Chapter 366 The Guest

Chapter 366 The Guest

"The Swift Knight truly lives up to his reputation as the best healer in the legend."

In the spacious room, Sisley's unique voice echoed from the spot.

She held a silver glass bottle in her hand. She had already drunk part of the medicine inside, and it was now working to remove the pollution caused by the seed of contamination from her body.

Feeling all this, she looked at the silver potion in her hand and couldn't help but sincerely admire Adir's medical skills.

"Is it effective?"

Beside her stood Decarli, looking at Sisley with a tense expression.

"It works." Seeing Decarli's nervous expression, Sisley nodded: "I can feel the changes in my body. In at most half a month, the thing on my body will be expelled, and I will return to my original state."

"That's good." Dekali breathed a sigh of relief. "As long as the pollution on your body is removed, with your talent and the power of the Crystal Heart, you may become a Radiant Knight within three years."

"Perhaps." Decarli shook her head. "Becoming a Radiant Knight would be good, but at this point, even one Radiant Knight might not be able to change much of the situation."

"At most, this will only make me a little less reserved when I'm around Alina."

Hearing this, Dekali fell silent, unsure of what to say.

The world has changed a lot in recent years.

For some unknown reason, in addition to the destruction of many kingdoms due to the outbreak of the polluted seeds, many people rose rapidly and reached the pinnacle in an instant.

Among these rising stars, Alina and Kradis stand out, having each become a Radiant Knight a little over a year ago.

"Alina's situation is understandable. After all, she has the recognition and companionship of the royal guardian, and she can use many of the things left behind by the first King Maran. Although it is surprising, it is not impossible for her to become a Radiant Knight in such a short time."

"But what gives Claudius the right?"

Thinking about everything that had happened in the past two years, Sisley was a little confused, and this thought flashed through her mind.

"Princess..." Dekali's voice rang out from the side.

She looked at Sisley before her, hesitated for a moment, and finally asked, "What exactly do you want to do by inviting the Swift Knight?"

"Is it just to cure the plague?"

"Not entirely." Sisley shook her head. "If we just want to cure the plague, all we need is the potion recipe; we don't need the Swift Knight himself to come with us."

"What I really want is the Swift Knight himself."

"The Wind Rider himself?" Dekali frowned upon hearing this. "You want to subdue this Wind Rider?"

"If possible, that would be best, but it's unlikely." Sisley shook her head, not very confident. "Judging from this knight's past deeds, if he really does return, he'll most likely go to find Elina. The chances of him staying under my command are very small."

"But that's enough." She continued, "The Swift Knight has a good relationship with both Alina and Claudius."

"He risked his life to save Alina several times, and he was also Claddis's teacher, and had a close relationship with them."

"You intend to influence Princess Elina and His Majesty Claudius through the Swift Knights, thereby affecting the kingdoms of Maran and Guno?" After a moment's thought, Decarli asked with a hint of realization.

"That's right." Sisley nodded gently. "Don't forget our original purpose."

"Our true purpose in coming to the East is to unite with the Sylphs, Maran, and Guno, and to declare war on the Turing Cult by forming an alliance with these three nations."

She got up, stood by the window, and looked at the vast sky outside: "The seeds of pollution are still erupting. If this continues, my brothers won't be able to hold on for much longer."

"Only by uniting the three kingdoms as soon as possible and declaring war on Turing together can we relieve some of the pressure on my brothers."

Bathed in sunlight, a hint of sorrow appeared on the girl's usually calm face.

·······························································

"It's such a remote place."

At night, a group of people were walking on the streets of the small town.

These people were all dressed in black uniforms and had identical longswords at their waists. They were walking around here, led by a young man.

After a short while, they arrived at a spacious courtyard and stopped there.

"Is this the place?"

Looking at the courtyard before him, sensing the familiar atmosphere, the man murmured.

"Yes."

Someone behind them responded enthusiastically: "Princess Sisley of the Dekar Empire, and the Swift Knight from three years ago, are both here."

"Is that so?" The young man smiled, a stiff smile appearing on his fairly handsome face. "Swift Knight, it's been three years since we last met. It's been a long time."

"Go in."

With a creak, he pushed open the door and led his men inside.

It was the middle of the night, and the road was quiet, without a single person in sight.

They walked among them, making very little noise, so little that they attracted no attention.

"Monla".

In the middle of the night, in a large hall, as if sensing something, Adir put down the potion bottle in his hand and called out to Monra beside him.

"Huh?" Beside him, Monra opened his eyes, looking at Adir with some surprise: "What's wrong, teacher?"

"Go and wake your princess." Adir turned slightly to the side, looking in a certain direction in the distance, his expression calm. "We have guests."

After saying this, he put down the medicine bottle in his hand and walked outside.

················

"It's so lively..."

Entering the courtyard, the young man was somewhat surprised to see Sisley and her entourage already set up and fully prepared to welcome him: "How did you know?"

"Shadow Aura, are you a member of the Turing Cult?" The only response he received was Dekali's cold voice from the other side.

Dekali, clad in red leather armor and holding a longsword, stared coldly at the young man opposite her, her eyes filled with intense killing intent, as if she were about to attack at the slightest provocation.

"Good eye."

The young man didn't seem to mind Decarli's attitude. Instead, he smiled and clapped before stepping forward to introduce himself: "It's our first time meeting. Please allow me to introduce myself."

"Nethersser, one of Turing's Guardian Knights."

He introduced himself with a smile, appearing very polite and showing no sign of hostility.

"The Shadow Knight? Wasn't he already dead?"

Standing behind Sisley, listening to Nesser's words, Monla frowned first and asked with some doubt.

"Yes, that's right, he's dead." Nesser nodded very seriously. "So, his place is mine."

"Nethersel," Sisley said gravely, looking at Nesel before her, "What are you doing in this remote town in the middle of the night, a dignified Guardian Knight of Turing?"

"Of course, it's to find an opportunity to kill you all." Nesser looked at Sisley with a smile, a hint of amusement and regret in his eyes. "What a pity. I was planning to ambush you while you were asleep, but I had barely stepped into this house when you were all waiting here."

His words immediately sent a chill down the spines of Sisley and the others.

Knights possess extremely powerful sensory abilities. Under normal circumstances, even when asleep, their bodies retain incredibly strong instincts. If another powerful knight enters a certain range, it will instantly trigger a qi reaction, waking the sleeping knight.

However, this time when Nesser infiltrated the place, he not only failed to alert Sisley and the others, but even the guards that Sisley had set up beforehand did not notice him at all.

If Adir hadn't warned them beforehand, they probably wouldn't have reacted at all even when the Shadow Knight had the knife to their necks.

The thought sent chills down Sisley's spine, and the murderous intent in her eyes grew even stronger.

"Don't be nervous, don't be nervous."

On the other side, Nesser still had that same grinning face: "By the way, I wanted to ask you something."

"Where is the Swift Knight? I need to speak with him."

As soon as he finished speaking, the place fell into a deathly silence.

Sisley's face was icy, but at that moment a surge of anger rose within her.

The fact that Adir was living in seclusion in this small town was a secret, and few people knew about it except for the few people around Sisley.

But now, she has only been gone for a few days, and the Turing Cult has already received the news and even sent people over in person.

Clearly, the problem lies with her; there's a high chance she's the mole.

On the other side, looking at Sisley's appearance, Nesser seemed to find it amusing, laughing incessantly with a stiff smile on his face.

Just then, a soft footstep sounded from behind.
