Chapter 43 Is this how you apologize?!
Chapter 43 Is this how you apologize?!
"—I already said, Mina isn't my girlfriend, we're not dating."
Jiang Yongtai looked at Jiang Huiyuan with a blank expression.
Did the child even listen to him just now?
Jiang Huiyuan hummed twice, a glint of light flashing in his eyes. He raised his hand to adjust the glasses that weren't actually on his nose, and slightly raised his chin.
In that instant, she felt as if she were possessed by a seven-year-old first-grade elementary school student.
"Oppa, eyes don't lie! Look at Mina unnie's eyes, and the way she looks at you, tsk tsk~"
She paused, then continued, "And Mina unnie is such a cool and aloof person, would she really come all the way to take care of you just because you're friends? And even let you touch her feet like that?!"
In the end, she couldn't continue speaking, and the corners of her mouth turned down.
Jiang Yongtai was speechless, and for a moment he didn't know what to say.
He couldn't just reveal the truth, or his lofty image in her heart would be completely destroyed.
He sighed and decided not to dwell on the topic.
"Let's put that aside for now, what are you doing here?"
Seeing that he had nothing to say, Jiang Huiyuan smiled smugly, but then she remembered her business.
"It's because Sungwoo oppa said you were sick and asked me to come and check on you."
She glanced at him up and down, her tone clearly showing displeasure.
"I thought Oppa would be lying in bed feeling uncomfortable, but instead, he's comfortably at home, chatting and making love with women~"
After hearing this, Jiang Yongtai sank into the sofa, as if all his strength to argue had been drained away, and raised his hand to hold his forehead.
"That Kim Sung-woo kid is such a chatterbox. Looks like he's got too much free time. — Alright, you've seen it all. I'm fine now, go back."
Jiang Huiyuan ignored what he said, got up and sat down next to him, frowned and reached out to touch his forehead, then touched her own, comparing the two.
He chuckled after confirming that it was no longer hot.
"I'm not going back. I'll stay here and take care of Oppa tonight~"
After saying that, she grabbed his arm.
Jiang Yongtai pulled his hand away, moved a little distance to the side, and glared at her.
"Are you crazy? I just don't have a fever anymore, I'm not completely cured. What if I infect you? Go back now, I don't need you to take care of me."
Jiang Huiyuan's lips twitched down, her aggrieved expression rising, and her voice trembled with tears.
"Oppa—are you still angry with me—?"
Jiang Yongtai was taken aback. "Why am I angry?"
"It was last night—"
My oppa was perfectly fine yesterday, but he's sick today. He must have slept on the sofa all night and gotten sick. And the culprit is none other than myself!
It would have been better if she hadn't mentioned it, because once she did, the unexpected incident with Kwon Eun-bi last night resurfaced from a corner that had almost been forgotten.
Jiang Yongtai gritted his teeth and glared at her.
"You know that too! I'm already being lenient by not holding you accountable, Jiang Huiyuan!"
Jiang Huiyuan pouted when she heard him call her by her full name again.
"Don't call me by my full name, it shows no affection at all!"
Jiang Yongtai sighed. Was that what he meant? He really had no way to deal with her.
Seeing his expression, Jiang Huiyuan laughed again; she knew he would fall for that.
"Oppa, it's okay, Eunbi unnie isn't blaming you~ And—"
She leaned closer, winked, and said playfully, "You always said you have a great figure~"
If Kwon Eun-bi were here, she would have ripped her mouth apart.
When did I ever say such a thing?! I... I just thought of it, but didn't say it out loud!
Jiang Huiyuan hadn't forgotten her mission. Even though she had just witnessed Jiang Yongtai and Mingjing Nan's ambiguous relationship, her stance remained unchanged.
It's so weird to get involved with your ex-girlfriend's best friend!
Although Mina is a nice person, she swore that her sister-in-law, a Japanese, was no good!
Jiang Yongtai looked at her with a complicated expression.
He didn't believe that Kwon Eun-bi really said that. Kwon Eun-bi seemed like a normal person, much more normal than Kang Hye-won.
Even if they have a very good relationship, they wouldn't comment on each other's bodies so casually.
These words from Jiang Huiyuan meant only one thing: she hadn't given up and was still trying her best to bring him and Quan Enfei together.
He raised his hand and flicked her forehead.
"Don't spread rumors about me. I'll handle my own feelings. You don't need to worry about it."
Jiang Huiyuan winced and clutched her forehead, pouting as she glared at him.
