Bang!

The shell struck the merchant ship's starboard side, and with a blinding flash of light, the ship began to shake violently, forcing it to reduce its speed.

A piercing alarm sounded in the cabin, and the lookout's trembling voice echoed throughout the ship through the loudspeaker.

"Pirates...pirates! Pirates! Pirates are attacking!!"

Yelena, who was in a single cabin, woke up the moment the cannons fired.

Upon hearing the announcement, she immediately opened her suitcase and changed into the clothes she had prepared to disguise her identity.

She put on a black hooded cape and a matching mask, and changed into a pair of shoes that were easy to move in.

She took her weapon, opened the door, and cautiously peeked out. She found the corridor empty; all the passengers were hiding inside their rooms, too afraid to come out.

Her figure swiftly swept across the corridor, and soon she appeared at the stern of the ship, her entire being blending into the darkness, her eyes under the hood constantly scanning the approaching pirate ship.

Bang!

The second cannon shot blasted a large hole in the merchant ship's railing.

When they were only twenty meters away from the merchant ship, dozens of grappling hooks flew from the pirate ship and tied the two ships together tightly, completely cutting off the merchant ship's chance of escape!

The piercing sound traveled across the sea and reached everyone's ears clearly:

"This is a warning! Before the third shell lands, everyone get onto the deck, or I'll blast a hole in your heads one by one!"

Faced with the pirates' blatant threat, none of the passengers on the merchant ship dared to ignore it, and people began to leave their cabins one after another.

A few minutes later, looking at the crowded deck, the pirate captain nodded in satisfaction. Very good, it seems he has a lot of intimidation power.

"I don't like killing people."

The passengers' eyes lit up. Could it be that they had encountered a good pirate who only wanted money and wouldn't kill them?

"Leave the women and treasures behind. Men, strip naked and jump into the sea. Take nothing with you. All your money and clothes are mine! Hehehehe!"

The pirate's shrill laughter instantly shattered everyone's expectations; Lady Luck had indeed not smiled upon them!

A middle-aged man with a large beard squeezed out of the crowd, looking much calmer than the others who were trembling.

"Respected pirate lord, I am the captain of this ship. Our merchant fleet pays a large sum of money to the White Bear Pirates every year in order to be allowed to conduct commercial trade in this area."

"Please, for Captain Polar Bear's sake, spare our lives. We'll hand over half of the cargo on board..."

boom!

"Ah!" The bearded man clutched his leg and collapsed onto the deck.

The pirate jumped onto the bow of the ship, his figure clearly illuminated by the lights.

Call ~

He opened his mouth and blew away the heat from the muzzle of the gun, his voice still sharp and piercing:

"What polar bear? What black bear? Listen up! I am Luke Carter, the Musketeer, captain of the Cowboy Pirates!"

"My superb marksmanship doesn't need to give anyone face! Swoosh swoosh swoosh!"

The bearded man's face grew even paler.

They had been stopped by pirates before, but each time they gave their names and paid a small fee to get through safely.

But now the worst situation has occurred: these hotheads have probably only been at sea for a short time and have never even heard of the White Bear Pirates' reputation!

"Men! These guys dare to use other pirates to intimidate their captain! What do you say we do?"

Luke Carter held a pistol in each hand, turned his head to look behind him, and his eyes gleamed with a bloodthirsty light.

"Kill them! Loot them all!" the pirates shouted, raising their weapons.

"Well said! Men, charge! Treasure, women, whatever it is, whoever gets it first keeps it!"

"Awooo!"

On the deck, the tall pirate standing at the back looked ahead with excitement, preparing to charge forward with his companions, when suddenly a strong force came from behind him. He had no power to resist and was dragged directly into the cabin!

Swish!

Just as the tall pirate was about to shout, a gleaming blade was pressed against his neck, silencing his unspoken words.

Along with the blade came another icy sensation. He glanced at his shoulder and saw that the black robe draped over it was constantly soaking his clothes with seawater.

The pirates had a guess in their minds: the guy behind them must have swum ashore from the sea!

"Is your captain wanted, and how much is the bounty?"

A deep, hoarse voice came, and the blade pressed against his neck drew even closer, the pain instantly interrupting his thoughts.

"Don't kill me! Don't kill me! I'll tell you everything! The captain's bounty is 1200 million Berries!"

"Is there a bounty on your head?"

"Yes, yes, yes! Every one of us crew members has one, mine's in my jacket pocket! You wait, I'll get it for you right away... Go to hell!"

The tall pirate paused, his hand, which had been pretending to reach into his pocket, stopped in front of his abdomen, while the gun in his other hand fell onto the deck.

He fell forward, his eyes wide open.

Yelena sheathed her sword and casually flicked off the blood.

"This is the first time someone has said they would die for me. I feel so embarrassed. I hope I'll never say something so misunderstanding-inducing again in my next life."

She pulled the bounty poster from the pirate's pocket and left the cabin without looking back.

"Let's fight these pirates!"

"Kill them!"

Negotiations broke down, and seeing that the pirates had no intention of letting them go, Captain Bigbeard abandoned his illusions and led the caravan in resistance.

The sounds of gunfire from the caravan, shouts from the pirates, and pleas for mercy from the passengers mingled together, providing excellent cover for Yelena's actions.

Hidden behind the pirates, she moved stealthily toward her target.

boom!

After sustaining a leg injury, Captain Big Beard was shot in the arm again.

Before he could even scream, he was kicked in the chest again, sending him flying backward and crashing hard into the mast!

Luke Carter slowly approached the bearded captain, blowing on the smoking muzzle of his gun as he walked.

"Should I spare your life? Go tell that polar bear that I will one day dominate the North Sea, and he'll have to wash his neck clean and wait!"

You dare to be an enemy of Captain White Bear?

The bearded captain was disdainful, but dared not show it on his face. Upon hearing that he had a chance to live, he immediately knelt down and begged for mercy, ignoring the pain.

"Thank you so much for sparing my life, sir! I promise to deliver your message!"

His eyes were full of hope. Putting aside any messages, he just wanted to get out of there alive!

Luke Carter slowly lowered his gun, and as the light in the bearded captain's eyes grew brighter, he suddenly pointed the gun at the latter again!

"I was just kidding, hehehehe!"

The mocking laughter concealed an undisguised cruelty.

"you!!"

"Sizzle sizzle sizzle!"

Looking at the weak man before him, whose expression rapidly shifted from hope to despair, Luke Carter laughed even louder.

Just as he was tired of laughing and was about to pull the trigger to send the other person on his way, a gust of wind suddenly came from behind!
