Mobilizing strategic resources takes time, especially heavy armored vehicles such as self-propelled siege artillery, armored personnel carriers, and tanks, which require air vehicles with strong transport capabilities. A production line originally intended for war machines was set aside for the construction of a light transport ship. By the time Salomon gave the order, the ship had only just completed its overhaul and testing. This transport ship could carry six Gusterf-class self-propelled anti-gravity siege guns or void missile vehicles, or twenty Fimbul-class armored personnel carriers, each fully loaded with twenty soldiers, ammunition, and fuel, possessing formidable firepower—far exceeding the carrying capacity of a sky carrier. However, the transport ship possessed only limited firepower and its transport speed was not particularly fast, making it completely unsuitable for deployment as a combat unit. But this was sufficient; even if it landed directly on the ground, this giant ship would be more than capable of serving as a battlefield fortress, more than enough to handle such a battle.

Daniel Drum, affectionately known as "Old Man," arrived via the teleportation portal in the Immortal City's Ministry of the Interior building—Daniel Drum possessed an unusually long lifespan, being the oldest of all the Temple Guardians to date; even the mage Hamil didn't know Daniel Drum's exact age. Many thought the old man was too old and his mind wasn't quite right, and Salomon shared this opinion.

"Two people sharing one soul is an extremely rare case," Salomon said. "It's a hereditary condition; didn't His Holiness tell you that?"

"The Venerable One has already spoken, but I still want to find a solution." The old man narrowed his eyes. "I'd like to hear your conclusion."

“All Drum twins are identical twins, but unlike typical identical twins, the splitting process doesn’t occur in the early stages of fertilized egg development, but rather during the differentiation of embryonic stem cells. Frankly, it’s a miracle they didn’t become conjoined twins; sharing the same soul is perfectly normal,” Salomon said. “If you want to know more, I have a report here that points out how a genetic defect in the Drum family led to this situation. This is the true nature of the curse: inherited genetic defects.”

"Is there anything we can do?"

"No, this flaw is the source of the Dram family's arcane talent. Due to the similarity between their physical bodies, two spiritual powers, passed down through generations and gradually increasing in strength, are concentrated in one soul.
