Tokyo: I'm bound to the evil women!

Chapter 38: It really was you

The tense atmosphere between the two was shattered by the sudden ringing of a cell phone.

Fujiwara Matsu glanced at Ichinomiya Satsuki in front of him, then got up and walked out.

The other person's gaze followed him, and whether it was Fujiwara Matsu's imagination or not, there seemed to be some displeasure in her eyes at being interrupted.

On the phone, it displayed the name Shiratori Saki.

"Hey, Shiratori-senpai? What's up? Why are you calling me all of a sudden?"

"Fujiwara-kun, there's someone else in your household now."

Wait, did she see Ayaka Ando when she went to my house?

Taking a second to process the information in the other person's words, Fujiwara Matsu recalled the first time he met the other person and quickly spoke:

"Senior Shiratori, that person is not an enemy. Don't lay a hand on her, and definitely don't kill her."

"Is this guy important?"

Sensing the doubt in Shiratori Saki's voice, Fujiwara Matsu took a deep breath.

Right now, Ichinomiya Satsuki can't leave, and Shiratori-senpai shouldn't continue to attack after I've tried to persuade her...

The next four hours are a precious window of opportunity, and Fujiwara Matsu doesn't want to let it slip by.

"Senior Shiratori, don't worry, wait for me to get back. I'm working outside right now."

"But, Fujiwara-kun, don't you not have a shift schedule?"

"It's another job. Can you stay at my place for a while?"

"Okay, I understand."

After hanging up the phone, Shiratori Saki turned to look at Ando Ayaka on the ground.

He helped her up, but the maid was not as polite as she had been to Fujiwara Matsu last time.

"Ayaka Ando? How did you manage to get Fujiwara to keep you here?"

Her eyes were exceptionally dangerous. Even though she had confirmed that Ando Ayaka was a guest permitted by Fujiwara Matsu, it didn't mean that Shiratori Saki would let go of her hostility towards her.

The guy who showed up at Fujiwara-kun's house, how awful.

Struggling to her feet, Ayaka Ando gasped for breath, still somewhat shaken.

He survived.

"Yes, Fujiwara-kun took me in because of my situation and helped me go back to school. I am very grateful to him."

Shiratori Saki glanced at her, said nothing, turned around and walked to the sofa, sitting down as if no one else was there.

The Chiya family.

"Miss, Lord Shiratori has already arrived at Mr. Fujiwara's house, but I also saw this..."

A maid sent the photos she had taken to Chiya Mio. Although the images were a bit blurry, she could still make out the extra figures in the photos.

Is this a woman? Is there a woman in Song's house, or did she open the door?

Chiya Mio thought of the woman named Ando Ayaka she had met some time ago.

So, it was her?

As the photo in her hand swiped across the window, Chiya Mio pulled two pieces of clothing out of the closet.

"Get me ready to get off the bus."

"Yes."

Inari Shrine.

After hanging up the phone, Fujiwara Matsu sat back down opposite Ichinomiya Satsuki, who was staring blankly, seemingly lost in thought.

Seeing him return, she turned and looked over.

"What price did you pay, or what did I gain?"

"You might feel it in the time to come."

"I received compensation. But perhaps... the compensation isn't obvious. No, what I lost is so obvious, it can't be."

Satsuki Ichinomiya's strength is not limited to her original attributes.

Her extraordinary wisdom over the years has given her more than just her original abilities.

Furthermore, her ingrained way of thinking, her almost absolutely rational dissociative judgment, allowed her to dance even though she was shackled.

"Is it something I can't immediately perceive clearly?"

She clenched her fist, stood up, and did a deep squat, which was extremely difficult.

"Physical fitness? No, it hasn't changed."

The girl approached Fujiwara Matsu. There were no mirrors in her room, so she judged her own changes by looking at the reflection in Fujiwara Matsu's eyes.

The distance between them closed, and the girl's steady breathing fell on his neck. There was no other emotion in her eyes, and she did not have any different thoughts because the distance between them had closed.

"His appearance hasn't changed either."

Her overly rational analytical approach meant she wouldn't consider the somewhat mysterious concept of "luck," and Fujiwara Matsu felt fortunate about her choice.

"tell me."

"Ms. Ichinomiya, do you think I should tell you?"

Ichinomiya Satsuki took two steps back, but the image of Fujiwara Matsu that she had analyzed remained clear.

"That shouldn't be the case."

She got the answer from Fujiwara Matsu's perspective.

"Is there any other work at the shrine? I should do my job well."

"Stay with me and have your fortune told."

"It would be my great honor."

The two walked together to the fortune-telling area. This time, Fujiwara Matsu finally went in from the back of the room. Apart from the shrine maiden who had been asked to help by Ichinomiya Satsuki, there was no one else there.

Fujiwara Matsu sat down behind Ichinomiya Satsuki and watched her.

The Fujiwara family.

Ayaka Ando looked at Saki Shiratori sitting on the sofa, feeling somewhat hesitant.

She was too afraid to get close to the other person, who had almost killed her.

With a sigh, she silently returned to her room—a storage room that had only recently been renovated.

Shiratori Saki watched her back, his gaze following her every move.

Is that a storage room?

Having cleaned Fujiwara Matsu's house once, she had some knowledge of its layout.

The maid remained wary of her and followed her, where she saw the converted storage room.

"What are you doing?"

Ayaka Ando felt a little nervous when she saw her. She shrank back while sitting on the bed. Saki Shiratori looked around and saw that the storage room was very clean.

It seems like it might be true?

She confirmed Ando Ayaka's words; the other person was indeed staying at Fujiwara Matsu's house, but...

I'm so jealous. Why is she living with Fujiwara-kun? Maybe I should just get rid of him... No, Fujiwara-kun made me wait for him.

Shiratori Saki closed her eyes, turned and left, trying hard to control her impulse.

Feeling flustered after being looked at like that, Ando Ayaka picked up her phone, intending to call Fujiwara Matsu, but hesitated for a moment and put it down.

She has Fujiwara-san's phone number; she must be his friend. I shouldn't cause Fujiwara-san any trouble.

Not long after, there was a knock on the door.

Shiratori Saki's eyes shone with anticipation as she jogged toward the door, at which point Ando Ayaka peeked out from the storeroom.

She also hopes that Fujiwara Matsu can come back.

"Fujiwara..."

As she opened the door, Shiratori Saki's smile froze. Instead of seeing the Fujiwara Matsu she had been expecting, she found herself standing there.

Chiya Mio, dressed in a long black dress, was smiling as she looked at her.

"Miss? What brings you here?"

"Huh? If you can come, Saki, why can't I? Aren't you welcoming me?"

"No, no! I absolutely did not have such a thought."

Like Shiratori Saki, Chiya Mio walked into Fujiwara Matsu's house on her own.

"Where's Song?"

"Fujiwara-kun went to work and hasn't come back yet."

"Sazaki, how did you get in? Is anyone else in the house?"

She already knew the answer in her heart, but she was just asking the question knowing the answer. Chiya Mio's gaze swept around Fujiwara Matsu's house, and then she saw a head peeking out from the storage room.

Found you! It really is this guy?
