After nightfall, Sun Wukong led Xuanzang and the others out of the village and headed west.

The wind swept into the entire White Tiger Ridge, covering the bright moon in the sky and burying the mountains and forests on the ground.

The villagers were all swept away by the gale and could only lie on the ground to avoid the storm.

When they regained consciousness, the dark clouds in the sky had dispersed, the bright moon had faded, and half of the sun was peeking out in the east.

That night was like a dream.

Only Sun Qiong emerged from the cave at White Tiger Ridge, looking down at the edge of the ridge.

Several people were standing behind him at that moment.

They are the local earth gods and mountain spirits.

"Great Sage, you've allowed us to stay by your side all this time, leaving this place to that Corpse Demon, saying it will help restore White Tiger Ridge."
