Adir spoke up, then looked at the two letters in front of him: "Those two masterminds have probably already set their sights on me."

"Let's go to Wind Nest Tavern!"

"Okay." Mar nodded, instantly understanding Adir's plan.

"I've gathered the souls you requested. Shall we begin?"

Adir raised his head and looked directly at Sham, his expression completely calm.

"Of course, of course."

Sham shrugged, his expression quite innocent: "I'm the most trustworthy person. Since you've brought me what I asked for, I'll naturally keep my promise."

"For a demon to claim he keeps his word—that's a truly excellent joke."

Adir remained silent, but Mar, standing beside him, couldn't help but sneer, expressing deep doubt about the demon's credibility.

"Perhaps," Sham smiled, seemingly unconcerned by Mar's doubts. "But besides me, you have no other choice, do you?"

In the distance, a soft chirping sound slowly rose.

Adir looked up into the distance and saw a flock of small black birds flying across the sky, circling above the Wind Nest Tavern, and lingering there for a long time.
