Chapter 75 The Deceptive Purple Art [Please Read On]

Naza lay on the bed, wearing pajamas with the neckline wide open, revealing her beautiful collarbone, but the annoying pillow in front of her blocked her view.

Looking at those bright, sparkling eyes on the screen, Zhou Xun couldn't help but smile: "Are you sure?"

He leaned his phone against the mirror by the sink and began unbuttoning his short-sleeved shirt.

Naza hugged the pillow in her arms even tighter: "What's there to be unsure about? It's not like I haven't seen it before. What part of your body haven't I seen?"

"You've got some nerve today." Zhou Xun took off his shirt and threw it into the laundry basket.

Naza grunted twice.

Zhou Xun went into the bathroom, propped his phone up on a corner stand, and pointed the camera directly at his face.

The angle was perfect; Naza could only see the part of him above the shoulders.

Naza also noticed this, tilting his head to the right and then to the left, trying to find Zhou Xun's abs.

After realizing she couldn't see him no matter how she adjusted her position, she immediately pouted: "Could you stand a little further back?"

"cannot."

"Stingy," Naza snorted, but didn't insist.

She rolled over to make herself more comfortable, her two long, snow-white legs swaying behind her, seemingly trying to tumble into someone's heart.

Naza stared at the screen for a while, and when she realized that Zhou Xunzhen really didn't intend to stand back, she hummed twice more:

"Zhou Xun, you've gone astray."

"I've always been like this."

Zhou Xun turned on the shower, and the sound of rushing water filled the air. He reached out to test the water temperature, and then stood under the shower.

The mist in the lens rose from behind his shoulders.

As Naza watched Zhou Xun's hazy figure and listened to the sound of water, her heart began to race uncontrollably.

She turned over, buried her face in the pillow for a while, and when she turned back over, her face was still red.

"Zhou Xun, do you know how much you've gone wrong?"

"Where is it excessive?" Zhou Xun was using shower gel, and he put his hand down and rubbed it thoroughly.

"You deliberately prevented me from seeing, but made me hear...isn't that...?"

Naza bit her lip and swallowed the rest of her sentence.

"What is it?"

"It's... mental torture."

Zhou Xun brought his face close to the screen, deliberately raised his foam-covered arm, and said with a smile:

"I'm giving them a taste of their own medicine!"

Naza's ears turned red instantly. He stared at the arm on the screen, the muscle lines faintly visible through the mist, his mind automatically filling in the images outside the camera's view.

She opened her mouth as if to say something, but in the end only let out a "humph".

Zhou Xun was satisfied with her reaction, withdrew his arm, and began to slowly rinse the water.

The splashing water made her heart pound even faster, and she made conversation for no reason:

"Do you always take this long to shower?"

"I'm usually not slow," Zhou Xun said, "but I'll slow down a bit today because there are people watching."

"Who's looking at you, you narcissist!" Naza retorted stubbornly. "I'm just keeping an eye on you, making sure you don't wash yourself properly."

"Then where do you think I haven't washed properly? I'll wash it again."

As Zhou Xun spoke, he looked down at himself.

Naza's gaze followed his downwards for a moment, then she quickly looked back at his face:

"Zhou Xun, that's enough!"

Zhou Xun chuckled, stopped teasing her, and left the bathroom after washing his hair.

He placed his phone on the table and began wiping his body.

As Zhou Xun's body was gradually dried, Naza hugged the pillow in her arms even tighter and kicked her legs on the blanket.

"Are you done yet?" Naza asked, her voice a little urgent.

"Almost done." Zhou Xun draped the towel on the rack, picked up his phone, and returned to bed. "Why are you in such a hurry?"

"Lie down quickly, I have something to tell you." Her ears were still red. "I was so focused on watching you take a shower that I almost forgot."

Zhou Xun leaned against the headboard: "Speak."

"Our production team issued an official announcement today, confirming that the hotels we'll be staying at during filming have been booked."

