Mr. 11 looked embarrassed, his face flushed with anger. "What's so great about your assistant! I'm still a mid-level agent in the agency! Lord Black Robe is someone we painstakingly brought from the North Sea... um!"

Before he could finish speaking, two arms appeared on his shoulders and slapped his mouth, silencing his complaints.

Snapped!

The crowd looked terrified and dared not linger any longer.

After the two entered the courtyard, more than a dozen agents dressed in various styles stood up in unison and bowed respectfully to Robin.

"Vice President!"

Robin instructed, "Stand guard near the house and drive away any strangers who approach."

"yes!"

As Robin walked, he said, "As you can see, I am Miss Sunday, not an assistant. I couldn't reveal my identity in front of the outer agents just now, please forgive me."

"Um."

Yelena followed Robin upstairs to the living room, which was decorated in a bar style, with various kinds of drinks displayed behind the bar counter.

"The lounge is next door. You can go change your clothes first. We'll need to contact the president in a little while. He'll see everything in the living room."

Robin pointed to Yelena's white robe. If the president saw her dressed like that, he would probably hang up immediately.

Yelena nodded and carried her suitcase into the lounge.

She closed the door, and with her white robe half-lifted, she paused, turning to look at the ceiling behind her.

A hand grew out of the ceiling, with an eye in its palm, staring at her intently.

"Spying is not ladylike behavior."

Its eyes twitched twice, then vanished into thin air along with its palm.

A few seconds later, Yelena, now dressed as a black-robed hunter, appeared in the living room.

Robin stood behind the bar, a smile still playing on his lips, showing no embarrassment whatsoever. "What would you like to drink?"

Yelena walked to the bar and sat down. "A bottle of milk, please."

She's still growing.

Robin looked surprised, but his movements were quick; he took milk from the refrigerator and placed it on the bar.

While Yelena was checking the milk, she took two Den Den Mushi from the bar and placed one in a suitable position to ensure that the Den Den Mushi's line of sight covered both of them.

"I am Mr. 0, the president of Baroque Works, the Black-Robed Hunter. Do you agree to join my ranks and work for me?"

After the call was connected, Crocodile didn't exchange any pleasantries and went straight to the point.

"Join." Yelena naturally had no reason to refuse, otherwise she would have left after landing on the island.

"Very good. Now take off your hood. I need to know what my agents really look like."

As soon as Crocodile finished speaking, Robin rested her chin on her hand and looked over with great interest.

Yelena smiled, knowing that Old Sha would be curious about her real appearance, and she was prepared.

The hood was removed, and the headscarf and mask appeared in the video Den Den Mushi's view.

After a moment of silence, Crocodile's voice rose a few decibels. "Are you playing me?"

Robin's expression was also somewhat speechless.

"Don't rush."

Yelena removed her mask and headscarf, her long hair falling loose, revealing her rough face to the two men.

Her face was dark red, covered with freckles, her lips were pale, and the large mole on the tip of her nose was particularly noticeable.

Boom!

Robin's head slipped from her palm, her chin slamming heavily against the bar. Ignoring the pain, she stared intently at the woman opposite her.

Crocodile's voice followed, tinged with surprise, "I never imagined that the Black Robe Hunter, who has killed countless people and is famous throughout the North Sea, is actually a woman."

"Kuhahahaha... Man or woman, it doesn't matter, as long as you can complete the task I assigned!"

"From now on, your code name in the organization is Miss. Halloween. Miss. will explain the rules of Baroque and other information you need to know to you in detail every Sunday."

Click.

The sound of a camera being taken came from the video Den Den Mushi.

As Yelena's image was frozen in time, the other Den Den Mushi also ended its communication.

After putting the things away, Robin looked at Yelena with some hesitation, "You..."

"What's wrong? Are you scared?"

Yelena quickly pulled up her hood and returned to her previous attire.

"That wasn't your true appearance just now, was it?" After hesitating for a moment, Robin finally said the rest.

"You noticed?" Yelena showed no surprise.

Before heading to the Grand Line, she spent a few days learning makeup techniques from Eve. It might have worked to fool Crocodile through a Den Den Mushi, but it probably wouldn't have been very effective against Robin's amazing observation skills.

"You've really gone to great lengths to hide your identity."

Robin's tone was tinged with admiration; she couldn't possibly do something like that, a young girl who dared to transform herself into such a grotesque form.

"Aren't you afraid I'll tip off Mr. 0?"

"Can you?" Yelena picked up the milk and gulped it down in one go.

Robin neither nodded nor shook her head; she continued to scrutinize Yelena, resting her chin on her hand. "Unless you can satisfy my curiosity."

"Maybe there will be another opportunity later, let's get down to business first."

Disappointment flashed in Robin's eyes. She took a sip of the drink in her glass and slowly revealed Baroque's information.

Yelena already knew much of the information; her main concern was what behaviors would be prohibited after joining the organization.

There are only two restrictions or rules.

First, one must not reveal their identity to the outside world without the president's permission.

Second, the tasks assigned by the president must be completed, or else you will die!

Apart from that, no other actions will be restricted.

"From today onwards, your authority in Baroque will be second only to me and the president. The intelligence gathered by the company can be provided to you free of charge, except for some top-secret information."

"This is an honor that even other top agents don't have. Keep these safe, and see you next time, Miss Halloween."

Robin left behind two Den Den Mushi and then pushed open the door to leave.

Also left behind was the key to the building beneath our feet.

As a new member, she was given the following benefits: this base, along with a dozen or so agents downstairs, were all under her command.

Three nights later, Yelena left the base with her luggage.

"Keep an eye on this place. I'll let you know when there's a mission."

"Yes, Miss Halloween." The agents nodded respectfully.

She doesn't plan to stay here for long.

After playing the mysterious persona for several months, she got tired of it and wanted to go back to her true self.

Yelena quickly entered a small alley, and after winding her way through several alleys, she appeared on a street a kilometer away from the stronghold.

She had changed out of her black robe and was now dressed in a shirt and trousers, with her longsword stored in a long box on her back.

This is a sword case she made herself.

Carrying a box is more discreet than having six longswords blatantly strapped to your back.

Yelena reached for the two revolvers tucked into her waistband and nodded in satisfaction.

Music prodigy Yelena has faded from the spotlight; from now on, she's Yelena, a newly minted bounty hunter.

The next morning, Yelena went to a general store near the dock to buy some record pointers.

Just as I stepped into the store, the sound of artillery fire suddenly came from the distant sea.

Bang!
