Mikel was taken aback, then his face flushed slightly. He reached out and gently pushed the male insect's forehead away, saying in a slightly helpless tone, "Master, please don't try to coax me with sweet words."

"I wasn't lying..." Cheng Chu was about to explain his innocence when he caught a glimpse of Elijah and a small female insect appearing at the door, and immediately fell silent.

Mikel looked over as well, and saw a timid little female insect following behind Elijah.

Elijah stepped aside the small female insect behind him and said, "General, Lord Chengchu, Abing has arrived."

"Greetings, Your Excellencies." Ah Bing lowered his head, his hands nervously clutching the faded hem of his clothes.

Ah Bing recalled the dejected look on the big bad female insect's face as she buried her head in her mute brother's bed; it didn't seem like she was lying.

Mikel, Elijah, and Abing—the three female insects—all focused their gazes on him.

Elijah asked curiously, "Lord Chengchu, how did you know?"
