Chapter 125 The Infinite One, Tarasim?

Tarashin the Infinite?

The most famous collector in the Warhammer universe, the overlord of the Necromancer Solnarmus dynasty, whose lifelong pursuit is to collect rare items from all over the galaxy. He is unpredictable and moves between various factions with his numerous high-tech collections.

Thinking of this, Li Wei quickened his pace. He didn't want to deal directly with Tarasin, the famous collector in the Warhammer universe.

Whether it's not that important or not, Li Wei didn't dare to gamble.

He feared that his unique existence would also be targeted by Tarasin, collected into Tarasin's vast treasure trove, and reduced to a mere display item.

He wasn't afraid of Tarasin's combat power, but rather of the bizarre technology that the space undead were constantly coming up with, or rather, he was afraid of the strange and wonderful black technologies in Tarasin's treasure trove.

What makes Tarasin special is his collection of strange creations and treasures; whatever strange phenomena occur there, Levi considers them normal.

He'd rather not be collected into the exhibit than become a museum piece.

As for whether his psionic abilities could defeat those advanced technologies, Li Wei thought he was overthinking it.

In the Warhammer universe, the real universe, technology reigns supreme. Unless a psyker reaches the level of an Emperor, the firepower of a single battleship can obliterate a psyker who can command the wind and rain.

Of course, the special thing about psionicists is that they can turn the mundane into the magical and reach realms that technology cannot reach.

However, the advanced technology in the Warhammer universe is, in some ways, even more outrageous and difficult to defend against than psionic technology.

But in the next instant, Li Wei no longer needed to consider whether psionic energy was more powerful than technology.

He constantly probed the psychic energy around him and suddenly sensed something was wrong. A strange thing appeared not far behind him, lifeless yet slowly moving.

"Sigh, I knew I was being watched."

Li Wei sighed inwardly, realizing something was wrong.

He sent a psychic communication suddenly into the depths of Horus's mind ahead, a brief notification.

"Commander, if there are any special circumstances, I am confident I can leave. As for the exit, I have already stabilized the entrance. Once you reach your positions, you can leave on your own."

The telepathic message had barely finished when Horus, who was walking forward, paused, making a dull thud on the ground. But he only hesitated for a second before continuing on his way without making a sound.

Horus's movements became a bit stiff, but he could only trust Li Wei, believing that Li Wei could handle things properly and wouldn't hold the team back.

Previously, Li Wei had already corrected and stabilized the entrance to the Space Necromancer Dynasty cave. He did not understand the black technology of the Space Necromancers, but the entrance was not just a purely technological product; it contained some of the spatial laws of the real universe.

Li Wei used his psionic abilities to forcibly straighten out the complex and fragmented laws of spatial transportation, achieving a level where it could pass through on its own.

After doing all this, Li Wei stopped, turned around, and looked at a shadowy corner of a corridor not far away.

There was a skeleton covered in golden bone armor, dressed like a high priest of the Mechanicus, looking himself up and down as if he had found a rare and precious treasure.

"This... they really are targeting me."

Li Wei's lips twitched, and he muttered to himself.

Feeling uncomfortable being stared at, he didn't rashly take the initiative to attack; he couldn't afford to break off relations here.

After all, he was deep within the heart of the Necromancer Kingdom in space; to use force here would be tantamount to suicide.

Most importantly, the Infinite One, Tarasin, showed no hostility, though he didn't know how he could sense it from a skeleton.

Levi clearly saw Tarasin's increasingly infatuated expression and quickly said, "Tarasin the Infinite, ruler of the Solenams Dynasty, great overlord of the Fear of Death, I, on behalf of the chief think tank of the Imperial Thousand Sons Legion, extend my greetings to you. I have long admired your name."

This compliment successfully interrupted the gaze of the space necromancer opposite him, who was possibly Tarachin; a faint green light emanated from his empty eye sockets.

"Lord Li Wei, as expected of the chief think tank of Qianzi, a knowledgeable psychic scholar, I am quite surprised that you know my name."

"Hmm..." Hearing that the person on the other end was indeed the Infinite One Tarasin, Levi breathed a sigh of relief. He was really afraid that it wasn't Tarasin. If it were some other overlord-level being of the space undead, Levi felt that today would be a real problem.

Space necromancers are beings that inherently hate living things. They usually wipe out intruders without any communication or nonsense.

While the Infinite One, Tarasim, is addicted to collecting unusual items and even wants to add himself to his collection, he is still capable of engaging in conversation.

At least they could sit down and talk, which is why Li Wei didn't invite Horus. He was afraid that Horus was hot-tempered and might start a fight at the slightest disagreement.

He composed himself and said calmly, "I wonder what brings the Infinite One, Tarashin, here? If there's nothing else, I'll be leaving."

As soon as he finished speaking, he turned to leave, intending to use his psychic teleportation ability to leave directly.

Escaping the gaze of the Infinite One, and being stared at by a soulless mechanical skeleton, would send chills down anyone's spine.

I want to escape.

"Wait, Lord Li Wei, don't you want to know some of your own secrets? Secrets that are related to ancient times, you know?"

Taracin's voice was cold and mechanical, but Levi could clearly sense the calculating emotions in his words. He was tempting him, hoping that Levi would need his help.

Is that correct?

Levi stared into Tarasin's shimmering, eerie green eyes, and he seemed to see a human-like, amused smile on his face as he was being sized up.

But he felt that the scene before him was familiar.

The next instant, he suddenly realized that this scene was the familiar one that the Spirit Clan's Laughing God had used to lure him.

Is this really normal?

What exactly is the secret?

Is it really normal that this has led to top figures from both the Necromancers and the Adalin race secretly probing him?

He subconsciously believed that the secret spoken of by the Infinite One Tarasim was the same secret spoken of by the Laughing God of the Eldar.

He also felt that this secret was very important.

But after thinking for a long time, he couldn't find any specific information. He felt that he was just a nobody, the chief think tank of the Thousand Sons Legion. How could he possibly be related to such ancient secrets?

But as it turns out, he is indeed very mysterious, and it's not just because he's a time traveler; there are probably other deeper reasons that have attracted so much attention.

He frowned and said in a deep voice, "A secret? What secret could possibly require the Infinite One Tarasin to specifically tell me? Isn't that a bit unusual?"

"Haha, that's perfectly normal. Do you really think you're just an outsider?"

Taracin opened his skeletal jaw and emitted a dry, grating mechanical laugh, which sent a chill down Levi's spine and caused his expression to change drastically.