Why did Eunbi unnie react the same way this morning when she heard her say she would help her pursue Kang Young-tae? The two of them even played the same notes!
Thinking about it this way, she cheered up again and regained confidence in her pairing. At least the two of them had some chemistry!
Looking at Jiang Huiyuan's face, which was both "crying and laughing," Jiang Yongtai wondered which dimension she had drifted off to.
He didn't disturb them, stood up and walked towards the dining table, turning back to remind them, "You've seen it all, you can go back now."
I was so busy explaining to her that I haven't tidied up the things on the table yet.
Jiang Huiyuan snapped out of her daze and realized the person in front of her was gone. She quickly got up and chased after him, reaching out from behind to push him towards the bedroom without saying a word.
"I'll take care of it! Oppa, go back to your room to shower and rest. I'll come back after I've finished packing!"
Jiang Yongtai turned his head to look at her, not quite believing what she was saying.
"Are you really going back?"
"Mmm-hmm!" Jiang Huiyuan nodded vigorously.
"—Fine, stop pushing me, I'll walk by myself."
Jiang Yongtai turned around, raised his hand and placed it on the top of her head, smiling as he ruffled it.
"At least you still have some conscience; our Huiyuan has grown up."
Jiang Huiyuan rolled her eyes, slapped his hand off his head, and pouted.
"I'm not a child anymore! Why is Oppa always like this—"
She puffed out her chest, displaying her more prominent feminine features than Mina.
Jiang Yongtai paused for a moment, then burst into laughter.
"Okay, you're definitely a woman now, so I can't treat you like that annoying little devil who keeps following me around wanting hugs anymore~"
"ah!"
Jiang Huiyuan raised her fist in embarrassment and anger, her face full of protest.
That was so long ago, why does Oppa keep bringing it up!
Jiang Yongtai smiled and shook his head, then turned and walked towards the bedroom.
"Then I'll leave this place to you. I really need to rest for a bit; I have work to do tomorrow."
Jiang Huiyuan made a face at his back before turning back to prepare to clear the table.
His gaze fell and stopped.
Underneath the seat where Jiang Yongtai had just been sitting, lay a white sock lying quietly, which Mina hadn't had time to put on.
Jiang Huiyuan's eyes darted around, and she bent down to pick it up.
"Oppa~"
She held the sock in her hand, deliberately drawing out her words.
"What should I do with this? Should I throw it away?"
Jiang Yongtai turned around and saw the sock dangling between her fingers; his pupils contracted.
"Don't touch this!"
Jiang Huiyuan raised an eyebrow and handed it to him, her expression full of mischief.
"Oppa, you're not going to keep it, are you? Mina unnie didn't even wear it, so you probably don't want it anymore~"
Jiang Yongtai walked back quickly, looking somewhat embarrassed.
"—She probably forgot. I'll return it to her next time we meet. You shouldn't just throw other people's things away."
He snatched the socks from her hand and, before she could react, quickly turned and walked back to the bedroom.
Jiang Huiyuan watched his figure disappear behind the bedroom door, and a slow smile crept onto her lips.
Ha~ Is this how Oppa defines "friends"? Are you kidding me?
Jiang Yongtai returned to his bedroom, his face inexplicably flushed, and glanced down at the socks in his hand.
An ordinary cotton sock with a lace trim lay forlornly in his palm.
I don't know what got into me, but I snatched it right in front of Jiang Huiyuan, so fast that I didn't even have time to react.
Actually, no matter how you look at it, it should be thrown away—what's the point of keeping it?
He glanced down again, but immediately looked away as soon as his eyes met hers, as if her body heat still lingered there.
—Well, it's not that he wanted to stay, it's so that if Nan-chan asks about it next time, he'll have to have an explanation.—Yes, that's it!
Jiang Yongtai found a respectable reason for his behavior, opened the closet door, stuffed the socks into the corner, and then walked into the bathroom without looking back.
I squeezed out too much toothpaste, and the foam came out and it stung my tongue a little.
He brushed his teeth and looked up at himself in the mirror.
The face in the mirror looked tired from illness, with a faint bluish tinge under the eyes.
As he watched, the focus of his pupils slowly shifted, involuntarily drifting back to the "confrontation" he had with Mina at the dining table.
She stepped on his foot, and he took off her sock, then gently scraped between her toes with his fingers.
As a result, she almost jumped off the chair, her eyes reddening, and she cried out "Oppa" in a soft, clingy voice, like a penguin that had been bullied and had nowhere to hide.
