Chapter 1439 The Rise of the Malik Family (First Update)

"I hope your monarch won't have a bad impression of me because of the previous grain trade," Gideon Malik said. "I thought He would reduce His dependence on grain after conquering Romania, but that's probably unlikely now. How big is His appetite?"

“If there’s enough food, He will open the borders and take in the refugees,” Stephanie shrugged. “He’s an atheist, so not many refugees will want to stay there. But I heard that the refugee children can stay; He plans to raise them, and without enough food reserves, He can’t handle that kind of pressure.”

"Perhaps we could make some deals?"

However, Gideon Malik remained cautious and did not immediately have a plan drawn up. "Gold bonds and food, everyone knows how to choose, and I can expect a large influx of hot money.
