Chapter 342 Limited Swimsuit Chapter

Chapter 342 Limited Swimsuit Episode (First Update)

With a soft "poof," Phoenix vanished into a burst of flames. Salomon took out his phone and dialed a number. The phone rang a few times before being answered. After a flustered young woman's voice, Agent Coulson's calm voice came through the receiver.

He was very pleased that Salomon had taken the initiative to call him. Influenced by Nick Fury, Coulson was a staunch S.H.I.E.L.D. supporter, meaning he believed that everything should be resolved through official means.

This "official" refers to S.H.I.E.L.D., a position Nick Fury is unwilling to acknowledge, or rather, doesn't want to acknowledge, Kamar-Taj's dominance. Agent Coulson feels the same way; he thinks a bit more deeply—he believes that since the arcane sorcerers allow humanity to develop freely, they can't protect humans like infants. The arcane sorcerers should allow ordinary people, or rather, S.H.I.E.L.D., to have more contact with mystical matters, so that Kamar-Taj's long-held wish can be fulfilled.

Of course, there was some truth to what he was saying, but Salomon didn't listen to a word he said.

"I thought you were dead, Mr. Damonette. I found your obituary on the internet; we receive news about you as soon as it's available. But your registration hasn't been changed to deceased, so we think it's fake news," Coulson said with a laugh. "Skye tried to contact you as I instructed, but you were unreachable. Just now, she thought it was a ghost calling!"

"I'll deal with this prank later. Now we need to talk about something more important," Salomon sighed. He still didn't know who had published his obituary. It was a terrible prank, and he was ready to punch that person in the head. But that wasn't the point; he wasn't so careless as to blur the lines between public and private matters.

The sorcerer held the phone up to Thor. "Hello, son of Phil Cole," Thor said in a deep voice. He leaned close and spoke loudly, as if afraid the little device wouldn't let Agent Coleson hear him. "This time we need S.H.I.E.L.D.'s help, friend."

"I know you've arrived on Earth, and S.H.I.E.L.D. is happy to assist you. You might not have turned on the TV, but reporters are already near Jane Foster's apartment, and your photos are trending on social media." Coulson's tone suddenly became cautious. "I saw you brought Asgardian soldiers. Thor, has Loki launched another invasion?"

“I’m truly saddened, dear Agent Coulson,” Loki interrupted. He pressed his face close to the phone, squeezing in next to Thor. He spoke in a deliberately sinister tone. “You should know I’m a sorcerer, right? You know about mind-control magic, like what I did before… Heh, Agent Coulson,” Loki glanced around at the people seated at the narrow table, making no mention of his own predicament, “shouldn’t you express your concerns?”

Agent Coulson glanced at the others gathered around the information processing projection table on the Airbus, raising an eyebrow, though Loki couldn't see it. "There's more than just you there," his dismissive tone irritated Loki, "and that scepter is now in S.H.I.E.L.D.'s custody. I think we should get down to business. Thor, Salomon, I've contacted the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents in London to maintain order, and I think it's time to let me know the trouble we're in."

"Alright, son of Cole. This is a long story, I'll tell you slowly... As for more details, I think Eric can answer your questions."

Salomon didn't participate in the conversation; he left for the time being. Over the past few days, he found himself unable to stop thinking about the witch. Although he habitually attributed this feeling to hormones, it didn't stop him from returning to his apartment to kiss Bayonetta and, incidentally, to report to Kamar-Taj—he was the one who had facilitated the Asgardian warriors' support, and as the person in charge, he had to report. Besides, the feeling of the Eye of Agamotto around his neck was very uncomfortable; it was Kamar-Taj's most important artifact.

If he had any sense of responsibility, he wouldn't have been wandering around with that thing after completing his mission.

"What are you doing here, baby?" Little Lorna stroked Phoenix's back, the golden-red fur feeling warm and soft. Her movements were gentle, and Phoenix squinted and hummed a few times. It had just arrived at Athena's residence when Little Lorna, who was studying natural science, caught it.

It didn't want to be petted by those silly, hopping owls, but because of Salomon and Little Lorna, it raised its noble head and "reluctantly" endured it.

Yes, this is for its master, it thought.

"What did Salomon send you here for? Does he need to see Minerva? But Minerva isn't here... She, she went to cook." The street bully Lorna's tone was sweet and obedient. Her trick always worked, except for Athena, who wasn't fooled. She proudly raised her eyebrows at the silly owls perched on their perches—she had tried to pet one earlier and gotten pecked.

"It's probably Mediterranean cuisine again, olives everywhere. Isn't it? Or did he send me a message?"

"No, Miss Lorna," Phoenix said softly. "My master sent me to retrieve something—his shield. I've already wasted too much time, my dear young lady; I must hurry."

----------

"My God!" If someone saw Salomon's current appearance and drew it, the picture would be comparable to the masterpiece "The Scream." He had just opened the portal and entered the apartment when he tripped over a bottle of liquor, and his disheveled appearance was seen by others, who then mocked him mercilessly.

"Phew... I never thought a mage would fall down!"

"What are you doing here?" Salomon stared wide-eyed at the woman in the black swimsuit before him, utterly incredulous. "Samun Shaw! Why are you here? Why are you wearing a swimsuit? And why are you carrying my collection?"

"Swimsuit party, little boy." Samun Shaw downed his glass of whiskey on the rocks in one gulp. Salomon had bought the bottle to collect and decorate his bookshelf; how it ended up being opened was another matter entirely.

"What's going on?"

"Your girlfriend invited me," Samun Shaw said nonchalantly, tugging at her swimsuit strap. She seemed more talkative after a few drinks. "It's too early to go to the beach, so she's throwing a party here. Good heavens, I don't know what she's been eating, I've never seen a woman with legs that long. Burp... I've had a bit too much to drink, but I want more... And you even have an artificial sun here! Magic is amazing..."

"Where is Mr. Finch? And what's going on with the sun?"

"That's just my job. I'm off today. I don't need to clock in every day; that's Reese's problem." She hiccuped again. "You'll see for yourself. Just a heads-up, make sure your eyeballs don't fall out!"

Samun Shaw's words had no effect; if Salomon were a comedic character, his eyes would definitely pop out.

There was indeed a sun hanging in the living room; upon closer inspection, it turned out to be the halo above Jubilee's head.

Several beach chairs were set up in the living room, where Bayonetta and Jeanne were lounging, wearing sunglasses. Their skin shimmered, and the scent of sunscreen and alcohol filled the air. Their simple black and white strappy bikinis barely covered their skin, revealing their stunning figures and fair complexions. Their long legs, in particular, appeared even longer under the high, slender straps.

Salomon knew the witches' taste in choosing intimate apparel, but this time, they once again shocked him with their concept of "saving on fabric"—the ties were tied high above their hips, their flat stomachs were completely exposed to the light, and the bikini top barely covered their chests; with the slightest movement, their alluring pink would be revealed to the air. When Bayonetta crossed her legs, the aura of desire intensified.

This is not a swimsuit at all!

Even the alchemical doll is standing to the side wearing a swimsuit!

"Boya, I knew you'd be back." Bayonetta lazily raised her head, slowly untying the straps of her swimsuit. She let out a barely audible sigh, a sound that stirred in Salomon's ears. "You should help me apply sunscreen now; I don't mind putting it on again. This is to prepare you for your belated coming-of-age ceremony, you know~"