Huiyuan—she might be right, they've crossed a line lately—
But he only regarded Nan-chan as a very good friend, someone he could be with without thinking too much and without any pressure.
Is this going too far?
He asked himself this question while looking in the mirror.
Suddenly, the mirror flickered, and the face from the evening appeared.
Mina stood behind him, looking at him through the mirror. Just like before, the corners of her mouth were slightly curved, and her lips moved as she mouthed, "Nagatae-san, didn't you say you liked me?"
Jiang Yongtai froze on the spot, his toothbrush still in his mouth.
He shook his head violently, then looked up and saw only himself in the mirror, looking completely dazed.
He stared blankly for two seconds, gave a wry smile, bent down to spit out the foam, and turned on the tap to rinse his face.
It seems the fever hasn't completely subsided; he's even hallucinating.
Mina pushed open the door, kicked off her slippers, and spoke with a gentle, listless tone.
"I'm back----"
Several voices responded from the living room, "Mina went out? That's amazing!"
She put on a smile, bent down to change her shoes, and then her gaze fell on her bare foot, pausing for a moment.
That pervert!
She pouted, buried her face in the collar of her hoodie, quickly slipped on her slippers, and headed to her room.
Son Chae-young raised her head from the sofa, her mouth half-open.
"Mina unnie, come over here—"
Before she could finish speaking, Mina's expression stopped her in her tracks.
Mina unnie seems to be in a bad mood today?
She hesitated for half a second, deciding not to provoke this bad luck. Her gaze followed Mina's back as she pushed open the bedroom door without turning her head and then closed it again.
Mina originally thought the room was empty.
As it turned out, Sana Minatozaki was lying on her bed, with a face mask on and looking down at her phone.
Hearing the door open, those eyes moved out from the hole in the face mask and landed on her, filled with resentment.
"Mina~ Why are you only just getting back! Haven't you checked your messages? I sent you so many!"
"Uh—is there?"
'
She hadn't touched her phone since waking up, and when she finally took it out, it was full of unread messages from Sana Minatozaki.
"How is he?" "Has his fever gone down?" "When is he coming back?" "Why isn't he back yet?" ————
He piled up seven or eight strips, one after another, and his tone became more and more urgent as he went down.
Before she could even speak, Sana Minatozaki had already prepared a reason for her.
"Has his condition worsened? Are you too busy to reply?"
Sana Minatozaki's voice softened, becoming apologetic.
"Thank you for your hard work, Mina. I know you hate trouble the most —"
Mina looked at the steps she had laid out for her and stepped down them.
"Yeah, it was a bit of a hassle, but everything's fine now, that's why I'm back."
She breathed a sigh of relief, took off her hoodie and threw it aside, then sprawled onto the bed, kicking her slippers off her feet and letting them fall to the floor with two thuds.
Sana Minatozaki's eyes followed her, then fixed on her feet; one foot was wearing a sock, the other was bare.
She couldn't help but burst out laughing.
"Mina, you still have one sock left? There's no need to be in such a rush when you leave!"
Minami's toes curled up.
"No, that's not true."
She buried her face in the blanket, lying with some embarrassment.
"It was rubbed off when I took off my shoes after coming back. I was too tired to pick it up."
Sana Minatozaki nodded, clearly not concerned about that. She pressed the sheet mask down, leaned closer, and lowered her voice.
"Did he, like I suspected, not go to the hospital at all?"
"----Um."
Mina turned over, quietly tucking her bare foot under the covers, and looked up at her.
"No, he didn't go. You really know him well."
Sana Minato snorted smugly, her little expression barely concealed beneath the face mask.
After being smug for about two seconds, she suddenly realized something, quickly composed herself, and started speaking faster.
"No, no! I just don't want the show I finally got to go wrong. What kind of talk is it if the PD is sick all the time!"
With a new PD, who knows what kind of person they'll get—
Minami smiled.
"Isn't that a good thing? You don't want to see him again anyway."
Sana Minatozaki gave an awkward grin.
"You can't say that, we've made up—"
She paused, her voice suddenly softening, as if she herself wasn't quite sure.
"—I think so."
Mina looked at her, a strange feeling flashing through her mind, but she didn't show it on her face. She just raised her voice slightly and deliberately put on a teasing tone.
"I thought Sana wanted to get back together, she's so invested in it~"
Without even thinking, Sana Minatozaki put on an extremely disgusted expression.
"How could that be! Didn't I tell you last time? You're not allowed to say things like that again~"
She reached out and pinched Mina's face, pulling it to both sides.
