Chapter 1052, Part 1048: Waiting for the Answer (Second Update)

"Latvinia has already warned the world that an alien fleet is heading towards our solar system. Yet, fools remain indulging in the thrill of power struggles and wealth accumulation, instead of actively developing technology to fight off the enemy or cooperating to end the conflict. I extend an invitation here: I will share our space station and Martian foundry with all willing nations, sharing all technologies and knowledge that can be used to resist the alien fleet. Latvinia has mastered faster-than-light space travel technology. After defeating the alien fleet, humanity will join hands to venture into the stars and embrace our destiny of ruling the galaxy. I promise to always stand at the forefront, resisting the threat of human extinction and expanding the territory for the human race. The prerequisite is... that you stand with me on the same front against the threat of human extinction."

Even a brief pause can be fatal; when he paused, some even forgot to breathe. The silence in the meeting hall was broken by a commotion. Tita opened the communication channel, signaling the combat sisters standing at the door to deal with the politicians who had been thrown out of the hall earlier. It seemed their ordeal had given them the illusion that Salomon wouldn't dare kill them, that Latvinia would reason with them; therefore, this group began to protest loudly as soon as they left the hall. However, with a few gunshots, everything fell silent; no one dared to speak while Salomon was speaking.

Elected government officials are often idiots, a fact that was evident in Athens more than two thousand years ago.

"Latvinia will also fight against any country or organization that attempts to undermine cooperation. Given the current war between NATO and Latvinia, the US Navy will no longer be able to cross the Atlantic. Otherwise, the military industrial facilities of the US mainland and all NATO allies in Europe will be subjected to Latvinia's interplanetary missile strikes. Any nation or organization that wages war because of religious beliefs or personal desires will become an enemy of Latvinia, because everything Latvinia does is to ensure the survival of the human race, nothing more. I do not wish to kill, but I must use the blood of those who die to urge the rest to live. All your foolish actions are forcing me to destroy you, to liberate population, thought, and productivity from your hands."

Everyone could see the sorrow in his eyes, but only Natasha Romanov knew that he was telling the truth.

"In the future world, differences in skin color, language, and culture will be meaningless. The shadow of war has already fallen upon the earth, and the only goal will be the survival of the human race. This is the bloody reality and future; everyone must fight for survival. Those greedy people who refuse to relinquish their wealth will be crushed under the iron heel and missiles of Latvia, and will perish under the swords of alien invaders; those fools who refuse to relinquish their ignorance and try to immerse themselves in religious faith, you may embrace your hypocritical gods and beg for forgiveness from them. I do not care about your religions and cultures." "Even if you perish, the alien fleet invaders won't care. You can pray to false idols and then face death in the apocalypse. Amid the unfortunate man's wails, he issued his final ultimatum.

"Currently, only Latvinia possesses the capability for space warfare, and only Latvinia has the technology to counter alien fleets and ensure humanity's independence. The root of all the problems I see lies with you. Either join me, abandon your ignorant past, embrace science and reason, and dedicate everything to the survival of the human race—I will unite all those who fight for humanity to ensure the survival of the majority—or face utter destruction in an alien invasion or Latvinia's purge. In the future, there will be no unchecked capital; personal ambition must be restrained, or death will be the only outcome. This is an invitation that cannot be refused. The human race needs to unite, completely eradicate religious beliefs, break free from ignorance, develop science, and march towards the galaxy. All greedy and ignorant people will perish; only those who embrace science and reason will survive. Communication is now open; I will give you seven days to consider."

Salomon, his face grim, stepped down from the podium. Behind him, the Royal Guard escorted the royal guard carrying the king's body, along with Prince T'Challa and the monarchs of the Immortal City, striding towards the council chamber doors. They trudged across the shattered granite and boarded the super-heavy shuttle parked on the still-burning plaza. The fortress-like combat robots, acting as a containment measure, had destroyed armored vehicles attempting to break out, news helicopters trying to gather intelligence, and even "negotiation experts" who appeared out of nowhere while Salomon was speaking. Having completed their mission, they returned to their cabins according to procedure, leaving behind a trail of burning wreckage.

After he left, everyone in the venue breathed a sigh of relief, but the Immortal City did not give them time to rest.

Commander Tita of the Sisterhood, leading her guards and assault teams, stood at the door. She opened the conference room door, kicked aside the mangled corpses of the fools and the surrendered security personnel, and used her explosive pistol and chainsaw sword to force some of the key attendees out. They boarded the assault transport ships, which were docked on the roof like birds returning to their nests, one for each participating country. Verbal explanations were meaningless; these political figures would only think Salomon was exaggerating. Therefore, the Immortal City would take these dignitaries to the space station to demonstrate its strength in the most direct way. This was a rehearsal of the security procedures; the Sisterhood and the Royal Guard were to eliminate all armed forces around the monarch, and this operation proved to be flawless. Natasha Romanov gave Salomon's retreating figure a meaningful look, and then was politely invited by Commander Tita to board another small transport ship. Salomon didn't hide anything from Natasha Romanov, but the matter was too important for him to let her reveal a single word.

This is a seven-day space journey, which they have to accept whether they like it or not.

The Immortal City invites world leaders to witness firsthand how it will destroy America's communication systems, reverting the entire nation to pre-World War II communication methods. This is the most direct form of deterrence, demonstrating to the world that their military technology is insignificant. They will also travel by shuttle to the Martian foundry to visit the interstellar warships undergoing repair and modification, experiencing firsthand the power of Salomon's words. The Immortal City will allow them to communicate with their national agencies and record sufficient footage as evidence. The journalists who previously reported on Latvian events are still on the space station—this is a globally significant event. Latvian will also broadcast the lives of those political figures on the space station and at the Martian foundry to the world. The producers hired by Stephanie Malik have been waiting on the space station for a long time; this is expected to become the hottest television program on Earth. However, this opportunity is limited to one time. If any nation declares war on Latvian after this trip, then Salomon will lead his army to destroy and assimilate it with an iron fist.

As he said at the meeting, Latvia would be wiped clean by war, forcing them to wholeheartedly accept the "United Truth," a declaration dedicated to the survival of the human race. He had anticipated the reaction of certain nations, which would mean the beginning of mass slaughter—something Salomon did not want to do, but had no choice but to do.
