While Ammonium Hill Hospital couldn't compare to the hospitals in the capital, it was still the most well-equipped hospital on Planet AF9. After receiving Marshal Anaos's video call, Mikel instructed Elijah to contact Ammonium Hill Hospital.

The original plan was to take Cheng Chu to the hospital the day after picking her up, but plans don't always go as expected. Cheng Chu got seasick on the spaceship. Not only did they arrive more than four hours later than scheduled, but after getting off the spaceship, she slept until noon.

But the insect egg was also an unpunctual baby, emerging earlier than expected.

The insects that occasionally passed by in the hospital corridor witnessed this strange scene: a tall, black-haired, black-eyed male insect stood nervously guarding the door of the delivery room. His light-colored pajamas were visibly wet at the waist and arms, and faintly emitted a fishy smell.

The production room door was tightly closed, and no one could see what was happening inside from the outside, but Cheng Chu stubbornly stood at the door waiting, not even bothering to wipe the sweat from his brow.

Elijah advised, "Lord Chengchu, the general will be out soon. Would you like to sit down and wait?"

Rows of chairs lined both sides of the corridor, but the row closest to the birthing room entrance was empty. Just then, a male insect with curry-colored hair and a female insect with pink hair and green eyes approached. The two insects went straight to the chairs, and the male sat down, crossed his legs, and began playing with his personal computer. The female insect stood guard to the side, not allowing them to sit down.

The male insect had a fleshy face, and his slick, curry-colored hair was meticulously styled. He was dressed in a brand-new suit. His legs were crossed and swinging back and forth as he intently played a game on his personal computer, his eyes flashing with anger and profanity one moment, and then he would furiously smash the screen the next.

Cheng Chu seemed not to hear Elijah's words, her eyes fixed on the door of the delivery room, her whole body radiating urgency and restlessness, wishing she could rush in to see Mikel immediately.

Seeing that Cheng Chu did not react, Elijah remembered the instructions their general had given Cheng Chu because he was worried about him. So he repeated, "Lord Cheng Chu, would you like to sit down over there?"

This time, Cheng Chu answered without even looking at Elijah, simply saying, "No need."

His mind was a mess, and he didn't want to do anything. Mikel was inside, and he didn't want to go anywhere else.

Ah Bing followed along without saying a word or causing any trouble, his little face serious as he squatted in the corner by the door, waiting with everyone.

"Damn it, that guy's a shit-eater, is he? Why is he targeting me specifically?" The curry-colored male insect character on the chair got headshot again. He stomped his foot angrily and cursed, "Bastard! Dead again!"

Outside the production room, the squeak of the curry-haired male insect was truly noise. However, no one had the time or inclination to stop him.

Suddenly, he stood up and tossed the light screen in his hand to the female insect standing to the side.

Without any hesitation, he ordered, "You play one round for me and kill him! If you lose, you try?"

The pink female insect took the light screen and respectfully said, "Yes, Master."

As he spoke, he lowered his head and started a new game, his movements skillful and his operation smooth.

The curry-haired male insect approached with an overly familiar air and struck up a conversation: "Hey bro, is that your female mate or your female servant inside? You seem so nervous, could it be your first egg?"

As he spoke, he even prepared to put his hand on Cheng Chu's shoulder.

Elijah quickly reached out to stop him, saying, "Sir, please don't get too close, thank you."

The curry-colored male insect was short-tempered. He shouted angrily, "Get out of my way! I wasn't talking to you!"

He looked Elijah up and down a few times, a malicious glint flashing in his dark green eyes.

Elijah maintained his blocking posture, his faint smile unchanged. When the male insect looked him over, he felt as if a multi-legged monster had crawled all over his body, making his scalp tingle and his whole body feel uncomfortable.

Elijah couldn't stop the curry-haired male insect from approaching, but seeing that he was just chatting and not making any other moves, he stood guard to the side.

The curry-haired male insect bypassed Elijah's outstretched hand and walked to Cheng Chu's side, teasing, "Hey, for the female insects, laying an egg is as simple as drinking water. What's there to be nervous about? They won't die."

The word "death" seemed to have touched a sensitive nerve in Cheng Chu. He clenched his fist and gradually tightened his grip, giving the male insect with curry-colored hair a cold glance.

The male insect was a chatterbox, and Cheng Chu ignored him, but that didn't stop him from talking on and on: "That one inside is my female servant. This is my fourth egg. The previous three were all useless female offspring, what bad luck. If it weren't for the male eggs, I wouldn't have come to this lousy place..."

Cheng Chu finally turned her head to look at him, her tone clearly displeased: "Shut up, you're so noisy!"

After scolding him, she turned her head back, took a few steps away from him, and continued to stare at the closed door, her disdain obvious.

Unfortunately, the curry-haired male insect was engrossed in his own world, seemingly unable to understand the insectoid language, nor could he discern Cheng Chu's dislike for him. He continued to chatter in Cheng Chu's ear: "Brother, why did you come in your pajamas? And look so disheveled. Your female is really incompetent; she can't even manage her male's everyday attire. You should teach her a lesson; those females are just so shameless. If he can't even lay a male egg this time, you should give him a good beating!"

Then, changing the subject, he pointed at Elijah and chuckled, "Is this female insect your queen or your servant? She's quite pretty, with a fair and delicate face, but...tsk tsk, she doesn't know what's good for her. Look over there, my servant, what do you think?"

The male insect's joking tone was pointed and extremely disgusting.

"Get out!" Cheng Chu's dark eyes turned cold instantly, his tone filled with chilling intent.

Cheng Chu's tactlessness made the male insect feel he had lost face, and he pointed at Cheng Chu's hand, trembling with anger: "You...you..."

Elijah stepped in front of Cheng Chu at the opportune moment, assuming a defensive stance. He would not hesitate to strike if the other dared to make a move.

"Master." The pink female insect on the chair, sensing something was wrong, immediately stepped forward. She glanced at Cheng Chu, a fleeting look of surprise on her face, and whispered in the male insect's ear, "Master, this male insect is an S-rank male insect, we cannot..."

"You knew that, why didn't you say so sooner!" The curry-haired male insect's face immediately changed. He slapped the pink female insect's right cheek. He then took a step back, glaring at Cheng Chu and stubbornly saying, "So what if you're an S-rank male insect? You're useless if you can't lay male insect eggs!"

"I'm definitely a male egg this time, just you wait and see." Before leaving, the curry-haired male insect was still spouting ridiculous threats.

But no insects care.

Cheng Chu completely ignored him, his mind was filled with Mikel, who was still suffering inside.

And Mikel, whom Cheng initially thought was suffering and in pain, was now...
