The Pachi people are a long-standing ethnic group with a tradition that also includes the concept of gods.

They are a race that can master Nen, but their method of mastering Nen is rather crude, basically relying on forcibly opening the pores to activate Nen.

The Patch tribe once had several Nen users.

The previous priest disappeared, and the clan leader, along with several Nen users, went to search for him, but they also disappeared.

This directly led to the interruption of the Pachi tribe's lineage once again.

For this ethnic minority, crises have occurred throughout their long history, and each crisis has caused problems with the preservation of the Pachi people's heritage.

The current clan chief and priest are the only remaining elder Nen users in Patch Village who were forced to wear wigs.

Several Pach people died as a result.

They stopped and continued chanting only after they had both mastered the recitation.

The Pachi tribe grew from tens of thousands to thousands, but now only a few hundred remain.

The reason why the Patch tribe goes to the Sky Arena is twofold: to improve their strength so that they can cope with potential dangers, and also to try to master Nen.

The Pachi people are currently in decline, and without further changes, they may disappear from history in the long run.

They were able to reveal these details because Lucci had informed them about the underground ruins.

The arrangement of the underground ruins, the stone forest formed an expanding "devouring land" in the Basen rainforest.

Its purpose is simply to absorb "qi" in order to maintain the protection of Pachi Village.

The appearance of the "Devouring Land" indicates a problem with the protective measures and also signifies that the Patch tribe is about to face danger.

That underground ruin could probably have been managed and operated by the Patch people, but unfortunately, due to the lack of a successor, it has lost its operator.

"Lord Lucci, could you please take us to our clan's sacred land?" Monroe pleaded.

Lucci shook his head and refused.

Lucci could certainly take them there, but he didn't want to, because he wanted to keep it for himself.

Based on previous contact, the underground ruins there seem to be more than just a setup to protect Patch Village; they likely also have an impact on the Basen rainforest.

The ability to detect things at will is already impressive, but Lucci believes that's just the basics, and he might be able to "control" Basen.

Given such an opportunity, Lucci would naturally want to seize it.

He even wanted to "take control" of the Patch tribe, and he even had a general plan in mind.

Benson also started jumping up and down.

Some Pachi people, seeing this, were unsure of the situation with the chieftain and priest, as it shouldn't be time for the ritual yet, but they all jumped up along with the chieftain and priest.

Unfortunately, they cannot activate their battle runes, and therefore cannot perform a "sacrifice".

After they finished dancing, Monroe and Benson told them to go back to their own homes and return to their houses.

Their initial joy had dissipated, because they had all realized that with only two Nen users, they probably couldn't support the "sacrifice" of the ritual.

Having figured this out, they also understood that even if they could go to the holy land, they couldn't change much.

The "Devouring Land" will only expand.

Of course, we also need to hear Lucci's ideas.

"It seems you've found a way, but it doesn't solve the problem," Lucci said.

The "devouring land" must disappear, otherwise it will affect the ecological balance of the Basen rainforest.