Zhou Xun scratched [Jie Jie Jie]'s chin and then listened to her.

Naza took a deep breath, and the corners of his mouth began to curve uncontrollably:

"The main settings for *The Legend of Sword and Fairy Cloud* are the Qin Palace and the Qingming Scroll. Your *The Condor Heroes* also uses these two settings, right?"

Zhou Xun thought for a moment and nodded.

"I specifically asked around and found out that when we were filming at the Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival, your crew was filming at the Qin Palace."

Naza became more and more excited as she spoke, "And this route only has one hotel, which means we'll be staying at the same hotel from now on. The only difference will be the floor we're on."

Do you know what this means?

Before Zhou Xun could answer, Naza blurted it out himself:

"This means that after I finish work, I can sneak into your room. Paparazzi can't wait at the elevator entrance, so I can sneak up through the fire escape."

Zhou Xun looked at the girl on the screen, kneeling excitedly on the bed, and a smile curled up at the corner of his mouth:

"So, from now on, can I watch you take a shower too?"

The smile on his face froze for half a second, then his cheeks visibly flushed red.

"Zhou Xun! I'm talking to you seriously! And you again..."

"I'm being serious."

"You call that serious?!" Naza covered half her face with a cushion. "I'm sharing some incredibly good news with you, and what's on your mind all the time?"

"Miss you."

Naza was stunned for a moment, her temper flaring up at Zhou Xun's words, and her voice softened:

"That's the kind of thing he always says..."

A few seconds later, she pouted and said, "Don't change the subject. You hear me? When I sneak over to see you, you'd better leave the door open for me, okay?"

"I understand," Zhou Xun replied with a smile.

"Okay, that's settled then. I'm hanging up now, you should get some rest."

"Um."

After hanging up the phone, Zhou Xun rubbed his temples.

"This is such a mess..."

He shook his head, not wanting to think about it anymore.

Soldiers can be flooded by water, and so can soil!

It was past ten o'clock when Zhou Xun turned off the light and fell asleep.

The next morning, Zhou Xun appeared at the martial arts hall in Zone C on time.

Martial arts instructor Lao Chen was already waiting in the center of the field. He was wearing a faded black vest that revealed his two dark and muscular arms. He was squatting on the ground inspecting the equipment to be used today.

Meng Ziyi and Li Yitong were already sitting on the bench. Meng Ziyi was wearing a light purple practice uniform today, with her hair tied up in a high bun, revealing a section of her fair neck.

If you plant one or two strawberries on top, it will have a unique aesthetic appeal.

She watched as Zhou Xun pushed the door open and immediately jumped up from her stool, waving vigorously at him:

"Zhou Xun, Zhou Xun! Over here! I saved you a spot!"

Li Yitong sat next to her, holding a bottle of water. She nodded to Zhou Xun as a greeting, then continued to quietly drink her water.

"You're here pretty early." Zhou Xun walked over.

"That's right." Meng Ziyi put her hands on her hips, looking smug. "Tongtong and I have already run three laps to warm up. Old Chen said we'll practice the basics first, and then he'll teach you the basic techniques for shooting."

"I've already picked out the gun for you; it's on that shelf over there," she explained. "I looked at several before finding one that had the right weight and feel."

Zhou Xun smiled at Meng Ziyi, but before he could speak, Old Chen had already walked over from the center of the field.

He looked Zhou Xun up and down, his gaze lingering on his shoulders and waist for a moment, then nodded:

"Great! When we took your measurements yesterday, Aunt Ding said you were in great shape, and you do look very energetic today."

Old Chen paused for a moment, then suddenly changed the subject: "I heard from Meng that you've practiced mixed martial arts?"

Zhou Xun stared blankly at Meng Ziyi, who responded with a silly smile.

Meng Ziyi: Zhou Xun, I know you can do it!

P.S.: If I like Nazar, I'll find more pictures of her.
