"Rules conflict…opposition of underlying logic…the struggle for 'definition rights'…" he muttered to himself, each word like a key trying to unlock a tightly closed door. "Jarvis, remodel! Add the 'definition rights conflict' that Haotian sensed earlier as a core variable! I need to see their specific interactions at the molecular level, simulating the optimal timing and intensity of energy buffer intervention!"

"A new model is being built, and the computational load is exceeding expectations; it will take time." Jarvis's steady electronic voice echoed in the somewhat quiet laboratory.

Chen Haotian walked to the isolation wall, frowning slightly as he looked at the frozen, murky sample inside. "That's right!" Tony whirled around, his face beaming with the elation of a scientist discovering a new continent. "That's the key! It's not just a simple difference in the nature of their energy; it's a clash of the 'foundations of existence' they represent! The Extremis virus optimizes and strengthens within the existing framework, while the T-virus aims to tear apart the old framework and establish a completely new order centered around it! This isn't just about viruses; it's a battle between two 'paths'!"

He used a term with a slightly Eastern philosophical flavor, which made Chen Haotian raise an eyebrow. It seemed that Tony had been exposed to a lot of the miscellaneous knowledge he had brought during this time.

"Therefore, simply 'buffering' or 'learning' may only be treating the symptoms, not the root cause," Chen Haotian continued, his mind racing. "We need a... higher-level 'power' that can, to some extent, 'coordinate' or 'suppress' these conflicts at the rule level. At least, in the early stages of their integration, we need to provide a stable 'platform'."

Tony snapped his fingers. "Great minds think alike! We need a 'referee,' or a 'cornerstone.'" His gaze swept over a separately sealed safe in the corner of the lab, where they stored some peculiar materials they had obtained from other experiments or unknown sources. "Jarvis, pull up a complete list of all documented substances with high stability, high energy affinity, or compatibility with unknown rules!"

The data stream on the holographic screen changed, listing the names and property analyses of dozens of materials. From fragments of vibranium alloy to some Uru metal powder from Asgard (obtained through special channels), to some energy crystals rarely seen on Earth.

Chen Haotian's gaze swept over several items before finally settling on a project codenamed "VC-07". It was a transparent crystal fragment they had collected during an unexpected spatial disturbance. At the time, they detected an extremely stable and neutral void energy within it, which exhibited rare "inertia" and "inclusivity" towards various energy forms. However, because they could not analyze its specific mechanism of action, it had been sealed away for research.

"Technical challenges are meant to be overcome!" Tony exclaimed, his previous frustration completely gone. "We can't just throw the crystal in; we need to find a way to make its 'stability' and 'neutrality' properties work at the molecular level... Perhaps we can try using the Extremis virus as a carrier?"

Chen Haotian instantly understood his meaning: "You mean, first let the Extremis virus 'envelop' or 'connect' a tiny amount of crystalline structure to form a built-in 'stable core,' and then contact the T-virus? That way, when the T-virus's rules try to invade, they will first encounter this 'stable core' as a buffer?"

"That's right!" Tony excitedly began working on the control panel. "The Extremis virus has bioprogramming properties. We can try editing some of its surface proteins to enable it to adsorb or temporarily bind VC-07 crystal nanoparticles! This is equivalent to giving our 'soldiers' a layer of 'rule-buffered armor'! Jarvis, immediately design the relevant virus modification scheme and nanoscale crystal dispersion and injection process!"
