked at Aunt Su's puzzled expression, but the words stuck in his throat and he couldn't say them.

He didn't know who Lingbing Douluo was, but judging from Aunt Su's tone, Lingbing Douluo must be a very strong person. However, he was unsure whether he should admit that his name was Huo Yuhao. If Aunt Su pressed him for details, he couldn't very well say that he had forgotten his original name and that Na'er had just given him the name a few days ago, could he?

Before he could answer, Na'er spoke up: "My brother's name is because his mother used a homophone. His mother's name has the character 'Yun' in it, and his father's name has the character 'Hao' in it. Yuhao means 'with Hao'."

Listening to Na'er's fluent and fluent voice, Huo Yuhao stared blankly at Na'er beside him.

This explanation...it doesn't sound fabricated at all. Does Na'er really know something? Could it be that what she said before wasn't a lie?

A muffled thud.

Huo Yuhao was so focused on Na'er that he didn't watch where he was going and bumped into a soul-guided street lamp, feeling a dull pain in his forehead.

Seeing this, Aunt Su couldn't help but find it a little funny, but she quickly asked with concern, "What happened? Did you hurt your head?"

Huo Yuhao touched his forehead, and after the pain subsided a bit, he shook his head and replied, "It's nothing. I wasn't watching where I was going. It's my own fault for being careless."

Na'er shook his hand, blinked her bright eyes, and said with a grin, "Brother, am I pretty?"

Huo Yuhao blushed at her question, immediately released her hand, moved closer to Aunt Su, and ignored her.

When Na'er saw that Huo Yuhao was avoiding her, she immediately wilted, lowered her head, and followed Aunt Su forward dejectedly.

Aunt Su's house wasn't too far away. After walking for a short while, we arrived at a barbecue restaurant with four big characters written on the sign: Yuhao Grilled Fish.

Huo Yuhao's lips twitched again.

It turns out that Lingbing Douluo might just be a grilled fish vendor, and maybe even his ancestor. He was just secretly wondering if Lingbing Douluo was some kind of earth-shattering powerhouse, but it turns out he's just a cook.

Aunt Su skillfully opened the door, took out two pairs of slippers, and handed them to Na'er and Huo Yuhao.

Seeing this, Huo Yuhao finally took off the ill-fitting little shoes he had put on at some point and followed Aunt Su into the house.

The room wasn't particularly luxurious, but it reeked of the smell of barbecue smoke. Huo Yuhao took a sniff and thought to himself, "Aunt Su's choice of this location is indeed quite good."

He watched as Aunt Su went into the kitchen to prepare ingredients and cook for them.

Aunt Su's voice came from the kitchen: "Please make yourselves at home. I'll cook for you first, and then I'll tidy up your sleeping rooms... There's water on the table; please help yourselves if you want some."

Huo Yuhao casually agreed and sat down on the sofa, feeling as if something was missing.

He got up and went to the table to get some water. When he saw the cups on the table, he instinctively picked up two. One of them had a moon pattern on it. Then he suddenly realized: Where did Na'er go?

He looked around and saw Na'er huddled in the corner of the sofa, hugging a pillow, looking aggrieved and motionless, her little mouth pouting high and her head buried tightly, clearly having suffered a great injustice.

Huo Yuhao then realized that he hadn't said a single word to Na'er since he entered the room, nor had he shown any concern for her. He realized he was being a terrible older brother.

He took two cups to get water, wanting to pour some for Na'er and comfort her. But as soon as he filled one cup, the water dispenser was empty.

Immediately afterward, Huo Yuhao glanced at another water bottle next to him. It had a moon pattern printed on it and looked like a thermos. Without thinking much of it, he opened the bottle, poured himself a glass of water, and then walked over to Na'er with the glass in his hand.

Na'er secretly glanced at Huo Yuhao, her purple eyes veiled with a faint mist.

Huo Yuhao walked up to Na'er and handed her the cup. Na'er's previously listless face instantly lit up with a smile, and she took the cup and drank the water in one gulp.

Huo Yuhao breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that she had stopped being difficult, and he also picked up his cup and took a sip.

A hint of sweetness slid across his tongue, and his blood seemed to be nourished by something, instantly gaining vitality. This unusual sensation made Huo Yuhao's heart tighten.

He had just put the kettle down when he heard the door open from the inner room.

A young girl emerged. Her bare, fair feet moved silently, and her long, black hair cascaded down to her waist, the ends shimmering with a soft, pinkish-purple light.

A faint blush rose to her cheeks, and her soft voice came through: "What... are you doing with my cup?"

Huo Yuhao stared blankly at the cup in his hand, his cheeks instantly flushing crimson. Only then did he realize that he had taken someone else's cup by mistake. No wonder there were so many cups on the table, but this one had a moon pattern on it.

He looked at the girl, intending to apologize, but then noticed she was wearing an eye patch. The white mesh eye patch, hidden beneath her bangs, covered her eyes; to be precise, she hadn't opened them at all.

The girl's face showed a hint of shyness, yet also an undeniable pallor. Huo Yuhao instantly realized that this was Aunt Su's daughter.

The girl walked over slowly. Her slender white legs had just reached Huo Yuhao when she suddenly stopped as if she had been electrocuted. She then quickly turned around, picked up another thermos with a crescent moon pattern on the table, and drank the remaining water in one gulp.

She still seemed unsatisfied, so she rushed to Huo Yuhao, snatched the water glass from his hand, and poured the remaining water into her own mouth.

Her expression finally softened, but before she could speak, the cup in her hand fell to the ground, and she staggered and fell towards Huo Yuhao.

Huo Yuhao quickly reached out and caught her. He felt that her body was unusually soft and light, and the touch was exceptionally gentle. She also carried a very faint scent of white roses, which made him lose his mind and stare blankly at the pale-faced girl in his arms.

The next second, a familiar dragon's might emanated from behind him.

A chilling aura swept over them, yet they deliberately concealed it, so as not to disturb Aunt Su who was cooking in the kitchen.

Na'er's face was deathly pale, her eyes were wet, her shoulders were trembling slightly, and even her breathing was shaking. She could not hide the repression and pain in her heart.

Why won't you hug me?

Na'er's voice was still soft, but it was hoarse with a sob in it, and the last syllable trembled slightly, like a glass wind chime about to shatter.

"You wouldn't even accept a kiss on the cheek, you looked down on me, so why are you indirectly kissing her now?"

Her breathing gradually became uncontrollable, and even Aunt Su in the kitchen noticed something was wrong and quickly came out, carrying two plates of food.

Seeing her daughter collapse in Huo Yuhao's arms, Aunt Su quickly put the dishes on the table, rushed over, and took her daughter from Huo Yuhao's arms.

When Na'er saw Aunt Su come out, she quietly withdrew her breath, but her eyes were still wet, her lips were pursed with resentment, and her fingers were tightly gripping the hem of her clothes.

Huo Yuhao quickly asked with concern, "Aunt Su, what's wrong with her?"

Aunt Su shook her head, looked at the broken cup on the ground, and sighed heavily: "Yue Wan, she's having an attack."
