Mythical Creatures Strategy Guide
Chapter 12 Martial Soul Fusion Technique
Demonic Tide.
This refers to a mass catastrophe where, for unknown reasons, a large number of monsters simultaneously go berserk and riot in the same area.
The monsters in the demonic tide usually have bloodshot eyes and have lost their minds. They feel no fear, they do not retreat, they only tirelessly crush forward until they flatten everything in their path.
Chu Sheng only felt a blur before her eyes, and her figure had already risen into the air like a bolt of lightning.
He instinctively looked up. In the blinding sunlight, Arthur's skirt fluttered wildly, revealing two plump, firm thighs that gleamed with a snowy white light.
"Ella!"
Arthur roared from mid-air, "Get out of the way!"
Ella scrambled towards the bushes by the roadside, the branches and leaves swayed for a moment, and then she fell silent.
Chu Sheng saw Arthur's lips moving in mid-air and knew she was reciting a prayer again.
The greatsword in her hand was initially shrouded in a white halo, but the light grew increasingly intense, turning from white to a dazzling gold, and then from gold to an unbearable sight.
In the end, the sword seemed to have ceased to be a sword; its light overshadowed the blazing sun overhead.
"Look at this, my holy sword!!!"
hum!
A beam of light descended from the sky, striking the very center of the demonic tide like a space-based weapon!
Chu Sheng felt like his eyes were going blind. He could only vaguely see the figures of monsters being knocked away and falling down wherever the light band swept across. A few monsters in the center of the light band were directly melted into ashes.
He wiped away the tears that had welled up from the shock, and his vision returned somewhat. He crouched down and stealthily crept under the carriage.
It wasn't that he wanted to go and kill her; he was genuinely worried about Ella. That stupid dog hadn't made a sound since it rolled into the bushes.
"Ella!" Chu Sheng whispered, bending down.
The bushes ahead rustled, and Chu Sheng quickly climbed over them.
Then he saw a large, round, full drum sticking out from outside the bushes, its flesh rippling as its owner trembled.
Chu Sheng silently reached out and parted the bushes. Ella was kneeling on the ground, her tail tucked tightly under her belly, her hands covering her ears, and her head desperately trying to bury itself in the soil, as if this terrible world would cease to exist if she buried her face in the mud.
"Alright, it's me." Chu Sheng patted her head, and Ella looked up with teary eyes. Her face was covered in dirt, and a withered leaf was stuck to the tip of her nose. "Go back to the carriage and hide."
Although Ella had a considerable psychological aversion to carriages, she was even more afraid of the large group of bloodthirsty monsters, so she unusually obediently climbed back into the carriage.
After settling Ella in, Chu Sheng stepped out of the carriage again and looked up at the sky.
Arthur is still slashing.
She seemed tireless, unleashing one streak of light after another from her sword, creating a series of explosions that shook the entire area.
Where the holy light fell, the remains of the monsters were thrown in all directions by the shockwave.
But Chu Sheng clearly sensed something was wrong; the light bands had become thinner, about half the thickness of the first light band.
The holy light within Arthur was running low.
Although the frequency of her strikes remained the same, the quality of each strike was visibly decreasing.
Meanwhile, the demonic tide on the horizon seemed endless. Although Arthur's mass bombardment temporarily slowed them down, at this rate, it wouldn't be long before the monsters reached the carriage.
Arthur in the sky clearly noticed this as well.
She was high in the sky, with a much wider field of vision than on the ground, and the demonic tide stretched all the way to the horizon.
In other words, something has probably happened in the town not far away.
Thinking of this, Arthur became even more anxious. She poured out the remaining holy light within her without reservation, clenching her hands in the air. Seven beams of light burst forth from the greatsword simultaneously, gathering and extending above her head!
The seven bands of light unfolded as if controlled by an arm, like seven swords of judgment hanging in the sky.
"BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!"
Several beams of light fell simultaneously, each tracing its own elegant arc in the air, and plunged into the most densely populated area of the demonic tide!
"Arthur!"
Just then, Arthur heard Chu Sheng's shout.
She looked down and saw that Chu Sheng had somehow gotten directly below her and was looking up at her.
Chu Sheng's face was serious, his expression grave, and two streams of blood flowed from his nostrils: "Arthur! Use mine! I still have Holy Light within me!"
Arthur's face flushed red instantly. He instinctively reached out and pressed down on his skirt, both embarrassed and anxious: "Go back quickly! Drive the carriage back!"