Mina rolled her eyes reproachfully and slapped away her mischievous hand.
"I'm not Dahyun, stop pinching me like that, okay? I won't say anything more."
The inexplicable feeling in her heart dissipated as Sana Minatozaki spoke.
"Okay, I want to rest now."
She turned over, pulled the blanket up, and subtly signaled to her that "you can leave now."
Sana Minatozaki didn't move an inch. Instead, she pressed herself against her, clasped her hands together in front of her chin, blinked rapidly, and spoke in a voice as sweet as half-melted candy.
"No way~ I'll sleep with you tonight, just a minute, I'm going to take off my face mask!"
Without giving Mina any room to refuse, Minatozaki Sana rolled off the bed, put on her slippers, and trotted out the door.
Mina looked at the closed door, lay down for a while, and sighed.
Forget it, I won't call him to settle the score tonight.
She took out her phone, opened Jiang Yongtai's Kakao account, and tapped her fingers on the screen a few times.
"Yongtai-san, cancel the call, someone's here."
"it is good."
Mina stared at the word on the screen, her brows furrowing little by little.
it is good?
Did he think I messaged him to chat? That "call" meant to confront me, didn't he understand?!
She pursed her lips, then typed another line on the screen and sent it.
"Doesn't Yongtai-san have anything to say to me?"
Jiang Yongtai lay on the bed, staring at the message in silence for a few seconds.
Nan-chan, what does this mean? Is it an apology? Or something else?
His finger hovered over the screen for a long time before finally deciding—
Pretend to be straight!
"Yes, thank you for today, Nan-chan."
Thanks?
Minami's lips curled into a cold smile.
Did I come here to ask for your thanks? Where's the apology?! Now you're putting on an act with her!
She typed angrily, her fingers slamming on the screen.
That's not what I want to hear.
"What is that?"
Okay, so you're going to keep pretending, huh?
Minami, enraged, laughed and tightened her grip on her fingers.
"Apologize!"
Jiang Yongtai breathed a sigh of relief as he looked at those two words.
It's an apology—that's good.
"I'm sorry, Nan-chan, I shouldn't have played with your feet."
Playing with my feet?!
Mina's face began to flush again, and her bare foot unconsciously curled up under the covers.
She couldn't hold back any longer. She looked up at the closed door, put the phone to her mouth, and spoke in a low, urgent voice.
"Baka! Is this how you apologize? Ugh!"
Jiang Yongtai was taken aback when he saw the voice message that suddenly popped up.
He opened it, listened to it, smiled, and pressed the voice button.
"Isn't that sincere enough? Cough cough."
He cleared his still slightly hoarse throat, suppressed his smile, and became more serious.
"I'm sorry, Nan-chan, it was my fault. I won't do it again. I'll wash the socks you left behind and return them to you when we meet."
Wash it clean? He doesn't throw it away, but instead wants to wash it and return it to himself?!
Mina turned around, rolled the blanket around herself, and this time she curled up not her feet, but her whole body.
She felt helpless at the man's shamelessness, and at the same time, she was burning with shame.
And what did he say? "Next time"? He wants a next time?!
Next time, will it not just be my feet? My back too? And...?
Her thoughts wandered uncontrollably, and she could almost still feel the warmth of his hand—
Suddenly, a hand reached under the covers, circled her waist, and rested on her lower abdomen; it was very cold.
Mina shuddered and turned around abruptly in surprise.
Sana Minatozaki was smiling and leaning close behind her, her chin resting on her shoulder.
"Wow~ Mina's waist is amazing, and she even has abs, it feels so good~"
She had just removed her face mask and deliberately rinsed her hands with cold water, waiting for this moment.
"Sana, let go of me! Why aren't you making a sound!"
Mina glared at her, embarrassed and annoyed. She had just thought of going that way, and then a pair of hands actually touched her—this would scare the penguin to death!
Sana Minatozaki, seeing her face completely flushed, chuckled without paying any attention.
"I clearly made a sound! The bed sank so much you didn't even notice. You were just too engrossed in your phone!"
She leaned her face against Mina's shoulder, her gaze drifting to her phone screen.
Mina flipped her fingers and pressed the screen against her chest, twisting her waist as she tried to shake off Sana Minato's hand.
"Don't do that—it itches!"
Seeing this, Sana Minato stopped teasing her, withdrew her hand, and sighed contentedly.
Mina looked at her "crazy woman" act with a black line on her forehead, and sat up in bed.
"I'm going to take a shower."
She got out of bed, took her pajamas from the closet, and walked out, clutching her phone tightly in her hand.
