Dragon Raja: The Divine Man Lu Mingfei

Chen Wenwen was awakened by a series of indistinct conversations. The moment she regained consciousness, an unfamiliar atmosphere overwhelmed her. She looked around blankly. The exquisite crystal chandelier, the soft silk bedding, and the faint fragrance in the air all reminded her that she was in a completely unfamiliar place. Judging from the furnishings, it was a hotel, and a high-end one at that.

Looking in the direction of the sound, she saw Su Xiaoqiang and another person—Lu Mingfei.

The moment her gaze fell on Lu Mingfei, Chen Wenwen felt a buzzing in her head, as if a string had snapped. The image of Lu Mingfei forcibly kissing her yesterday flashed before her eyes, after which she fainted, and then woke up today in a hotel, with Lu Mingfei there as well. "What are you talking about?" Lu Mingfei asked, feigning ignorance.

He wasn't as patient with Chen Wenwen as he was with Su Xiaoqiang, and he didn't care what Chen Wenwen thought. He considered last night's incident as payment for healing Chen Wenwen's soul wounds. Of course, if anyone asked why Chen Wenwen's soul was injured, Master Lu would only say that you shouldn't ask.

Although Su Xiaoqiang had always disliked Chen Wenwen, she felt that what happened last night should be clarified to prevent Chen from overthinking. She tugged at Lu Mingfei's sleeve and shared her thoughts.

Before Chen Wenwen could recover from the strange tremor, Lu Mingfei's voice rang in her ears. Her attention was completely drawn to that voice; she felt as if it were wrapped in a soft, magical power, seeping into her heart through her ears, warming her entire body. She couldn't help but want to move closer, to immerse herself in that voice, to be forever bound to its owner, never to be separated again.

Suddenly, a hand gently patted Chen Wenwen's back. She jolted awake, as if from a long dream. Then, Su Xiaoqiang's voice came from behind her: "Chen Wenwen, what are you daydreaming about? Are you alright?"

Only then did Chen Wenwen belatedly lower her head. Before she knew it, her body had involuntarily leaned forward, and almost half of her shoulder was pressed against Lu Mingfei.

"Ah!" she gasped, her cheeks flushing red like ripe cherries. In a panic, she shrank back abruptly, wishing she could immediately put as much distance as possible between herself and Lu Mingfei, her ears burning hot.

Su Xiaoqiang was puzzled by this scene. She subconsciously looked at Lu Mingfei, hoping he could explain Chen Wenwen's strange behavior.

Lu Mingfei naturally understood her meaning. He glanced at Chen Wenwen, who was still blushing, before speaking, "Chen Wenwen's situation is normal. She suffered a soul trauma just like you. When I treated you, I probed my spiritual power deep into your bodies and used my bloodline to activate and strengthen the dragon blood factors that were originally latent within you. Simply put, it's as if the blood in both of your bodies will be related to mine from now on. We have a blood relationship, so it's normal for you to feel close to me."

You said 'It's fine if you call me that,' does that mean... you actually don't mind calling me that?"

"You!" Su Xiaoqiang's face turned red with choke, and she pointed at Lu Mingfei, unable to utter a complete sentence for a long time. Just as another slap was about to land, a mocking voice suddenly interrupted:

"Hey, flirting with your sweetheart so early in the morning?"

The two turned their heads and saw Nuonuo leaning against the bedroom door frame, arms crossed, a half-smile on her lips, her eyes full of interest in watching the show.