Chu Sheng looked at the obscured beauty with some disappointment and roared, "What nonsense are you talking about! You're my legal companion! Hurry up! Stop dawdling, or we'll all die!"
Arthur gritted his teeth, transformed into a pillar of light, and descended from the sky, crashing down in front of Chu Sheng with a loud bang.
She opened her arms wide, her pretty face slightly flushed: "Hold me tight!"
Huh? Such a good thing?
Without hesitation, Chu Sheng opened his arms and strode forward.
"This is to increase the contact area and improve the efficiency of holy light transmission! Don't get the wrong idea!" Seeing his impatient look, Arthur quickly cut to the chase.
"I understand," Chu Sheng said solemnly. "It's all for the empire."
Suddenly, as if remembering something important, Arthur abruptly crossed his arms protectively in front of his chest: "Wait!"
Her expression turned unnatural, her gaze darted around, and she pointed behind her: "You... hug the back."
Chu Sheng's eyes lit up.
The later ones are good, each has its own merits.
"Something's not right!" Arthur noticed the fleeting look of joy on his face and immediately realized something was amiss.
Although the front lines have fallen, we must at least hold onto the rear!
She bit her lower lip: "Let's go for the front."
Chu Sheng didn't care. He strode forward and hugged Arthur from the front.
Blanch!
Failed!
That's a breastplate on the front!
Chu Sheng's cheek stung from the high bulge of Arthur's armor, and he grimaced as he looked up: "And then? What else do I have to do?"
Arthur looked down at his discomfiture and smiled triumphantly: "Hold on tight, and I'll make you fly!"
Then, to Chu Sheng's horrified gaze, Arthur slightly bent his knees and soared into the air like an arrow released from a bow!
Chu Sheng felt as if the holy light within him was being drawn, causing his entire body to press tightly against Arthur, as if he were about to be swallowed up by her.
He instinctively wrapped his arms and legs around Arthur's body like an octopus.
"Slow down! You're going to drain me dry!"
Chu Sheng gritted his teeth.
Arthur ignored her; she had entered a rather strange state.
She felt that the holy light she absorbed from Chu Sheng's body was incredibly pure—no, not just pure, but truly pristine.
This holy light seemed to have no affiliation, no impurities, belonging not to the sanctuary, not to the empire, and not even to the Holy Father.
This is a holy light that belongs only to Chu Sheng.
Arthur had a sudden inspiration, held the sword with both hands, and closed his eyes.
hum!hum!hum!
The air vibrated like a great bell, its sound echoing through the sky. Arthur's body shone brightly, and layer upon layer of halos emanated from her, transforming her into a blazing white star suspended in mid-air.
She opened her mouth, ready to recite the prayer.
Then, for some reason, those words suddenly turned into a strange syllable that she herself did not understand.
"EX——"
The light on the greatsword suddenly dimmed for a moment.
"Calibur!!!"
The world was dark, and the sun and moon had no light!
The moment the sword was swung down, it seemed as if all the light within a radius of several miles was forcibly drawn away and poured into the blade.
Then, the light returned.
The beam of light slashed down from Arthur's sword with a deafening roar, and with a sharp whistling sound, it crashed into the very center of the demonic tide like a towering white pillar!
boom!!!
At first, Chu Sheng only smelled a burnt smell.
Then, he felt nothing at all, his head lolled to the side, and he passed out.
Just before Chu Sheng fainted, Arthur had already shielded his eyes and ears with a gentle holy light. After confirming that he would not be harmed by the aftershocks of the holy light, she lowered her head in disbelief to look at the holy sword in her hand that was still shining brightly.
What just happened?
What exactly is a "curry stick"?
The enormous beam of light carved a bloody path hundreds of meters long and more than ten meters wide into the ground, and the sides of the path were melted into a semi-solid, glassy substance by the high temperature.
Those magical beasts that were lucky enough to escape being directly hit by the beam of light had their eyes clear, looking around blankly before scattering in all directions like birds and beasts.
Chu Sheng felt as if he were in his mother's arms as an infant, warm and very comfortable.
However, his chest was getting hotter and hotter, and the baby Chu Sheng scratched his chest irritably, trying to pull something out.
Strategy Guide!
"what!"
Chu Sheng suddenly woke up, panting heavily.
What came into view was a perfect face so close to my eyes.
It's Arthur.
She was too close.
Chu Sheng was so close that he could even see the fine, translucent down on her flawless white skin, and her breath on his face was warm and fragrant.
"Chu Sheng."
Arthur looked down at Chu Sheng in his arms and spoke.
"Something hard is poking me."