Her phone wasn't password protected. If Sana were to open it and see this—then everything would be over!
She closed the bathroom door, locked it, leaned against the door and breathed a sigh of relief, then looked up at herself in the mirror.
The pants had slipped down a bit because of Sana Minatozaki's tugging, revealing a glimpse of her firm waistline that could be grasped in one hand, with the outline of her abs faintly visible under the light.
She turned to the side, looked at the curve of her waist, her face flushed slightly, and nodded unconsciously.
Perfect, Yongtai-san should be able to easily win her over.
Now that things have come to this, Mina has no choice but to admit that she has feelings for him.
Otherwise, she wouldn't treat a man like that, wouldn't let him touch her feet, wouldn't fall asleep at his house, and wouldn't feed him water drop by drop with her finger when he was sick.
But—if she still wants Twice to continue—
She shook her head, and when she looked up again, the expression in the mirror had completely disappeared.
Jiang Yongtai glanced at his phone screen; there was no further reply from Mina.
He sighed, put his phone on the bedside table, and turned over.
He had just finished washing up and went to the kitchen to take another round of medicine. When he passed by the dining table, he noticed that Jiang Huiyuan had cleaned it very well.
He nodded in satisfaction, walked into the living room, and stopped.
Jiang Huiyuan nestled on the sofa, hugging a cushion, while anime played on the TV.
"—Didn't you say you'd go back once you were packed?"
Jiang Huiyuan's gaze shifted from the screen, and her smiling face instantly switched to a wronged expression.
"Oppa~ I just finished tidying you up, rest for a bit before you leave~ How can you be so heartless?"
Jiang Yongtai stared at her face for a few seconds and then sighed.
"Keep your voice down, I'm going to sleep."
Jiang Huiyuan immediately put on a smiling face, becoming unusually obedient.
"Goodnight, Oppa~"
Jiang Yongtai waved his hand and turned to go back to his bedroom.
The medication is now taking effect; my eyelids are getting heavier and heavier, and my consciousness is gradually fading.
The TV in the living room also went quieter, and after half an hour, it was completely silent.
The bedroom door was pushed open a crack.
Jiang Huiyuan stood at the doorway, using the dim light filtering in from the living room to confirm whether the person on the bed was truly asleep.
Seeing that Jiang Yongtai had fallen asleep, she breathed a sigh of relief, and the corners of her mouth slowly turned up.
Go back? She's not going back!
It's been so long since I slept with my oppa. Tonight is such a great opportunity, it would be such a waste to miss it!
She tiptoed into the bedroom, opened the closet door, took out the T-shirt she had worn yesterday, and then quietly slipped into the bathroom to change.
When she came out, the hem of her T-shirt barely covered her thighs.
She went around to the other side of the bed, lifted a corner of the blanket, and squeezed herself inside, naturally taking over the other pillow.
She turned to the side, using the sliver of light filtering through the curtains to look at Jiang Yongtai's profile.
It's good that he's not awake yet.
She reached out and hugged his arm, gently resting her face on his shoulder, and closed her eyes.
"Oppa, goodnight~"
Perhaps because he was still ill, Jiang Yongtai had dreams all night.
In his dream, he was floating on the sea. Just as the waves lifted him up, his ankle was entangled by something slippery.
He looked down and saw a blurry shadow underwater, with several thick tentacles closing in from all directions.
One of the cords wrapped around his waist and locked his chest, while the other cord tightened around his neck, looping halfway around and pulling him into the deep sea.
He struggled desperately to surface, but the tentacles tightened their grip until he was almost suffocating—
He suddenly opened his eyes.
Sunlight streamed through the curtains, falling on the floor and bed.
He felt a heavy weight on his neck. Looking down, he saw a wrist resting across his Adam's apple, and an arm pressing against his collarbone.
Another hand rested on his chest, its fingers slightly curled, pressed against his heart.
A leg came across from the side, pressing down on his thigh, with the knee against his lower abdomen, as if to prevent him from running away, locking him completely underneath.
No wonder I had that kind of dream —
Jiang Yongtai knew who it was immediately. He closed his eyes, and the veins on his forehead bulged.
He gritted his teeth, first removing the arm from his neck, then the hand from his chest, and finally lifting the leg that was pressing on his stomach and putting it down.
After doing all this, he turned over.
Jiang Huiyuan lay on her side next to him, her lips slightly upturned, fast asleep, with a satisfied expression on her face, as if she knew in her dream what good thing she had done.
