Tokyo: I'm bound to the evil women!
Chapter 27: Bedroom
Fujiwara Matsu turned around, glanced at the house, and realized that he had indeed gone to the right house.
"You silly child, your friend is here, why are you acting like this? They came all this way specifically to see you."
"Sorry, Chiya-kun, Shiratori-kun, Matsu is usually like this."
"It's okay, Song was probably just a little surprised for a moment."
"After all, we forgot to tell him about it."
Looking at Chiya Misaki and Shiratori Saki sitting on his own sofa, Fujiwara Matsu couldn't quite believe his eyes for a moment.
He wasn't surprised that they knew his home address, since Shiratori Saki had come once before, but it just so happened that she came when his parents were home resting.
Chiya Mio's smile was bright, and her mother's expression was that kind of gentleness that Fujiwara Matsu found intimidating.
Especially when you hear the word "pine" in the name.
He had a suicidal thought.
"Perfect timing, Song's back. You guys go to his room, I won't disturb you."
As her mother walked away from the sofa, Chiya Mio approached with a smile, while Shiratori Saki stood not far away.
"Matsu, welcome home."
"Fujiwara...kun, welcome home."
"Why do you get the right to say things like that... ugh."
"What are you saying, child! How dare you speak to a guest like that?"
Fujiwara Matsu's complaints were abruptly interrupted by his mother, who flicked him on the head, cutting him off, and then poked his forehead, saying:
Faced with the suppression of his mother's bloodline, he dared not be angry or speak out.
The two women covered their mouths, trying not to laugh; it was the first time they had ever seen Fujiwara Matsu act like this.
Fujiwara Matsu's room was on the second floor. Since Shiratori Saki had been there once before, he simply pushed open the door and went into his room.
He himself didn't think anything was wrong, but Chiya Mio found it a little strange:
"Hmm? Saki, have you been here before?"
One sentence stopped the two people who were about to step inside.
"Because this is the only room with the door closed, it's obviously Fujiwara-kun's room, right?"
Shiratori Saki explained without changing her expression, and Fujiwara Matsu didn't show any additional expression either.
"Really? I didn't expect you to be so perceptive, Saki."
Chiya Misaki smiled slightly. She remembered the band-aid from last week, the wound, and the knife that Shiratori Saki had used.
If it was just a knife attack, would they have gotten into the room? Impossible.
Fujiwara Matsu's room was actually quite clean; otherwise, he would have lost face when Shiratori Saki cleaned it last time.
"Matsu, your room is surprisingly clean. What's all this?"
She had an exceptionally strong sense of curiosity, and she rummaged through Fujiwara Matsu's room.
"Don't touch my things!"
"So Matsu is an otaku? I didn't know that."
She randomly picked up a comic book from Fujiwara Matsu's bookshelf and flipped through it. His usual impression of him was indeed different from the stereotypical image of an otaku.
As for Shiratori Saki, she already knew about it from last time, so she wasn't surprised at all.
"Just a hobby."
"I've heard that guys keep weird things under their beds. Song, what about you?"
These words awakened Shiratori Saki's memories. Fujiwara Matsu didn't react much, but she remembered what she had seen that time and started to blush.
If she weren't standing behind Chiya Mio at that moment, she probably would have been recognized immediately.
"First of all, whether you're here or not, don't touch me...you..."
Fujiwara Matsu swallowed his swear words. Chiya Misaki had already bent down to look for it. From his perspective, it would be easy for him to see something he shouldn't have. Before he could turn his head, Shiratori Saki stepped forward and blocked his view.
"Fujiwara-kun, don't look."
She leaned close to his ear and whispered, her voice so soft that only the two of them could hear.
Turning her head, she met her gaze, which was not obscured. The emotions in her eyes were quite complex, including worry and unease for her young lady, as well as a deeper sense of jealousy.
After realizing he was looking at her, she reached out and pushed his gaze away.
"Also, don't look at me."
"Huh? There really isn't one? There aren't any secrets under the bed?"
After being discovered last time, Fujiwara Matsu had taken precautions and stopped keeping it under the bed.
Instead, he broke things down into smaller parts and scattered them on his bookshelf. A few comics only had titles, and most were standalone volumes, so they weren't easy to find.
He even tucked many of them into the gaps between books, such as appropriately sized comic books, light novels, and art books.
He wasn't worried at all about being found out this way; if he was still found out, he would accept it.
However, he was more worried that they would rummage through his game table, where there were things he absolutely couldn't let them find.
So he deliberately moved closer to that side.
"How could there be something like this in my room?"
He lied without batting an eye, then sat down next to his game console. In Japan, PCs were actually more expensive than game consoles, so his room contained game consoles and a TV, not a computer.
"So, what are you doing at my house?"
"Can't I play with you? Can't I?"
Chiyo Misaki sat on his bed. The girl's clothes weren't fancy; they were very casual, a simple sports t-shirt and a short skirt. In contrast, Shiratori Saki seemed more conscious of her appearance, dressed more elegantly, and looked more like the young lady from a wealthy family.
"I'm free this week, but I'll probably go out to work next week so I don't make a wasted trip."
"Work? Why?"
The girl stared intently at him, her eyes filled with threat.
"Well, university tuition, anyway, I also have other things to do."
She couldn't help but click her tongue, but mindful of Shiratori Saki's presence, she didn't say anything strange.
For example, saying things like, "Why are you going to get tuition fees? Just come and be my dog and you'll get what you want."
Shiratori Saki's gaze fell on him. As always, she was usually quiet when she was around, but he could understand what she wanted to say.
"I might go occasionally on school days, but mainly on weekends. However, I don't necessarily go every day."
This is the typical process for most high school students to get part-time jobs; he was telling Shiratori Saki that he hadn't forgotten his promise to her.
Suddenly remembering something, Chiya Mio's lips curled up:
"Hey, Fujiwara-kun, would you like to come work as a male servant at my house?"
He shuddered and instinctively brandished his sword, but Chiba Mio looked on with anticipation, and even Shiratori Saki beside him showed a hint of expectation.
Although he has never liked to refuse other people's expectations, isn't there something wrong with what they're expecting?
"I refuse."
This answer was entirely expected, and Chiya Mio didn't react much.
"Okay, but remember to tell me where Matsu works, okay? It would be nice for me to go and see what Matsu is like at work from time to time."
They chatted about this topic for a while, but because she was bored, Chiya Mio went to his bookshelf again. Fujiwara Matsu wasn't worried that she would find out, so he simply turned on the game console.
"Senior Shiratori, wanna join us?"
"Hmm? A game? I'll give it a try."
The two were opening a newly released fighting game from a developer known for its choppy, mediocre, and empty gameplay.
Chiya Mio was already somewhat curious about Fujiwara Matsu, especially since it was part of her hobby.
At this time, I took the opportunity to browse through Fujiwara Matsu's bookshelf.
"Fujiwara-kun, how do you play this game again?"
"Um, I see..."
Fujiwara Matsu only remembered that the other party was a battle maid, but forgot that fighting games cannot be considered a battle, so he turned around and seriously taught Shiratori Saki.
Because of Shiratori Saki, he didn't pay attention to Chiya Mio.
She casually pulled out a comic book, ready to read it, and then a slightly thin picture book fell out, its cover almost identical to the comic book.
"Hey, Matsu, what's that thin thing you've tucked inside the manga? Is it a diary?"
Upon hearing Chiyo's words, both of them changed their expressions upon realizing what it was. Shiratori Saki knew it was because she had seen it before.
"Holy crap, stop!"
