Chapter 361 The Father of the Gods' Contingency Plan

Chapter 361 The Father of the Gods' Contingency Plan (Second Update)

This was an arduous and protracted battle; it was his first time stepping onto such a harsh and unforgiving battlefield. His enemies were the physiological reactions caused by the friction of black stockings against his body, the deep-seated pleasure and the slight pain from high heels, the positive feedback etched into the genes of primates since ancient times, accompanying the pace of evolution.

Salomon deeply understands the difficult choices faced in the evolutionary process of mammals. The speed of reproduction represents the speed of occupying limited living space. In order to maintain their evolutionary advantage, humans have had to extend the time for nurturing life. Everything in the world is based on equivalent exchange, and this difficult choice has placed humans at the top of the Earth's food chain.

Each of his sighs was a sword strike against the enemy in this battle, and each powerful heartbeat proclaimed his unyielding spirit. The witch's cries also heralded the start of the counterattack, but the spellcaster's incantation, the extreme pleasure that overwhelmed the witch's mind, announced her defeat under Salomon's magic.

The Cheshire Cat licked its paw dismissively. It's just making a kitten, why are humans so happy? Its kittens rule the entire building, every female cat here belongs to it, yet it has never boasted about it.

After this was discovered, its testicles disappeared. Thinking of this, the Cheshire Cat let out a mournful howl.

The android dressed as a maid tilted her head in confusion, completely bewildered by what her master was doing. Was this some kind of sacred human ritual? Had her master endowed her with the function of performing such a ritual when she was created?

The sorcerer and the witch lay exhausted in the bathtub. The witch sat on Salomon, the warm water reaching her waist, causing her to let out a satisfied sigh. The battle had been extremely long, and Salomon had used many spells to achieve this perfect victory. "You're a man now, Boya," the witch said with a light laugh. "Don't you dare steal any more food, like from female spies or archaeologists..."

"I swear this never happened," Salomon swore. Then, the witch's kiss landed, and her slender hands began to move restlessly again. The sorcerer felt as if he had once again entered an unparalleled paradise. It was the great Eden, a paradise on earth, a place of complete peace. It was the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the ultimate beauty, where all things beautiful resided. He yearned for the witch, just as she yearned for him.

"We should get a bigger bathtub," she said. "At least big enough for two people to lie down in."

"Of course, I'll go buy it tomorrow!" Salomon said seriously. "I'll go learn how to decorate tomorrow."

------------

"You did very well." Athena placed the baked lasagna in front of Salomon with satisfaction, the steaming cheese emitting an enticing aroma. But Salomon showed no appetite; pale-faced, he barely managed to pick up his knife and fork with the help of little Lorna's disapproving gaze. Given his constitution, this was unlikely, but his opponent was the Witch Umberah, the most terrifying woman in the world, so his lower back pain and weak legs were already quite mild.

"This is an inevitable path for men," Athena said, pinching Salomon's arm muscles. "There's no need to be shy. Look at those ancient Greek sculptures; your muscles are no less impressive. The muscles I've had you develop over the years are extremely attractive to women, and this will happen again. Little Lorna, don't you think?"

"Salomon doesn't wear sunglasses, hoodies, or basketball uniforms, so how could any woman be interested in him?"

"The art classes I'm having you take are to prevent your aesthetic sense from being assimilated by street culture. Look at you now, those baggy clothes, sunglasses, and gold chain... you kid..."

Salomon picked up his cup blankly and took a sip of hot tea. He hadn't heard a thing. Instead, the pleasurable memories the witch had given him lingered, and he wanted them again. It wasn't until the clinking of car keys in front of him that he snapped out of his reverie. Athena immediately noticed his odd behavior.

"Perhaps I shouldn't have let you come here so soon," she said with a smile. "There's an exhibition today; perhaps I could invite Joan of Arc to visit with me?"

"Ah, no need." Salomon snapped back to reality. When Jeanne returned home, she keenly noticed the unusual smells and traces in the house. The cleaning of the homunculi wasn't quite finished, and Salomon hadn't gotten out of bed in the bedroom yet. After a chaotic domestic comedy, Jeanne reluctantly tolerated Salomon sleeping in Bayonetta's bed, at the cost of sleeping in the middle—the bed was large enough to comfortably accommodate three people, as long as the bullet holes in the sheets were repaired.

He can do this job.

"I don't think Joan of Arc will be so easily fooled." He stuffed a piece of lasagna into his mouth, chewed it casually, and said, "Now she goes wherever Bayonetta goes, never leaving her side, just like a kitten."

"You've done very well." The Sorcerer Supreme watched Salomon drink the carefully prepared herbal soup. With each sip, his complexion became rosier, and his muscle aches gradually subsided. "You should have done this sooner," the Sorcerer Supreme said with satisfaction. "In the past, you would have two snotty-nosed brats following you around. You have a sword, a lance, armor, and a horse. Even if you lost other things, with your ability to lead heavy cavalry, you wouldn't lack women."

The Sorcerer Supreme delivered a lengthy discourse on the lifestyle of the nobility of the past, stating things like, "You could at least sleep with a countess and escape if her husband bursts in," and "You could at least climb through the windows of three unmarried noblewomen without being discovered by their maids." This filled Salomon with apprehension about the aristocratic life before the Middle Ages. The Sorcerer Supreme also believed that even in the past, Salomon could have easily become a member of the Knights of the Round Table, and perhaps Morgan le Fay would have personally recruited him.

"You'll be going to see the Allfather in a little while." The Sorcerer Supreme abruptly shifted the conversation, mentioning Odin, who had recently been thrown to Earth. After Salomon expressed concern about the Allfather's mental state, the Sorcerer Supreme immediately offered his dismissive remarks. "The Allfather doesn't blame Kamar-Taj; after all, it's Loki's fault. He also doesn't intend to contact Thor. With Loki's abilities and Heimdall's oversight, Loki won't do anything to overthrow Asgard. He only wants the throne; according to intelligence, Loki is currently indulging in pleasure."

"What about Gungnir? I remember the Allfathers didn't bring that gun with him when they came to Earth."

"You think it's possible? Wherever Odin is, Gungnir is there too."

"So, in reality, the real power in Asgard is still in the hands of the Allfather?" Salomon finished the last of his herbal soup, then quickly popped a gummy into his mouth to get rid of the bitter taste. He said, "The Allfather still treats Loki like a monkey, is that right?"

"You're not wrong," the Venerable One nodded. "Don't think a god-king would be so foolish as to leave no backup plan. Even I can't guess what Odin is planning to do next. Every order Loki issues will be delivered to him here. You'll see when you get to Finland. Right now, the Allfather is still busy with official business."

"Poor Loki." Salomon stuffed another gummy into his mouth before shakily standing up.

Although I took a break, I still have to post the second chapter today.

Such a generous gesture, why don't you hurry up and cast your vote?