Jiang Yongtai looked at her for two seconds, then reached out and pinched her nose.
Jiang Huiyuan's expression immediately changed. She frowned, let out two dissatisfied groans, and couldn't breathe because her nose was blocked.
She groggily reached out and patted the back of his hand, struggling a few times before reluctantly opening her eyes.
Jiang Yongtai released his grip and stared at her expressionlessly.
Jiang Huiyuan stared at his face for a moment, then immediately smiled, her voice still soft and nasal from just waking up.
"Oppa, good morning~"
"morning?"
Jiang Yongtai raised an eyebrow and spoke in a low voice.
"Didn't you go back? What are you doing here!"
Jiang Huiyuan stuck out her tongue, blinked, and looked completely innocent.
"I stayed up too late last night—Oppa probably didn't want me, a girl, to go home alone so late, right? So I'll just sleep here~"
Jiang Yongtai looked at her silently.
Jiang Huiyuan swallowed hard as he stared at her.
Oppa's expression—he doesn't seem to believe it.
Just as she was starting to feel nervous and was about to confess honestly, Jiang Yongtai propped himself up and sat up.
The blanket slipped off him, and his tone wasn't as angry as she had expected; it was just a seriousness that made her uncomfortable.
"You're too old to sleep with me anymore. This is the last time."
Jiang Huiyuan's lips immediately twitched down, and a feeling of grievance welled up in her throat.
"Why?! You could have done it before!"
"No reason."
He pulled up the blanket to cover her exposed body, didn't look at her again, got off the bed, and strode towards the bathroom.
Jiang Huiyuan lay on the pillow, looking at his back with a puzzled expression.
Why is Oppa walking so fast? Is he in a hurry to go to the bathroom?
But when he thought of what he had just said, he kicked the blanket twice in dissatisfaction and his legs thrashed about inside the blanket.
"Why? You won't even explain yourself!"
She was completely unaware that some things have nothing to do with how good or bad the relationship is between siblings. At a certain age, even the closest people should have a line drawn between them.
Jiang Yongtai didn't say what that line was, and she had never thought about it either.
She yawned and sat up in bed. The blanket slipped off her shoulders, the wide neckline tilted to one side, revealing a section of her collarbone and shoulder.
She stretched her arms and yawned, causing her T-shirt to ride up and reveal a slender waist unlike Mina's.
The sunlight slanted down her back, casting a small shadow at her lower back.
She withdrew her hand and let out a comfortable groan.
I haven't slept this well in ages!
From as far back as she can remember, she would cling to Jiang Yongtai and sleep with him. Even in the summer when it was very hot, she would put her feet on his legs, and in the winter, she would curl up in his arms like a heater.
Until he entered high school, one day he suddenly asked his parents for a separate room.
Jiang's mother nodded on the spot, and no matter how much she pleaded, made a fuss, or clung to Jiang Yongtai's clothes, it was no use.
Later, he went to university in Seoul, while she stayed in her hometown. They could only see each other a few times a year. Fortunately, she went to an arts high school in Seoul, and they were able to stay in the same city again.
It's nice to see each other often, but it's been almost ten years since I've shared a bed with my oppa and slept until dawn like this.
Jiang Huiyuan chuckled, kicked his foot on the mattress, and jumped off the bed.
When Jiang Yongtai came out of the bathroom, he saw her jumping around on her bed and frowned.
"Get off, the bed is going to break."
"It's broken, so be it! I'll buy Oppa a new one! A bigger one! This one's too small now~"
Jiang Yongtai walked over speechlessly, reached out and pulled her off the bed, flicking her forehead with his fingers.
"Go wash up, I don't have time to mess around with you. I took half a day off yesterday, and I'll be very busy starting today."
Jiang Huiyuan wasn't angry after being hit this time. She covered her forehead, smiled at him, responded, and scurried into the bathroom in her slippers.
Jiang Yongtai sighed as he watched her close the door, shook his head, and began to change his clothes.
Just as she finished buttoning her shirt, the bathroom door opened a crack, and Jiang Huiyuan peeked out with half of her clean face, water droplets still clinging to her chin.
"Oppa, a towel~"
"On the shelf."
"Which one is yours?"
"You use the light-colored one instead of the dark gray one."
"Oh, then I'll use Oppa's~"
The door closed again, and after two seconds, I heard her humming a song from inside. I couldn't tell which Japanese song it was, but the tune was a bit off.
Jiang Yongtai put on his coat and leaned against the wardrobe to wait.
It seems it's time to take her keys back.
