Cheng Chu didn't remember to tell Mikel about meeting Arungus at the Saint-Symplocant cultivation base until he went to bed that night.

Mikel had just finished washing up and returned to his bedroom. He leaned against the headboard, his personal computer receiving a bunch of data sent by Marshal Anaos.

These materials were given to Mikel by Marshal Anaos after they discussed the video of male insects fighting on the StarNet.

Marshal Anas also told Mikel that the information was unrelated to official business and that he could look at it after he got home from get off work.

After hearing what the male insect said, Mikel paused in his finger tapping the screen, a cold glint flashing in his eyes.

He said to the male insect, "Master, if you encounter Arungus again, ignore him. He has no good intentions."

Mikel couldn't believe it was such a coincidence that Arungus was being bullied by several female insects and it just so happened that his male insect ran into it.

Moreover, the fact that Arungus was able to enter the Saint-Honoré Vine Cultivation Base from the Imperial Botanical Research Institute in such a short time suggests that his identity is not simple.

If he's after the male insects, then he must have other methods.

"Okay, sure." Cheng Chu nodded obediently. He sat on the edge of the bed, scrolling through the screen. He muttered to himself, "Don't worry, honey, I probably won't run into him often. The breeding base is so big, I only go there for an hour each day and come back quickly, it's not that coincidental."

Cheng Chu thought that even if the number of male Zerg was small, it was unlikely that Arungus was just a love-struck fool.

He almost strangled Arungus to death; there's no way Arungus would still like him.

He wasn't so narcissistic as to think that Arungus was chasing after him.

"That would be best," Mikel said calmly, his gaze fixed on the data already loaded on the screen, without saying anything more.

However, he had already made up his mind that he would have Elijah investigate Arungus's matter tomorrow.

Finding no negative comments about Mikel on the StarNet, Cheng Chu closed his personal terminal with satisfaction.

He climbed into bed, moved his pillow over, and lay down next to Mikel. Seeing Mikel's screen, Cheng Chu asked curiously, "Wife, it's so late, are you still working?"

Mikel did most of his work in his military office, and any unfinished work he took home was completed in his study before returning to his bedroom. Cheng Chu had never seen him bring work to his bed.

"It's not work." Mikel turned his head, looking down at the lying male insect. He said, "It's some information the Marshal gave me. He specifically said it wasn't official business and told me to look at it at home."

Hearing Mikel say that only piqued Cheng Chu's curiosity further. He reached out and wrapped his arms around Mikel's waist, then peered under his arm.

"Honey, honey, may I take a look?"

"Of course, the male can look whenever he wants." Mikel raised his arm to make it easier for the male insect's head to peek over, then placed his hand on his shoulder.

The screen was lowered slightly by Mikel and placed on his leg, at an angle suitable for the male insect to view.

Cheng Chu propped himself up on the bed with his elbows, his head resting lightly on Mikel's waist.

He urged, "Quick, look! What is it?"

Mikel stroked the male insect's black hair with one hand and held the screen in the other. Unlike the male insect, she wasn't in a hurry; she just smiled and said, "Master, if you want to see it so much, just click on it yourself."

Cheng Chu eagerly reached out and opened the document, and the first thing that popped up was a piece of Zerg text.

This is a monologue from Marshal Anaos: "Mikel, time flies. Before I knew it, you'd grown so much. The first time I saw you, you were just a round little egg. Grimias said then that you were the best treasure the Insect God had given him, and he wanted to record all the meaningful things that happened during your growth. His original plan was to show it to you after you grew up and had your own offspring."

But he broke his promise, only managing to record up to when you were nine. The rest I recorded for you, not as meticulously as Gemingas, nor as detailed. Now, you've found a male insect you like and will soon have your own eggs. So, as Gemingas entrusted me, I'm entrusting this record of your growth to you.

Cheng Chu didn't recognize all of the Zerg script, but fortunately he managed to read it out haltingly at the end.

When Cheng Chu finished reading the last word, the room became completely quiet.

Mikel stared intently at the Zerg text on the screen, his blue eyes trembling slightly, his lips pressed tightly together, lost in thought.

The truth is, Grimias only entrusted Marshal Anaos with the growth records of Mikel and Tegels at the last minute, asking him to pass them on later. He didn't mean to ask Anaos to help with the recording; the subsequent recording was something Marshal Anaos wanted to do himself.

When Grimias showed such interest, Marshal Anaos joined in; they were indeed best friends.

Marshal Anaos's only male son is a troublesome insect cub that gives both the male and female parents a headache. Compared to the well-behaved and sensible Mikel, Marshal Anaos prefers the female cub from his friend's family.

Mikel felt that his emotions were becoming increasingly uncontrollable lately, perhaps because of the insect eggs.

Cheng Chu noticed that Mikel was upset, so he got up, put his arm around Mikel's shoulder, and let him lean against him.

She wanted to say something to comfort Mikel, but she was tongue-tied and didn't know what to say to appease him.

Cheng Chu even despised himself.

Before the male insect could say anything more, Mikel spoke first: "Master, let's look at the following content."

With that, Mikel quickly swiped the screen to the next page.
