Village chief, your township enterprise sells laser cannons?
Chapter 90: You exchanged 20,000 barrels of oil for this?
Ali, sitting in the back, didn't answer, but instead looked up at the ride-hailing driver.
Amar saw all of Ali's actions. With a quick glance, he knew that Ali was wary of the ride-hailing driver ahead, fearing that the other party might be a member of the National Security Bureau who could understand them. So he simply didn't press the matter further.
The journey to Guangzhou was quiet. Upon arriving at the agreed-upon Guangzhou International Airport, Lin Yaohai had just gotten out of the car when two people in work clothes with work badges approached him.
After exchanging phone calls and confirming that it was Deli and the customs officer who would help with the paperwork, Lin Yaohai turned around and led Amar and the others to fill out the forms.
Those with work badges also climbed onto the vehicle and began the inspection.
On the other side, after filling out the information, Amar and his group found a corner out of the surveillance cameras and watched the customs officers inspect the equipment.
After watching for a while, he suddenly asked Ali, "You still haven't answered my question from the car. What did you see in that village these past two days?"
After those words, the atmosphere became exceptionally serious, and even the hot wind of late July seemed to turn somewhat chilly.
Under the watchful eyes of Amar and the others, Ali gently shook his head:
"I didn't see anything!"
He then spread his hands: "This is just an ordinary village, exactly the same as many villages in China that we see on that app called Douyin."
"Several hundred households, the young people go out to work, the elderly stay at home, and the children are sent to the city."
"There are two factories, but they are barely surviving."
"Although it's better than our villages in Iran, it's not good enough to produce this kind of high-tech equipment."
"I simply cannot imagine that this thing came from a place like this."
"I now strongly suspect that this is a trap set by someone else, and we have already fallen into it."
Listening to Ali's complaints, Amar thought of the Red Star Village he had seen in the past two days.
This does indeed look like a trap.
But it's too late now; they've already fallen into the trap.
Or rather, the bait in the trap was so tempting that they couldn't resist it, and so they jumped in willingly.
With a sigh, Amar walked towards the crowd in the distance, reminding Ali and the others behind him, "Don't overthink it, it was all our own choice."
"Ali, I have a new task for you. Once the inspection here is completed and you have obtained customs clearance, immediately buy a plane ticket, check in your luggage, and fly directly to Tehran first thing tomorrow morning."
"We started testing as soon as we got off the plane."
"Test it by every means possible to find out its limits. Also, you need to pay attention to the movements of other people."
Ali understood Amar's implied meaning and nodded, "Understood!"
Customs inspection was swift, completing the process in less than an hour.
After handing over the relevant documents and certificates to Lin Yaohai, the customs officers and Deli staff disappeared into the brightly lit cargo terminal of Guangzhou Yangcheng International Airport.
Having obtained the customs clearance documents, Lin Yaohai immediately distributed them to Lucius and Amal:
"Do you need my help?"
"I won't trouble you with the rest. I've already made the arrangements. It will be loaded and sent to Europe in a bit." Lucius waved the documents in his hand, then took out his phone and started making a call.
Rajad, standing to the side, gently shook his head at Lin Yaohai: "Mr. Lin, your willingness to sell this to us is the greatest help you can give us."
"Inside is the airport cargo terminal. We'll send the goods in, complete the formalities, and then we can fly directly to Tehran."
"Hurry up, we'll have the test results by tomorrow night."
"With the test results, we can proceed with the next step of our collaboration."
Upon learning that the other side didn't need his help, Lin Yaohai was relieved and nodded, "It's alright, I'll stay in Guangzhou for two days."
"Call me anytime if you need anything."
"I'll go first!"
Lin Yaohai got into the car and drove away. Once Amar and the others disappeared from the rearview mirror, he immediately took out his phone and sent a message to Lin Man:
[Level cleared!]
After sending the message, he found a secluded spot to park his car, got out, and sat on the curb to smoke.
On the other side, not long after Lucius finished his call, two people rushed out of the cargo terminal at Guangzhou Yangcheng International Airport.
Upon seeing them, Lucius pointed to the cargo boxes beside him: "Send this shipment to Europe as quickly as possible."
The two men nodded and then directed the trucks carrying the cargo containers to head into the freight station.
Lucius watched the other person leave, whistled, turned around, got into his Mercedes, and drove away.
As night fell, Amar watched the Mercedes drive away, then turned his gaze to Rajad:
"Let's go, we should go and check in our luggage."
Working from dawn till morning, a group of people finally managed to load Ali and his cargo onto the Mahan Air plane before it took off.
Once the plane took off, Amar turned around and said, "Let's go, let's rest first. After we've rested, we'll go see that photovoltaic company this afternoon."

Looking at the boxes being unloaded from the plane and Ali bustling about nearby, a middle-aged man in military uniform, with a turban and a full beard, walked over with a displeased expression:
"Is this what that idiot Amal got in exchange for two million barrels of oil?"
"Isn't he a little too stupid?"
"Does he know how many industrial products he could exchange for two million barrels of oil and ten million US dollars in cash?"
"You idiot, an incurable idiot!"
Hearing the middle-aged man's accusations, naming him by name, Ali put down the box he was carrying, stood up straight, and walked menacingly toward the man:
"Colonel Kavan, the purchase of this item was Colonel Amal's suggestion, and it was a decision made unanimously after discussions among several commanders."
"If you have any objections, you can raise them during the joint discussion among the provincial commanders. Everyone can discuss it openly. If you remain silent during the joint discussion, it will be assumed that you agree."
"You shouldn't be spouting nonsense here afterward."
"I agreed!" Kavan spread his hands. "But I didn't expect that what you bought would be something like this."
Kavan stepped forward, opened the box, revealing a laser defense system inside, and then pointed to the laser defense system:
"This thing looks...it looks like a toy."
"I now seriously doubt that the video Amar showed us was fake."
"But the items have already been purchased and delivered, so there's no point in me saying anything more."
"I need to take this thing to the western air defense position now to test its performance."
"You're Amal's subordinate, do you want to go over there?"
